Kurai vs. Songbird

The people all gathered in anticipation as another match is about to begin. This one promises to be different and more exciting than the last.

Suddenly, a loud sound like a bird's shiek filled the entire stadium and the crowd was scared the heck out of them. There was a shadow of a big bird came at the front of the walkway and suddenly, there was an explosion of black and pink smoke. Once it was clear, Paramore's "That's What You Get" began to play and there stood a girl with pink and white hair. Her clothing consisted of a dark shining pink sleeveless zippered suit with the collars covering the bottom of her face, long black fingerless gloves, and black army boots. She would walk with a stern look on her face and didn't care if others think that she's a freak.

She then jumped and kept her balance on the top rope before front flipping into the ring. Afterwards, she would get to her own corner and wait for her opponent to come.

Kurai stood at the entrance to ring watching her opponent's entrance. Kurai put on her new purple hood and marched out as "Indestructible-Disturbed" played. The crowd began cheering, tjis should be good match. Kurai stops before the actual ring, and does a few practice sets of kenpo, and transitions the last into a backflip into the ring. Kurai was begining to feel comfortable in AFW, then she threw off her purple hood and revealed her black v-necked shirt, which exposed her cleavage significantly more than her usual white top, and stopped at the base of her breasts, showing her lightly muscled stomach. Holding out a hand, Kurai said, "Hello, I'm Kurai, nice to meet you, hope to have a good match."

Songbird watched as her opponent made her entrance. Her attire was quite dazzling as her entrance. When she entered the ring and offered a handshake, Songbird would smile and shook it as she said, "Pleased to meet you, Kurai. I'm Songbird and I hope to have a good match with you too. I heard you were quite good in fighting, so I hope to see some of your talents here today."

Kurai smiled back as the handshake broke, "I'll make sure you see them, dont worry." Kurai would walk back slowly towards her corner. After reaching it, Kurai slid her left foot back, getting into a right nuetral bow position, waiting for the bell.

Songbird would walk to her own corner and start to stretch herself out a bit before the match begins. She would bow back to Kurai in respect for her in hopes that they will have a good match together. As soon as the bell rang, Songbird would get into her fighting stance and begin walking to the center of the ring, waiting for her opponent to step forward.

Kurai saw the respectful bow from her opponent, and got herself ready mentally, she still wanted a good match. But, Kurai wanted this win pretty badly, so she couldnt afford to play it easy. Plus, Songbird had asked to see her moves, so if anything, she was just being polite.
Kurai stepped carefully forward as her opponent seemed to be waiting in the center of the ring for her. Kurai decided, she would start the show for once. She tries to throw a right punch as a feint, but then shifting all of her weight onto her right foot launches into a powerful left kick, arcing it up towards Songbird's gut. "Grraa!" she would yell if this made contact.

Once Kurai got to the center of the ring, the match began. When Kurai threw her right punch, Songbird would dodge it, but she realized that it was supposed to be feint for another move. Sure enough, Kurai went on with a massive left kick to Songbird's gut. "GUH!" she cried out as she stepped back and holding her gut to try and relieve the pain. "Ungh, good one."

Kurai dropped back, and said quietly "Thanks, a lot more of those are coming." She was very focused at this point, she would not lose here. Kurai stepped forward again, and launched another left kick, this time aiming at Songbird's right leg, hoping to bring her to one knee. "Take this!" Kurai would yell as she kicked.

Songbird would still try to catch her breath as Kurai moved in for another attack. Watching Kurai's left leg raise up, she knew that it would be another left kick. So, Songbird would try to block it away with her targeted right leg. If this worked, she would give one punch to the face then gut before giving a left sweep to get Kurai on the ground.

Kurai hated to admit it, she was worried she was losing her edge, that might've been why she rushed her decision to attack Songbird. She payed for it immediately, as she felt Songbird block her right leg. Then she quickly delivered two punches to Kurai, one in the face and on in the stomach, causing Kurai to bend over in pain "Gah.." she grunted as she felt her legs get sweeped out from under her. "Ouch..." She complained as she tried to get up quickly and get back to a fighting stance.
