Sayuri vs Valkoinen

Sayuri's blow landed, a pinpoint strike straight to Valkoinen's side, but not in the fashion she had intended. Her eyes widened at the Fin's swiftness, and her leg was tangled up in Valkionen's grip. With her small size it was easy for her to get a hold of her. The ninja started to wince as Valkoinen started working her leg some more, threatening to make her stumble off her feet. She would strike before that could happen, and send a swift but brutal chop directly into the back of the merc's neck.

"Nghhh..{" Val grunted as the blow landed against her neck and she felt her grip weakening. She fell to the ground and reached to the back of her head, lashing out her leg to try and kick Sayuri's knee to buy her some time to recover.

Sayuri winced and nearly buckled when Valkoinen nailed her in the knee. She leapt back from Valkionen to a safe enough distance. She tested putting weight on the leg that had been struck, and found it didn't hurt so bad. She turned back to Valkoinen with narrowed eyes. "The White Death is as good as they say," she said, her arms raised defensively.

Valkoinen panted softly and looked at Sayuri before standing up as well. "You are also not with the being bad." She said. Valkoinen kept her hands at her sides and examined Sayuri. After a second, she would dash forward and aim a punch at Sayuri's right wrist with her left hand. Not trying to break the defenses but attacking them directly.

Sayuri watched Valkoinen's movements and was surprised when the merc charged straight for her. Her surprise was quickly shook off, and she prepared herself for the worse. Sayuri batted away the punch with the same wrist it was aimed at. With her other arm she aimed a swift but effective chop to Valkoinen's throat.

Valkoinen slid her leg back and bent back a little bit to increase the distance of the chop as shebrought her free hand up to deflect the chop with her wrist, angling it to try and guide the hand upwards instead of merely blocking it. With her defensive maneuver, planting her body, she lashed out her free leg to try and aim a swift kick once again at Sayuri's knee.

"Guh!" Sayuri cried out when the merc nailed her directly in her already injured knee. She cursed herself for allowing herself to be exposed like that. She fell onto her injured knee, and would then be in a temporarily vulnerable position.

Valkoinen watched Sayuri fall to her knee and took another step backward. She would then try and aim a sharp kick at Sayuri's head, hoping to slam the point of her boot into Sayuri's forehead.

Wincing from the pain in her knee, Sayuri looked up just in time to see Valkoinen's foot slam into her head. She cried out in pain, flying back onto her back on the mat. She groaned out in a dazr, her hands holding her head in pain.

Valkoinen did not want to waste any time. If Sayuri was truly as good as she believed, she couldn't waste a second. Marching over to Sayuri and attempted to lift her boot up and drive her heel down into Sayuri's injured knee. If she could do that, she would then kneel down and try and grab Sayuri's ankle and force it upward to try and bend the leg the wrong direction all while putting pressure on Sayuri's knee with her boot.
