Re: Tension World Title Match: Reira Kirishima (C) vs. Kozue Kaburagi

Once upon a time, Reira had been a sweet young girl. A young girl whose father only showed stern military discipline and a mother that only showed indifference, but whose beloved grandmother had shown kindness, love, and understanding.

A little girl who, as she grew up and was faced with constant setbacks and disappointments and failures, no matter what her issue or problem or complaint, could find an ear to listen, a gentle voice to advise, and a warm shoulder to cry on from her beloved grandmother.

A girl who, no matter how angry she started to get at the world, or how big the chip on her shoulder was becoming, always found peace and calm with her beloved grandmother.

A girl who, when she failed to join the JSDF and decided to become a pro wrestler instead, ended up getting her first wrestling outfit made by her beloved grandmother, a uniform she still wore to that day.

A girl who, soon after, held her beloved grandmothers hand in the hospital as she breathed her last, remembering her beloved grandmother's final words, telling her to be safe, be happy, to never let anyone make her afraid.

Somewhere deep, deep within the rage and aggression and violence and disappointment and loneliness and disillusion and false bravado and lack of self worth that made up Reira Kirishima, was still that little girl...

and that little girl had just been called "afraid".

Eyes widening, Reira let out a loud growl, raising her boot and stomping down hard onto the fallen self proclaimed ninja below her, not even bothering to aim her attack.

"I! AM! NOT! AFRAID! OF! CLYDE! FUCKING! GASTIN! BITCH!"

She yelled, punctuating each word with another stomp, before dropping her belt and leaving the ring, throwing the time keeper off his folding chair and picking it up before returning to the ring and sliding it onto Kozue's foot, the girls ankle nestled between the seat and the back of the folded up steel chair.

"LET'S SEE HOW YOU WALK AFTER THIS!"

She yelled, making her way towards the turnbuckle, fully intending to leap off and land on that chair and shatter the ninja's ankle!

"Aww another horrid stomp and... Wait what's this!? Oh dang! Reira's goin' for it! Ninjette's going up aaandd... Aw no! A reverse STO and BAM! Down goes Kozue, aww, face first into the canvas Ms. Barker and our favorite Ninja is laid out... One... Two... It's over..." Clyde said into his headset with clear disappointment as he watched Ninjette fall to the champion.

"It's uh... Been fun, Belle." He said a bit bashfully, he wasn't really mad at her anymore about KOing, now that everything had cooled, he realized she had taken care of him after his fight with Carmen and that aside from being a bit frisky, maybe she wasn't so bad.

"Let's..." He began to say before suddenly seeing Reira attack Ninjette, much to the disdain of the crowd. "Aw hell what's this!? Reira's attacking Ninjette while shes down! Stompin on that busted foot! Not very sportswoman like!" Clyde yelled as he watched Reira assault Ninjette before exiting the ring to brandish a chair to use against Ninjette! Placing the metal chair between her ankle!

"HEY!" Clyde shouted as he climbed over the announcers table and chased after Reira, leaping onto the ring apron and grabbing Reira by the chin to turn her head before he let loose a hard forearm shot to go right across her noggin and throw her off of the turnbuckle!

Belle winced at the closing seconds of the match. She liked to tease and torment but Reira was downright sadistic. "Yeah, that champ seems ta wanna make sure that Ninja Gal ain't gonna walk outta here. There's winnin an there's sour grapes... I agree with Ninja Gal's assessment though. The champ's scared a ya, Clyde."

Belle spoke while Reira grabbed a chair and watched as Reira really did go to try and end Ninjette's career. As Clyde hopped up over the announce booth, Belle slipped around and dove into the ring.

"Don't worry twinkletoes, no one's sendin them piggies ta market tonight." Belle said as she carefully removed the chair from Kozue's ankle and tossed it far away from Clyde and Reira.

She then grabbed Kozue's arm and began to tug her towards the apron. "Ya got one good leg right? I got two of em and that should be enough ta get yer butt outta here!" She said, slipping through the ropes and trying to pull Kozue through them as well and set her up so she was standing on one leg and propped against Belle.

Thank God for Clyde Gastin.

Kozue never thought those words would pass through her head. She’d never had anything against Clyde - he was a nice guy, fun wrestler, they’d been cool the few times they’d interacted. She never thought he would be the one thing standing between her and the end of her career, though. But that was exactly what happened. Reira was just a second away from smashing her ankle to pieces, and there was Clyde, going up top and saving her at the last second.

Kozue went along with the cowgirl without any protest. She needed the help, as she gingerly tried to put some pressure on her leg and immediately regretted it. ”Shit!” She cursed through her teeth and bit back a shriek. ”Shit.” Kozue hopped along with one arm around the cowgirl’s shoulder, hopping along beside her. ”Thanks, me and my butt appreciate the help.” She managed a small smirk, though the pain made sure it didn’t last. ”Your name?”

To Hell with Clyde Gastin

That was the thought going through Reira's mind as the cowboy not only got a good shot in on her, but threw her off the turnbuckle, the tall redhead landing hard on the mat, yelling in pain as she smacked onto the mat, landing on her front.

Groaning, she started trying to push herself up, swinging wildly in case Clyde was near.

"You wanna fight now Cowboy!?"

She yelled, the time keeper ringing the bell repeatedly and the referee girl signaling to the back that they needed security.

"Belle B. Barker."

Belle said, holding Kozue against her as they slowly proceeded away from Clyde and Reira. "It's a real shame." She said. "What that girl did to ya." She paused her words and her feet. "I mean..." She said, stopping again as though she was working through something, "you coulda been hobblin around fer a few months if she'da hit whatever she was goin fer. So, ya know... I kinda feel bad... but, uh, maybe that'll teach ya not ta stick yer nose where it don't belong."

Belle formed a bit of a grin and her eyes began to twinkle. "I mean, cause yer tough and yer pretty cute!" She said as the arm that was wrapped around Kozue's waist began to slide off, slipping down and lingering on one of Kozue's cheeks just a bit. She gave it a healthy squeeze. "So, this one, I kinda feel a little bad about."

She tilted her head and gave an apologetic smile to the Ninjette before she pulled her arm away fully to leave Kozue hopping on one foot just long enough so she could try and curl her arm up under Kozue's chin, hold onto it and drop down onto her butt, hopping there was nothing Kozue could do but eat the jawbreaker.

Honestly, Kozue wasn’t paying much attention to what Belle was saying. Aside from the fact that she had the worst ear for country accents, her mind was busy trying to process everything that had gone done. She’d been saved from having her foot busted to pieces, but it was still in rough shape, too rough for her to be in the ring for a few weeks. Could she get another title shot? She wasn’t high on the totem pole, middling with the rankings. It would be months, maybe a couple of years, before she could dream of getting another chance. Her best opportunity, and it was gone.

Gone, gone, gone.

Kozue was so caught up in her thoughts that she only really noticed something was off when Belle pinched her cheek and held her chin. Since the jawbreaker was one of her favorite moves, some part of her mind saw it coming. Problem was, that part was overridden by the logical side of her brain that didn’t expect to get laid out for no good reason.

That part turned out to be wrong. For the second time in two minutes, Kozue found herself on her back, laid out, staring at the ceiling, tottering between consciousness and unconsciousness. Her body hurt too much to even move - all she could was lay there, spread-eagled, as a burning question rose in her mind.

”Wh…” She tried to lift her head up enough to at least look at Belle, but even that drained her too much after a moment. ”Why?”

Belle rolled over onto her hands and knees and crawled over to Kozue. She appeared upside down in Kozue's vision with a big grin on her face.

"That's fer cuttin in line in fronta me an Clyde. We had it taken care of." Belle reached out and patted Kozue's cheek. "Don't worry, though, water under the bridge, now. I'll get ya a stretcher and them docs'll patch ya right up!"

Belle leaned forward and smooched Kozue's forehead. She then hoped up to her feet and waved at the Ninjette. "See ya round, Kiz... Kaz..." Belle stalled for a moment then snapped her fingers. "Kozue! Geeze, that one's a toughie." Belle said as she turned to skip off up the ramp as the paramedics passed her and rushed towards Kozue.

Clyde didn't wait for Reira to stand, he scaled the turnbuckle and waited for her to rise up before he leaped off of the turnbuckle, dropping from the air to slam his feet into her chest to send her flying back with a dropkick!

If it worked, Clyde would hit the mat and stagger back up to his feet hastily. "Outta the arena, Reira!" Clyde barked, smirking if he managed to fight off Reira, he had seen Belle yank Ninjette out of the ring out the corner of his eye and was glad she was being taken care of, Belle wasn't such a bad girl!

"Belle... Let's... Huh!?" Clyde turned and saw a near out cold Kozue, sprawled out on the floor with Belle looming over her before she scampered away!

"B-Belle!!" Clyde shouted with a twitching eye, just what in the world did she do!? Or rather, Why!?

"And there's my door..."

Reira thought, laying on the mat. Clyde's missile dropkick striking her right in the chest, the impact knocking her across the ring.

It had looked bad. She wasn't in condition to fight Clyde right now, and definitely needed an escape.

Luckily, her chance came as the girl Reira could only describe as "Clyde with Boobs" did...something or other that distracted the cowboy, luring him towards the other side of the ring and away from her.

Grabbing her title from off the mat nearby, Reira rolled out of the ring and began her escape up the ramp, holding the title belt up high for all to see, her other arm cradling her chest where Clyde's boots had struck.

"You can all fuck off! I'm the champ! I'm still the champ, and I'm always gonna be THE CHAMP!"

She yelled, her music still blaring. So what if she couldn't injure Kozue, and Clyde got some shots in? What mattered, ALL that mattered, was she was still the champion.
