Reina never really knew her father and was raised by her mother with some generous help from her maternal grandparents as Amaya, despite her best efforts to change into the dependable mother she wanted to be, was never quite cut out to raise a child all on her own. Reina's mom loved her more than anything though so from day one she thought the world of her, always wanting the best for her mother who worked hard to provide a good life for her. She understood even from a young age that her mom tried her best but wasn't great at keeping her own life together let alone another's, but Reina didn't mind and took on some of these responsibilities herself! Her grandparents noticed that Reina, even at only eight years old, began to cook dinner, do the laundry, and even maintain a schedule for both herself and her mother. Concerned at first they realized their grand daughter was growing up to quite responsible unlike their daughter and let it be with some assistance offered here and there.

Life went on much like that until Reina was hitting her teenage years and already she was starting to realize just how much she had inherited from Amaya. Naturally the other girls began to tease her as she developed more than they did, the constant bullying dampening the confidence she had had even as a little girl, leaving Reina more of an emotional mess than most teenagers. However it was here her mother took notice, Amaya had long since realized how special her daughter was but had never really known how to parent someone more put together than she herself was. This however was something she had experienced herself first hand and knew what she wished she had heard at that age. Their relationship changed then into something closer to the traditional mother/daughter one, with Reina still helping out with the house work and such but with Amaya taking more of a leading role as she wanted Reina to focus on herself and school, and less on how her mother was doing.

Their lives continued in this way for a number of years, Reina turning sixteen before she really started to question what it was her mother had started doing for work. Amaya had once been too busy trying to keep down odd jobs to focus on home life, but for a number of years by that point Amaya had found herself with a lot more time and even a seemingly better paycheck, not the best but better. Her mom was still a very attractive woman and certain fears about her line of work popped into her head, leading to Reina investigating where her mother went on certain nights. It was also around this time that Reina began to realize that along with her mother's body she also inherited the same lustful side she had often berated her mother for having. Her mother had done her best to hide it when Reina was younger but as she got older Amaya had put less and less effort into disguising where her mind went at times. Reina had started taking wrestling at school to stay fit but the more she got into the class the more she realized she enjoyed it far more than just as a way to keep in shape...

This led to Reina doing some web searching when her mother was out working and her grandparents were asleep, one fateful google search introducing her to the world of AFW and coincidentally revealing her mother's secret job as a wrestler for the league. Since then Reina has struggled to keep her mother from finding out she knew what her job was, a task that became especially difficult when she graduated from high school and decided what she wanted more than anything was to do as her mother had done and join the AFW. Now she balances her schedule between college classes and AFW matches, all while hiding from her mother that she had followed in her footsteps.
