Hawkeye vs. "Gnarly" Charlie Haines

Charlie could see that Hawkeye had plenty of fight in her, and that he had lots more softening up to do to really chip away at her significantly. He got to his feet and jumped striaght up trying to land a legdrop across Hawkeye's throat!

"You got a lot of fight in ya for sure!" Charlie said matter of factly, and as a compliment to his opponent. She seemed like Carmen in that outside the ring Charlie imagined that he would get along very well with Hawkeye. However, right now he had to ignore that and focus on the match once more.

The blows kept coming, Hawkeye getting a leg dropped onto her throat, causing her legs to kick upwards in recoil, the blonde rolling around on the mat, wide eyed, as she coughed and gasped, finally rolling onto her front, rubbing her throat.

"Gh....damn...."

She groaned, still trying to push herself back up. This guy was like a rubber ball, even when she hit him, he bounced back just as hard.

Hawkeye was still down, but Charlie needed a breather. Submission holds weren't his strong point at all, but one would allow him a break.

Charlie grabbed onto Hawkeyes nearest arm and moved his legs around it, across Hawkeyes chest. He then yanked back, trying to put Hawkeye in an armbar!

"Had enough?" Charlie asked, hopeful for a quick win. His voice was actually a bit shaky as he had no desire to put Hawkeye through any more pain than necessary.

"N-No way! I'm not done yet!"

Hawkeye yelled back, letting out a pained yelp as he yanked on her arm. Biting her lip, the former soldier kicked her feet on the mat. The armbar hurt, but not as much as she had expected it too, not fully applied as it should have been.

Taking advantage of this, Hawkeye kicked her legs up and swiveled her hips so that her body was perpendicular to Charlie's, allowing her to negate his arm bar and grab his legs, using her shoulder to fold him up in a sudden pin!

Charlie had to hand it to Hawkeye, she had guts and skill!

However, he wasn't altogether thrilled about going from having her in an armbar to being pinned! The referee counted to one before he really grasped what was going on. Charlie flailed a little bit as the referee counted to two, and at that point he thrust up as hard as he could, freeing himself from the pin.

"Shit... how much energy do ya have kid?"

"Damn!"

Hawkeye cursed, Charlie kicking out of her roll up. Rolling away, she got up to her knee's, rubbing her shoulder and rotating her arm, soothing it out from that armbar as she smirked at him.

"Heh, energy is the gift of the young, old man"

she said, teasing the older guy a little as she got up to her feet and got her arms up, slowly moving in, looking to lock up again.

Charlie smiled at being called old, shaking his head. "Damn kids...."

He locked up with Hawkeye and tried to grab her left arm and twist it around her back, placing her in a hammerlock. It wouldn't do much, but if Charlie could keep frustrating Hawkeye he banked on her making a couple mistakes. If she got mad and left openings, he could capitalize. If she kept calm, at least this gave him time to think of something else to hit her with from the air....

As if being caught in an armbar wasn't enough, now the quick male had the same arm locked behind her in a hammer lock, twisting it behind her and making her bite her lip to hold in a groan.

Struggling a bit, Hawkeye reached back, trying to get a hold around the back of his head, where she could get a hold and pull him forward, bending low to toss him over her shoulder!

Charlie's aerial assault would have to wait, as he felt Hawkeye grab his head and snapmare him over her shoulder and down onto the mat!

"Arrgh! Damn...." He said as he hit the mat in a sitting position. He got to one knee and rubbed his butt, which was still stinging from the impact!

He knew Hawkeye wouldn't stay still for long, if at all. Charlie looked up, but stayed low. Once Hawkeye came close enough he would deliver a good, hardy side kick to Hawkeye's obliques!

"GAH! MY OBLIQUES!"

Hawkeye yelled, backing up a step and rubbing her abs as she backed up.

Growling, the blode ran forward, aiming a hard kick of her own towards the sitting man's stomach!
