Priscilla Haynes vs Anja the Raven

Now if that wasn´t the sweetest kind of body contact for her right now, the sound of her elbow smacking against the head of her opponent. Of course she would not be able to make some flippedydo move to stay on her feet, but she was pretty sure that Priscilla would have liked to change places right now with her.

Armed with that kind of thoughts, she would get up just in time before her opponent would sit up.
"Alright then."
She murmured more to herself than to anyone else before she would attempt to grab her opponent at the ankles, cross her legs over one of her own knees and then turn her around for a Texas cloverleaf submission hold.

As she attempted to sit up, Anja went to grab her by her ankles and crossed Priscilla's legs over one of her knees and then turn her around for a Texas cloverleaf submission hold. It happened way too fast for Priscilla to react, and when the hold was locked in, with her being put on her stomach, she let out a pained cry as she felt the pressure being put in the submission hold. "Aaahhn!!" She cringed, trying to endure the pain that came from the Texas cloverleaf submission hold.

Knowing that she needed to find a way to free herself from the hold, Priscilla attempted to crawl towards the nearest ropes she could see. But, considering the hold she was put in, her progress would be excruciatingly slow. "Hhrgghh!!" She groaned, mustering her strength in her attempt to crawl towards the ropes in order to reach a rope break. Considering that they were quite close to the corner, she knew that her eyes weren't playing trick on her when she saw how close the ropes were.

After having the submission already locked in, the blonde realized that she had not looked good enough at the surrounding and their position in the ring.

"Gee, how careless."
She spat out in an angry voice about her own mistakes. She had not looked particularly focused compared to her usual matches in this match and now had to pay the price for her own mismanagement of the situation. But just because she had to pay did not mean that Priscilla would walk out of this scot free, so she would sandbag her opponent as hard as possible on the way to the last few inches to the ropes.

"Nnnghh! Nnggaahhh!!" Priscilla cried out when she felt the pressure from the submission hold she was being subjected to. But, despite that, she would continue crawling towards the ropes in hopes to grab the rope so that she could get a rope break. Her hair was matted on her sweaty forehead as she would continue moving herself towards the ropes, with an arm outstretched.

After an agonizing moment that felt like an eternity, Priscilla finally touched the rope, and she would quickly grab it. Seeing this, the referee would urge Anja to let go of the submission hold. And even though Priscilla had gotten herself a rope break, the Texas cloverleaf seemed to have done quite a number on her, and she would need some time to recover from the pain she experienced from being subjected in that submission hold.

Making it hard for Priscilla to move forward was one thing, but making it even harder for her by bending the rules like she would usually do at this point was another thing. There was still this lingering feeling that this girl had gone soft on her with the camel clutch, and that was something that she could and would never accept from anyone without evening the field at least.

"Ok."
So she would just let go at no count at all, a little bit to the surprise of the referee too and step away from the scene to march in the opposite corner and lean herself into the ropes for some much needed rest, breathing deeply in and out.

It was a little bit of a surprise that Anja let her go after she got a rope break at no count at all, but Priscilla was relieved that she didn't have to deal with more pain right after grabbing the rope. With the help of the ropes, Priscilla got up back on her feet, feeling sore all over her legs after getting herself put in such a painful submission hold.

"Hah..." Priscilla gasped out as she looked at Anja resting at the corner. She would take this chance to recover as well as she leaned against the ropes. She also needed some time to rest in order to continue the fight.

After a little bit of coming back into her comfort zone, Anja eyed her opponent until she had the impression that they were both on even ground again in terms of being exhausted. That she was tactically not on par with her old self and her current opponent was something that bugged her quite a little, but that was nothing that couldn´t be helped with a hard match.

"Now, what do you think? Bird of prey or scavenger?"
She asked with a battle ready impression on the face after she had stepped back into the middle of the ring. A little trash talk could not hurt, it in fact helped her to feel even more comfortable.

Priscilla smiled as Anja returned to the middle of the ring, and she mirrored her. "Hmm... maybe a little bit of both..." she stated her opinion before she took a stance. "But that's not necessarily a bad thing, is it?" She would prepare herself for another clash with Anja before she lunged towards her blonde opponent.

"Here I come!" She yelled as she went in for an attempt to grapple with her opponent.

"Yeah well, it is pretty good to have multiple hunting opportunities at least."
It had been an interesting answer in any case, and diplomatic one on top of that which visually pleased the Blonde. If people thought of her as arrogant or a face move when she had allowed them to come on even ground again was of no particular concern of her, but would probably spark some online discussions about a change of alignment or something like that.

At least the crowd present was happy when they clashed again in a lock, but this time Anja would not look for a move counter move clash and after a short exchange attempt to shove Priscilla into the ropes and follow up with an European uppercut.

Both Priscilla and Anja briefly locked up with each other. As Priscilla tried to come up with a way to overpower her foe, she was shoved into the ropes by Anja. In order to avoid getting herself rebounding back to Anja, she hooked her arms around the top rope, but she did not see what would come next.

"Hurgh!!"

Priscilla felt something hard hitting her chin from below, throwing her head back due to the impact. Anja had delivered an European uppercut on her, and the sheer force of the blow was enough to make Priscilla lose her balance and almost fall onto the mat. The rope was the only thing that kept her from hitting the mat with her face.

Almost half of her face was covered by her hair, and due to the disorientation she experienced, she did not have enough strength to brush those stray locks aside.
