Kelly Conway Vs. Cassie Elliot - Submission Match

Cassie remained unsmiling while the crowd cheered her for her efforts. She glared at Nikolette with big green eyes and angry eyebrows.

"Nikolette," she said slowly, with a deliberate, red-faced calm. "I don't need you to look out for me. I didn't ask for your help. And I don't want it!"

She stamped her foot, and then began to feel embarrassed. She hesitated for a moment, and then quickly made her way out of the ring.

Nikolette raised her eyebrow when Cassie said her name and gave her the stink eye. The engineer took a step back as Cassie fumed and stormed off. Nikolette let her head droop for a moment and then sighed.

It had been a tough loss, maybe Nikolette was too forward. Cassie obviously had a great deal of pride but was she just supposed to let Kelly hurt and possibly injure the girl? They were friends, weren't they? Despite being a genius, Nikolette was having a hard time piecing things together.

Nikolette shook her head. Now she was alone in the ring and it wasn't even a match she was in. She carefully slinked away from the crowd, hopping over the barrier and sneaking out through the audience.
