Steel Cage Match: The Stranger vs. Tessa "Harrier" Price

"Feels kind of shit to get hit where you don't expect it, huh?"
Tessa smiled gleefully and held a moment of eye contact with the cold eyes of her opponent and an amused look in her own eyes, but her taste of payback was already satisfied with that single stomp and the goal of limited mobility of the Stranger reached. It seemed like a good idea to take a first attempt to climb out of the Cage, now that her opponent had a bad knee to take care of, so she tried to climb a ringpost.

The Stranger allowed Tessa to turn and make her way to the ringpost because she wasn't worried in the least bit. Grabbing both knees so that she would be wrapped into a ball, The Stranger would roll her way to the ringpost before quickly unfurling and grabbing the second rung to try and propel herself at Tessa to grab onto her and keep her from going any further.

*So far, so good*
Tessa was already on the second rope with a foot on the top rope when she felt that she had an unexpected backpack to carry along with her.
"Aahh?!"
She let out a surprised cry while grabbing the ring post to prevent herself from falling uncontrollably on the floor with the Stranger. Having witnessed the brute strength of her opponent before, Tessa wasn't too keen on been superplexed, so she tried to get the head of her opponent in a single armed reverse headlock in a try to deliver an inverted DDT from the second rope, using the ropes for momentum. It would probably take them back to the floor, but the consequences were not too bright either...

The masked woman had honestly thought that her opponent was going to be higher up when she had gotten to her, but was glad that she had caught her in the manner that she had. The Stranger was ready to superplex Tessa back to the mat, but she had not managed to secure one of the blonde's arms. It was a struggle now to see which would work: the now modified superplex or the inverted DDT? The Stranger would throw a fist towards Tessa's abdomen in an attempt to gain the upperhand in this battle. No matter who won, both women would be feeling a bit of pain.

"AAH!"
The Stranger hammered her powerful fist in the back of Tessa. It was kind of hard to concentrate on her move with a wave of pain in her back, so she tried to make herself as heavy as possible in the arms of her opponent as their superplex/DDT combination brought them both down on the mat, causing the steel cloak of the ring to shiver and groan under the impact of their landing.

The two struggling women were not letting either of their opponents get the upper-hand in this tussle. As they left the turnbuckle, time seemed to slow down for the Stranger as she noted how they were positioned. Pain was immanent for them both. Surely as the bodies crashed to the mat, the impact resounded with a more metallic sound than normal due to the steel structure around them. The Stranger's body rattled with the impact with her mind only concerned on overcoming the pain as she rolled on the mat, trying to get to the nearest ropes for support.

Tessa laid, loudly moaning and gasping, on the mat while holding her neck and trampling on the mat with her heels. She was really glad that her opponent took the road to the ropes instead of her, giving her some more time to fight the pain from the thunderous fall from the ropes which still rang in her ears.

She rolled around to come to rest on the front, slowly tacking her hands from her head and her feet from kicking and dragged herself up into a kneeling position, taking deep breathings in the middle of the ring.

The Stranger was gasping and groaning as she used the ropes to bring herself to her feet, leaning against them as soon as she got there, just staring at Tessa with a red glow from her eyes. She was none too happy that she was feeling this much pain this soon in the match, and the Stranger was itching to make Tessa feel her anger.

She would wait until Tessa was at her full height before rushing at her with a strong shoulder to knock her down.

The Superplex/DDT combination's effect on the humming cage left her ear again and made place for the excited anticipation of the crowd what would happen next. Tessa was also curious what the Stranger had planned to do next, and when she realized that she had missed the fact that her opponent had now the ropes to gain leverages and as she knelt in the ring like a sitting duck, it was already too late to correct it.

She had barely gotten up again when the Stranger rusher her and shoulder-blocked her to the mat again where she landed on her back again, trying to get her hands before her chest to lower the considerable impact.

The Stranger paid no mind to Tessa as she rammed her shoulder at the woman. She was confident that she had done the damage, but now she had to focus and hold onto the ropes as she came to the set opposite of wear she had left. In truth, the fall had hurt the Stranger more than she let on, and her dependance on the ropes may give way to the fact. She would glance at Tessa in order to gauge where her blonde opponent stood, or lay at the moment.
