Entropy Title Triple Threat Match! Julia Rogers vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders vs. Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt (C)

Julia’s gaze immediately turned to the entranceway once Lukretia’s music hit, though the song was quickly drowned out in a sea of boos from the audience. And had the crowd not understood how important the impending announcement would be, the noise likely would’ve continued long enough to drown out the General Manager’s words. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case. They quickly quieted down once Lukretia started speaking, and after sparing a quick glance at the exiting entourage and heiress, Julia heard the announcement loud and clear.

The blonde’s eyes went wide while the crowd burst into another round of cheers at the news that the two Higurashi dojo prodigies would be squaring off at Avalanche for the Entropy Championship! Before Julia could say or do anything in response, the ref finally made a decisive move in declaring the victor...or, victors. Carrying the championship belt, she moved to stand between Alaina and Julia, holding it with one strap dangling in front of each woman. Still trying to absorb everything that was happening, the luchadora hesitantly took hold of the strap before her. And once Alaina had done the same, the ref would raise both combatants’ arms into the air, along with the Entropy Championship!

A plethora of emotions and thoughts were running through Julia’s head, but finally, as surreal as everything was, it was starting to sink in. Taking in the crowd’s cheers, a grin finally formed on her masked face again. She was happy- no, ecstatic that she had righted the wrong that she’d been put through at Summer Splash. But she was also feeling confident. Tired as she was from the grueling triple threat match, the cowgirl was already looking ahead to Avalanche, and the thought of what winning that match would feel like.

“Hey..” she said, calling over to Alaina. “We did it.” It certainly wasn’t what Julia had expected, and honestly it wasn’t what she’d wanted either. But, nothing she could do about it. At least, not yet. “Ya better bring your best at Avalanche. ‘Cause this belt ain’t big enough for the two of us.” she said with a grin, before facing the crowd again and holding up both arms for a final pose, then headed toward the ropes to exit the ring, still holding her end of the championship belt. It was as awkward an exit as Julia had ever tried to make, but that wouldn’t do anything to sour her good mood as she’d take her leave with the Amazon once Alaina had joined her outside the ring.

Alaina suddenly felt like she was on cloud nine.  She jumped up and stood on one side of the referee as Julia did the same.  When the boss made her way out, Alaina's heart froze.  The second before Lukretia spoke seemed like forever.  As Alaina processed what happened, her feeling of joy returned.  While not her ideal scenario, she showed that she could beat Gwendolyn and hang with Julia.  Here she was, the big girl who couldn't beat anyone with talent now standing in the ring as an Entropy co-champion.  If she could get this far, just think of how far she could end up going before all is said and done...

The crowd seemed split, as some cheered for Julia while others cheered for Alaina.  Facing Julia at Avalanche was going to be interesting to say the least.  The good old dojo was going to look good no matter what, even if Alaina knew Taylor's thoughts about this triple threat match that had just transpired.  "Oh don't worry about me Julia, and I can't wait to see which one of us has this belt all to themselves after Avalanche..."  Alaina said as she looked right up at the belt.  It would look great around her waist.  A giant smile spread across Alaina's face as she kept her gaze fixed on the belt that she wanted so badly.  At Avalanche she planned on showing the world what she could do, that she could win the big match, and that she was a champion.

Alaina hopped out of the ring and left for the backstage with Julia, her new co-champion for the moment. At least if there was anyone Alaina would share a title with it would be Julia.
