Eliza Harenwood (W/Clyde) Vs Shido - Fanning the flames

Clyde's eyes would widen as came... Dancing, right out of the gate, spinning several times before going for a very acrobatic butterfly kick!? Clyde didn't even know she could do that!

"GODDAMN!" Clyde shouted as he watched Eliza go for the kick before seeing Shido duck low by spreading his legs.

"OHHHH!!!" That was actually kind of a cool dodge, but it sucked Eliza missed, good thing she was following right back up and chased the fucker down until her foot would SMACK against his... Hand!

"AWW C'MON, MAN!" Clyde pounded against ring apron as this Shido kid managed to avoid direct hits thus far, Clyde was starting to get riled up.

"KICK HIS ASS, ELIZA!!" Roared Clyde with a flexed arm and clinched fist.

Eliza knew that she had to stay on the opponent as best she could, be relentless and strike them down. Her first displays was just examples of the finesse and acrobatics that the fans of Tension had come to expect from the dancing passion, she was like a flame that danced and flickered beautifully but yet was harmful when close to. The expressed admiration of Clyde was evident of this.

But even the fans were wowed the fact was that neither attack had the desired effect that Eliza wished, first attack had failed to connect. The second had only been blocked, but even so one couldn't easily tank the lower limb strikes of Ms Harenwood. Nevertheless it seemed Shido was stunned a little, understandable as it had made a very notable sound effect.

The British noble lightly panted from her combination of attacks as she hit the mat, and Shido seemed to be stumbling towards the corner as he tried to get his bearings after his hearing was rattled. Eliza saw a chance and she prepared herself for one extra attack, getting to a vertical base as quick as she could and run forward to try and deliver a dropkick aimed at Shido's midriff. If it could connect it'd send him right into that corner, third time could be the charm.....

Clyde's cheering one just one of many. As most of the arena seemed to be behind Eliza and her flashy style and moves! Still, Shido didn't seem perturbed by the blatant favoritism. If anything, he began to blush a bit as seeing Eliza rise and run towards him for the drop kick, gave him a good look at her in action. She did have a certain charisma and charm to her. And Shido could see how she'd captivate the hearts of fans this way. If they weren't in the middle of a match, seeing her in the heat of battle might captivate even the fanboy. But he wouldn't be a deer in headlights, at least not yet!

His opponent picked up speed quickly and was poised to deliver a powerful dropkick. Shido got to experience her leg strength firsthand and he already knew it was something to behold. He thought to simply jump up and get some footing on the top rope. It would be a simple task for someone as small and agile as himself, but the problem was there was simply no time! In the split second Shido had to react, all he could do was attempt another block. Shido had the capacity to take several blows and keep on going, but if there was action he could take to prevent a direct hit, he would be wise to take it.

Shido would lower himself and cross his forearms to block. But still, he'd let out an audible groan as Eliza's dropkick connected! Shido's upper body was forced deep into the middle turnbuckle. Regardless of what Shido's reaction would be, it sure looked like it hurt, even if he did try to defend himself against it! And as a result of the move , Shido would fall to his butt, leaning backwards against the bottom turnbuckle. He'd breathe a bit and recuperate while Eliza landed after her move. He smelled a follow up coming, but this time it didn't look like Shido was gonna be capable of doing much of anything about it, and he'd comment on this. "I know what you're thinking... He'd pause to breathe and then continue in jest but I'm telling you...we can talk this out.

Eliza liked to believe in that old adage that working hard paid off, and talent helped with that. This was put into practise, Shido might have some considerable endurance. But Eliza had made a career out of taking on strong men and defeating them, with grace and style while she did it too. Still the fanboy was keeping up a solid defence, but Eliza's style meant that when she got past that defence you crumbled. That head, the delightful little target was going to be where Eliza would try to deliver her offence.

Still even if Shido blocked the attack the momentum carried him into the corner, back against the wall so to say. In fact Eliza's attack sent him into the middle turnbuckle and then he was sat down flat on his arse, the dancing passion landed on her back once again with a thud and a grunt. Ms Harenwood lightly panted as she got herself back up, she smelled the chance. Shido's words had reached Eliza's ears.

The dancing passion said nothing, but merely shook her head. If Shido wanted to quit then he could say so, but this wasn't a dance at the ballroom. No this was going to be spoken with actions and not words, Shido was down and Eliza wanted to try and go for it. After taking a deep breath Eliza quickly attempted to bolt forward, and lunge herself at Shido where Eliza then moved her body in the motions to try and plow into the fanboy with a Kevin Owens style cannonball to knock the wind out of the enemy's sails. Wasn't usually her thing, but during her time away from Tension she had tried to expand her arsenal beyond "Kicking them."

Shido wasn't in the most favorable situation, but he was doing better than he appeared to be, and he knew that. He'd been biding his time playing defense so far without really showing off any of his strengths. Perhaps now he could try to take Eliza by surprise, or so he hoped. It wasn't time to go on offense, not when he was flat on his hindquarters in the corner of the ring.

Shido kept conscious of Eliza's actions, despite the roars of the crowd and Clyde at ringside. He looked up briefly to see the spirited, dancing enchantress charging at him. Ordinarily, he might find himself distracted by the seeing the beauty in action, even if he was up against her. Rather than get sidetracked, he'd grab the rope right next to him and try to slide his legs under them, attempting to pull himself out of the ring before Eliza's cannonball could connect. If successful, he'd let out of a sigh of relief and find himself conveniently near Clyde.

He'd strike up conversation with the gentlemen despite the gravity of the match "Phew, lotta fire in her, isn't there?" He'd say to Clyde while pointing to Eliza in the ring.

Eliza knew that she had the momentum of the battle in her favour, granted she had yet to land proper and decisive strikes at the head of Shido. But it was thus so far in her favour, as Eliza had wished it to be so. The fanboy was a slippery partner, however Eliza was confident that if she plowed into her opponent with this it would take the wind right out of his sails.

But again Shido managed to excuse himself from the wrath of the dancing passion, in a way that could make Mayweather himself proud in terms of avoiding danger. Eliza had braced herself for impact against the corner regardless of if her opponent was present or not, after hitting in her cannonball the British woman would quickly revert to a prone position while emitting an audible grunt. Her form was that of one that looked primed to pounce, nevertheless the ref was moving in close to keep an eye on things.

As much as the dancing passion wanted to charge in and strike at Shido she had to admit her repeated attacks had left her feeling a tad exhausted, not to the extent where she was tired. But catching her breath was perhaps the better move here, Eliza's eyes darted to Clyde with raised eyebrows. And Ms Harenwood moved back in a semi crouched stance as she took a deep breath, in her mind Shido was stalling the inevitable. Nothing more.

Clyde's eye twitched as he watched Shido avoid Eliza and slide beside near him. The cowboy gave him a very dry look.

"Are you like... Gonna wrestle or just get yer ass kicked?" He asked, having to resist punching this dweeb who refused to take his friend seriously.

Shido was on a roll when it came to making friends that night. Between Clyde at ringside, Eliza in the ring, and the roaring crowd, it was like he was hated heel in his opponent's hometown. Shido looked at the crowd booing him near the ring, and then back to Clyde who had just made an unfriendly remark, and finally, to Eliza who was poised to come at him as soon as he entered the ring. The kid simply shrugged while donning a slightly more serious countenance.

It seemed Shido had resolved to stop trying to get a feel for his opponent and try to turn the tables. "Guess I've seen enough." He said as he hopped up onto the ring apron in a quick motion, using the ropes to pull himself up to his feet. He would slowly enter the ring, making sure to keep his eyes on his opponent as a precaution. If successful, he'd assume a stance with his arms in front of him, ready to kick things off once again at a moment's notice.

Eliza had been tempted, sorely so to strike at Shido while he was out there. Maybe a quick dropkick in the back, unfitting for a lady of her stature certainly. But it would have served as a warning for her enemy. But some factors made that line of thinking unwise, namely the fact that she required a moment to catch her breath after her array of dazzling attacks. Plus there was the chance that Clyde might get caught in the crossfire, Eliza didn't doubt the cowboy's ability to slug it out. But still it would result in a DQ no doubt, but the fact he was there was of course able to boost the morale of the dancing passion.

As Shido entered the ring Eliza had paced to the left, in a sort of confident strut as she ran her hands through her magnificent blonde hair. It seemed that the fanboy was taking things a bit more seriously now, good. Eliza preferred it when her dancing partners put the heart into it, made it so that they were worth the effort of outstepping them. Now it was time to re-adjust and get the tempo starting once again.

The dancing passion prepared herself to get back into this, a few moments to catch her breath was all that she had required. Shido looked ready to move to react in a second, this would require some careful or fancy footwork to deal with. So with that Eliza made to move in, but then quickly darted back. She wished to see what her partner in this dance would do if given the chance to lead, it took two after all.

Shido had thought of a strategy. He'd wait in the ring for Eliza to come to him. When she started charging at him, he flinched a bit, bit he did so towards her instead of away. While it was very see-able, he also recovered near instantaneously upon seeing her retreat momentarily. Shido would begin to circle the ring with her, slowly, continuing to talk like he had been the entire match.

"As big a fan as I am of chivalry, I'm not too interested in leading this dance, I apologize." Shido knew he had annoyed a few people that night, but he wasn't about to be pressured into making a hasty move and subsequently being goaded into making a mistake. He tensed himself and was ready for another strike. Shido had planned to take the full brunt of it and catch it with his hands, hoping to look for a submission to counter after receiving a punch or kick.
