An athletic and toned brunette, Irena normally wrestles in a flashy white figure-skating outfit consisting of a tight, thin leotard with plenty of shiny sequins, a short frilly skirt, and sheer, nude-colored hose.  On her feet, she generally wears the closest thing to figure skates that are wrestling-approved: shin-high, lace-up boots with a two-inch heel.

An ultra-competitive Olympic-level figure skater, she prefers to fight fair, but is willing to do whatever it takes to win.  She has spent her life focused on perfecting her abilities, so she is somewhat inexperienced and awkward in social situations.  

Past/History:
Irena’s natural agility and grace were noticed at an early age, and she was training on figure skates practically from the time she could walk.  Skating was more than a passion for her, it was the singular focus and goal of her life.  She won one competition after another, and was soon scheduled to compete in the winter Olympics.  However, right before her first Olympic competition, she suffered a brutal, nasty fall during practice, after being distracted by one of the other competitors.  Her knee shattered as she screamed and cried, both due to the intense pain, as well as the frustration at missing her opportunity to compete on the world’s highest stage.  

Irena spent the next four years in physical therapy, working on rehabilitating her knee, building her endurance to pain, and getting herself back into top skating form.  She managed to secure a spot on the Olympic team again.  Although something still felt just slightly off to her when she skated, she was not going to pass up this opportunity.  During the first freestyle, she went for a jump that she had nailed consistently before her injury, but she managed to tweak her knee again, and ended up taking a painful and embarrassing fall.  Meanwhile, the competitor who she blamed for her injury had a perfect run and finished the night in first place.  

When they were changing out of their skates in the girl’s locker room following the competition, Irena happened to be sitting next to this girl, as they both stood in their stocking feet and cleaned off their skates.  The other girl asked Irena if maybe the fall she’d taken earlier in the night was due to her still recovering knee.  Irena didn’t know what came over her.  She suddenly flew into a rage, grabbing the skate she was holding, and slashing it hard at the other girl’s knee.  The toe-pick on Irena’s skate sliced through the girl’s thin tights and cut deep into the girl’s knee, as she fell to the floor crying in pain and holding her bleeding knee.  

To her horror, this one lapse of judgement cost Irena a lifetime ban from professional figure skating, as well as virtually all other competitive sports.  Irena returned to school to earn a college degree, but she fell into a depression, and began bullying other girls in her school.  Suspended from college, she found herself back at the gym where she had rehabilitated her knee injury.  The trainer there suggested she sign up for AFW.  This would be her final shot at redemption.
