So Anxious

”That, I can do.” Carmen flicked her tongue Akino’s way and started to exert a little pressure - just barely enough to hurt, right now. A hospital visit would wreck the mood, so she had to be careful. ”How is this?”

Akino didn’t initially notice the semi-absentmindedness of her lover. It was only after she finished speaking that she felt Carmen’s gaze, which had been fixed right on her the entire time. What could’ve been going through the boxer’s mind? Akino couldn’t be sure, but she had an oddly good feeling about it.
