Mako "The Shark" Adachi VS Makie Akamatsu

Mako had nearly knocked Makie out with those savage punches, so much so that her opponent nearly fell off the top rope. But the shrimp had grabbed a hold of the shark's hair to keep herself up, and afterwards struck Mako with some of the hardest punches yet! The blows left her reeling, so much so that the shark nearly feel over. Mako would pull a play out of Makie's book, though, and grab a hold of the woman's dark hair!

But instead of punching her back, the shark pulled herself and Makie in for a vicious headbutt! If the blow left her opponent there was only one thing left to do. Mako would slowly attempt to trap Makie's head between her legs, and hook both of their arms as well. Anyone could have recognized what the shark was attempting, but no one could believe it. Yes, Mako was attempting to put her opponent in a pedigree position to end things once and for all!

By this point, both wrestlers were balanced precariously atop the corner post, ramming punches into one another even as they both teetered atop their perches. The crowd was going wild: after seeing these two knock the stuffing out of one another all match, they were finally engaged in a finale of sorts as they battled it out atop the corner post. For a moment, Makie seemed to be getting the upper hand, her punches sending Mako reeling as she laid into the bigger girl.

That is, until Makie's hair was grabbed, and she was slammed with a vicious headbutt! Stars danced across Makie's vision, and she slumped a little against Mako, stunned by the brutal blow. The audience was screaming at this point as Mako began to set up the pedigree, squeezing Makie's head between her thighs. Breathing hard, Makie blinked, trying not to slip into unconsciousness. Danger signs were flaring in the back of her mind, and it was all she could do to ball her fist and try to throw some blind punches into Mako's side...

Mako had managed to get Makie trapped between her legs and hook one arm, but the woman was still fighting back. Her blind strikes to the shark's side were causing her to grunt and nearly lose her balance. But Mako wasn't going anywhere. She was tired and in pain from all the action so far, and she knew this was probably her last shot.

"Ack! You're...going down...Ugh! Just-Ooopph! Gggrr...just accept it already!!!" Mako growled angrily while taking the repeating shots to her side.

So, the shark would start raining down shots of her own to Makie's back. Using the point of her elbow, Mako would try to bludgeon the hurricane until she could hook her other arm. If successful, the shark would then climb up to the top rope with Makie's head still between her legs before finally jumping backwards. Not wanting to injure her opponent, the shark would release the woman's arms as they fell. However, Mako was still looking to drop her opponent face first into the mat with a top rope pedigree!

Makie felt her punch connect, and heard Mako grunt, and so she threw another punch. And another. And another. She started to batter away at Mako, her fist connecting with the other girl's powerful abs with each blow as she furiously tried to punch her way free, even as her head remained trapped between Mako's powerful thighs. She wasn't going to lose today, not to her, not to--

A powerful blow to her back caused her to gag as she felt Mako's elbow slam down against her spine. Another blow slammed down, followed by another, and Makie cried out as she felt stinging pain shoot through her nerves. Her own assault ceased, and then she felt her arms being grabbed. She was left unable to fight back, breathing hard, trapped in Mako's hold.

And then Mako jumped back, and there was a horrible feeling of her blood rushing to her head...and then the impact.

Makie's body jolted violently as it hit the mat, rebounding upwards before gravity kicked in and she sprawled onto her back. The crowd went into an uproar. Makie was lying on her back, her eyes closed, not moving at all. A cry went up from their fans when they realized that Miss Hurricane might have been KO'd, or worse, seriously hurt.

The crowd would erupt violently as Mako landed the thunderous, top rope pedigree. The whole arena was roaring as Makie crashed horribly, while the shark would land on her knees. The impact was infinitely softer than what her opponent went through, but Mako was spent. All the energy in her body was gone after finally bringing Makie down on her face. Luckily for her, the woman hit the mat so hard she popped up and played sprawled on her back.

That allowed the shark to simply collapse from her knees onto Makie's belly. Mako couldn't even hook her opponent's leg as she laid across the smaller woman. All she could do was lay there on top of the extinguished hurricane and wait for what was hopefully the final pin count. Mako's face was currently buried in her opponent's firm belly as she almost appeared to be using her foe as a pillow.

The ref girl would dive down onto her belly as the shark pinned Makie. "ONE!" she would shout as her hand smacked the mat. Mako wasn't moving at all as the count went on, making many wonder if she was actually awake at the moment, and if she'd passed out from sheer exhaustion!

Makie, meanwhile, was oblivious to the way Mako was lying across her belly, using her as an impromptu pillow, or to the countdown or to the way her fans were screaming, begging for her to get back up. She was blissfully unconscious at this point, the pedigree by Mako having finally knocked her out after all that she had endured in this match.

"TWO! THREE!"


The bell rang, causing the audience to erupt into an uproar of cheers and disbelief. After an intense, brutal match between these two ladies, Mako Adachi had finally emerged as the winner. It hadn't been a particularly long match, but given the sheer, brutal back and forth and the sheer amount of punishment both ladies had taken, it had definitely been an exhilarating and exhausting one to watch. As the audience went wild, the ref girl checked up on both Mako and Makie, who seemed to both be fairly out of it at this point.

Mako had managed to come out on top at long last. She had defeated her opponent, but at this point the shark didn't bother with getting back up. Mako actually couldn't do so as she was completely spent and in a great deal of pain. All she could do was roll off of Makie's body and lay on her back panting. Meanwhile, the crowd seemed to be going wild after such an intense bout between the two woman who had given it their all.

Mako would just ignore the ref girl as she tried checking on her, though. She didn't need any medical help, at least she thought so. All the shark wanted now was to head home, down a few bottles, and pass out on her cozy bed. So after groaning as she pulled herself up, Mako would walk out of the ring with somewhat of a limp.

As she stepped out of the ring, though, the shark looked back at her opponent. She kinda felt bad about leaving Makie like this. The woman had been one hell of an opponent, and to just leave her in ruins felt kinda cheap to Mako. So with a sigh she would walk back over to Makie and give her light pats on her cheek.

"Hey...come on Shrimp...let's get out of here..." Mako would say as she tried to wake the young woman. If successful she'd start pulling Makie up to her feet and help her walk out of the ring together. It was the least she could do after putting the woman in this beaten and battered state.

Makie was completely unaware of what was going on at first. Her consciousness drifted hapharzadly between vague wakefulness and hallucinatory sleep, the roar of the crowd and the stinging ring of the bell sounding like murmuring background noise. Little by little, though, her eyelids fluttered open. Her entire body was a throbbing mass of immobilized pain at this point, and she quickly realized that it was over, that she had lost.

Whatever, she just wanted to lie here, fall unconscious again, and forget about this loss. But her opponent wouldn't let her: she felt Mako tapping her on the cheek, and then, much to Makie's irritation, actually pulling her up! Makie, for her part, couldn't actually resist.

"D...dont need you help..." she mumbled as she wobbled upright, supported by Mako. "Iwuz...I was thisss close to winning..." Blinking rheumily, she felt Mako sagging, no doubt due to the lingering hurt on her leg, and quickly put some weight on her own legs so the two of them didn't go crashing over.

"Though...since you're trying to be a good Sam...Sammara...nice person right now...you're actually pretty tough," she said, giving Mako a weak smile, before adding under her breath "for a fucking fish girl."

Mako could tell her opponent wasn't thrilled to be forced up. But after starting she couldn't just stop and leave her there. That'd be pretty awkward. So she forced Makie to her feet, although she nearly lost her grip from fatigue and almost dropped the woman by accident. That would've been pretty shitty and embarrassing. Luckily Mako got the woman up in the end, and began to help her out of the ring...as Makie complained the whole way.

"Uh...yeah you do...and 'thisss close' is...pretty fuckin vague..." Mako huffed as she helped Makie along with a limping leg. Luckily the woman would start using her legs, as well, allowing the shark to walk a bit easier.

"But yeah...all jokes aside...you were...kinda close..." Mako would mumble as she the two went through the ropes and nearly fell down off the apron. Luckily the shark managed to make to the floor without falling, and would then walk up the ramp with Makie. Which was when the woman started to compliment her. Surprising.

The two had been insulting each other for so long that Mako assumed it would continue. The weak smile on her face looked kinda cute too. Of course Makie added her running insult at the end, but the shark only chuckled before rustling the shorter woman's hair.

"Hehe...well...you're pretty damn tough yourself...I was honestly worried...that you'd actually finish me off a few times..." Mako would say before leaning closer to the woman's ear.

"But you're still a shrimp." the shark whispered into Makie's ear as they reached the top of the ramp. She'd wink at the woman playfully, though. Mako had no beef with Makie. In fact, the shark was really starting to like her. Maybe they could go out for drinks sometime, but right now Mako wanted to get checked out by the medical staff. She felt like shit and wanted some meds to fix that up nicely.

Despite herself, Makie found herself leaning more and more on Mako as the other girl helped her out of the ring. God, the last opponent who had actually helped her was John Mitchel, after beating her for the Tension Title Belt way back when. She felt a pang in her gut when she realized she hadn't seen John since. She hadn't wanted to admit it then, but he'd been kind of cute. And likeable.

Her face reddened. Why the hell was she thinking of John now? Come to think of it, why was she thinking that way around Mako?

"A...shrimp who'll...kick your ass next time," she said as they neared the ramp, wanting to distract herself. Despite herself, she found herself admitting that Mako wasn't a bad sort at all. As they neared the ramp and went through the exit, Makie broked off, leaning over for a second as she put weight on her legs before finally, albeit slowly, standing up to her full height to face Mako.

"I'm serious, she said, smiling a little extending her hand for a shake. "If you ever want to take me on again...or hell, just meet up for a drink...look me up. I'll gladly kick your ass at either."
