As a first outing for this rebooted account, I'd like to engage some opponent in a matroom, or something equivalent, with a focus on BJJ, Catch Wrestling, MMA, etc. It can range from actual training (preferably of the character I play but I can do yours even if I'd like further teaching for BJJ.) to an extreme match. Either way, message me if you wanna bite. While I do like femdom and all that, I will do my best to treat any participants equally.

Name ONE promotion where the booker and or guy in charge didnt use his position to book himself as the top guy above all else

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Who did he bury by winning the rumble? If he buried someone because he is a senior or attitude era wrestler or both(Goldberg) and won something of significance, then WWE is burying people left and right for about a decade.
How should HHH book himself in the main event all the time when he is running a million dollar corporation? He is the son in law of the current CEO, I am pretty sure that he would be the guy that breaks Flairs record and not Cena if he really wanted. I am not saying that he would not book himself strong as head booker, but not as the sole dominator. And even if he did , his accolades are a little bit more significant and credible than the guy who broke thousand guitars and never drew a dime(Jeff Jarett) or "Aw, it´s hot!" (Kevin Sullivan) or Mr NWO, NWO 2.0 or NWO 3.0 aka Immortal(Eric Bishop). HHH was also humbled quite often when he was then main heel and took many loses to bring guys over or sell WM.
I will gladly admit that HHH unnecessarily buried many people when he was a full time performer though. I just don´t think that he is now in the position where that does not matter much for someone.

...NXT (Triple H only opens the Takeovers, the bookers are basically unseen, and barely anyone knows who they are)
PROGRESS (Jim Smallman is, while a character, only gets himself over in between matches. I doubt he ever put himself over any talent)
New Japan (the last time Gedo and Jedo held any titles in New Japan was in 2006. Afterwards, Gedo was only the manager of Okada...doubt that puts him over as the "top guy")
STARDOM (None of the bookers or officials are on screen characters. One of the owners is only there in a Jack Tunney esque president role)

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Didn't Dreamer use his booking power to put others over in ECW. Hell his title win lasted all of a half hour and he spent more time getting his ass handed to him then he did going over people.

yup, that was pretty spectacular. With the stuff from NJPW this weekend (Not spoiling for those who haven't seen) this might be the best wrestling weekend this year.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
That...may very well have been the single greatest Royal Rumble I've ever seen in my life.
Holy shit, that was amazing. Not just the winner, not just the final two, not just the final four, the entire thing. Not a single wasted spot, not a single wasted moment. Everybody, even the obligatory filler people, had a purpose and did their job. No dead spots, even stuff that normally leads to dead spots, like the Baron Corbin thing, lead right into Elias doing his bit.
You had action, drama, comedy with Heath Slater, followed by Heath Slater redemption, fantastic surprises, new guys not getting buried, Old Man Cena yelling at the crowd, continuity in terms of feuds and recent rivalries/matches and such...
I've said this before, and I'll say it again.
WWE can still make magic. NJPW/Indies/NXT may "get it right" more often, but when WWE gets it right?
They do it better than any company in the business.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I agree that this was a good...REALLY good Rumble
...but, and I want to be fair here, they do it like that because they have less moments of pure goodness...and much...MUCH more moments of pure shit.
I am still taking NXT over main roster any day.
