The fact that Leah actually had fangs made Star appreciate her efforts on her outfit even more. Well, the hero wasn't impressed, but the boy playing the hero was. Whether that would have any effect on the hero's performance was completely another thing though. If anything, it was probably just making the hero more determined to defeat the villainess, rather than running the risk of becoming a victim of her fangs.

That determination only grew larger as Star yanked at the Oni Queen's legs, causing her to get tripped on her back! The boy could see that the girl's act had become interrupted, and surprise had taken over...

What a great hero he was. The match had only just begun, but he had still already managed to tame the cute beast! Now he only had to get her in the figure four...

But was the beast really tamed? Definitely not, not yet at least. Before the hero could properly apply the hold, a kick to his back spelled havoc on his plans. The girl managed to make him let go of her, subsequently starting to scramble herself back up again.

Star turned around, and could see what the girl was up to. But he was the one already up, and it was clear to him that he should be capitalizing on that.

The hero attempted to position himself right next to the villainess as she would be getting up, trying to get a good hold of her arm in the process. That hold could then allow him try Irish whipping the girl towards the ropes, and running after her with the intention of Clotheslining her to the ground as soon as she would be bouncing off of them back towards him!

Starboy was a bit more cunning than she gave him credit for, or perhaps she was just a bit too distracted buying into her own character. His sudden break of their hold to trip her and the near submission move put her a bit on edge. She had already had a run in was a submission artist who had been on the smaller side. It hadn't mattered how much bigger or stronger she had been in that match, she had nearly been choked out.

She hadn't wanted to get herself stuck in a similiar position. How embarrassing would it have been to come out acting all bit and tough to get slapped in the first real move and have been forced to tap. She didn't even want to think about it. Until she knew where his actual strength was, she neared to be more careful when tussling with her opponent.

That had been the hope anyway. He had already gotten back to her by the time she had gotten most of the way up. Her boots especially making her initial rise a far slower process than she was used to. With a hand clapped on her shoulder and a hand grasping at her wrist, she was yanked to her feet and promptly thrown in the direction of the ropes. Despite her few few stumbled steps, she caught her stride and willingly dashed towards the ropes. This was a good opportunity to win back some momentum. Though, as she ran something seemed off. She could hear... was he behind her?

She pivoted on her heel as she neared the ropes, throwing her back into the cables hard. Her eyes widened as they focused in on the charging super hero who had indeed been bearing down on her. By the time she raised her arms to try and counter attack, she had already been derailed by a stiff clothesline. Caught along her collar, Starboy's arm slammed into her body as her legs continued to move with her built momentum, kicking them out from under her. "Guh!" She snapped backwards, hitting the canvas with a loud thud as she lay sprawled out on the mat.

Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge - Page 2 Empty Re: Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge

So, the submission hold attempt had failed. Fine, no submission holds then. Not yet at least. But that was absolutely no problem. Naturally, a great hero like Starboy had other tricks up his sleeve too than just submission holds, and he was determined to make the Oni Queen feel their wrath imminently.

The Clothesline could have been a good start. And as it turned out, it was indeed. The villainess was slow to stand again, exposing her first to be a prime target for getting Irish whipped towards the ropes. Getting that done turned out to be almost too easy for Star, as if the girl was eager to be subjected to his actions... Reason for that remained unknown, and rather unrelevant too, as clearly Leah hadn't expected for the clothesline to come at all, and the girl was downed in an instant.

By the ropes, Star glanced briefly over his shoulder to see the damage the hero had done. Based on how the villainess was sprawled out on the mat, he had probably done quite some.

Cool.

He should stay cool now too. This was a prime opportunity to present himself as a great, skilled and capable hero. But how?

Aerials. He had to try out some aerials. With the girl laid out like that, she was just too good of a target, and Star needed to apply his theoretical knowledge to practice. He had been studying the moves extensively in the past, but training them in practice and actually using them had been a rarer occurrence.

Becoming determined with his plan, the hero started quickly climbing up to the top rope, and without stopping, Star then tried to perform a Moonsault from the top rope onto the downed Oni Queen. That could set a clear tone to the match on who was the triumphant good guy, and who was the sorry scoundrel. Just as it should be...

Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge - Page 2 Empty Re: Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge

Leah groaned softly as she stared up at the ceiling. She had started off so strong with her bad girl act, not it seemed to be falling to pieces. She needed to start getting in some offense or something here. Her red eyes shifted to Starboy looking over her before he suddenly moved away. She blinked, slightly confused as she watched him move to climb the ropes. For a moment she forgot she was in a match, wanting to see what he was going to do next until she remembered he was about to do it to her!

She couldn't help but feel he grossly overestimated how banged up she was if he was trying to land something on her from the top rope. She kept her sanguine eyes locked to him as he reached the top, waiting patiently for just the right moment. As he took flight, she rolled to the side clearing the canvas so rather than splashing down on top of her, there was nothing but empty ring to greet him.

Once he touched down, she would be quick to try and capitalize on what was likely a vulnerable state. She crawled on her hands and knees to his upper body, dropping herself down onto her side next to him. Reaching out, she would try to grab her shoulder and head, trying to yank him over away from the reach of the ropes. Her legs spread and ready, she would try to drag his head between her thighs before wrapping her legs around him. If he wasn't quick, she would easily hook her ankles and cinch in the headscissor, starting to apply a tight squeeze.

Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge - Page 2 Empty Re: Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge

Star's thoughts were divided between two things as he climbed up the ropes. One, going through the technique of the Moonsault, recalling the details on how to execute it well. Two, the way he would be looking like an awesome and invincible hero while doing it right after the clothesline, and impacting the girl's body with all his might.

As it turned out, thoughts spent on the first part were well worth it. His execution of the Moonsault was flawless, a success story of turning theory into practice. His body was perfectly aligned to splash on where Leah was...

Or where Leah should have been. That was why the thoughts spent on the second part turned out to have been nothing more than wishful thinking. His relative lack of experience had caused the hero to make a grossly incorrect assumption of the villainess'es state, forcing his own body to absorb all of the impact from the move. If anything, the aerial move turned out only to make the hero to appear more like a fool, rather than invincible.

Rolling over after the impact to the mat, it was clear that the boy was in a vulnerable state right now. Leah wasted no time to take advantage of that. Before Star could recompose himself at all, the girl was already yanking his body, and Star realized the direction was away from the ropes. Not a good sign at all. And the next thing he knew, he could see a thigh approaching his face...

All Star had time to do was to gulp before the Oni Queen had locked the headscissors tight in place around his head. It was almost as if the villainess had read a guidebook on how to defeat the hero... Getting caught in headscissors was one of Star's weaknesses! He was always sure to valiantly try prying the legs off from around his head, but usually with no results. Usually he just had to endure the squeeze and hope for the opponent to get tired of the move. And while Leah's thighs certainly weren't the thickest and mightiest pair his head had gotten scissored into, based on the power in them, the villainess had not responded to the hero's call-out for no reason.

Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge - Page 2 Empty Re: Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge

While Leah was far from the greatest submission artist AFW had to offer, the ones she knew, she performed well. Starboy’s misfortune with his brazen attempt to catapult himself to an early victory from the top ropes had ultimately been his undoing. She had almost felt bad as she had dragged him between her legs… almost. Once she had wrapped them around his head however and felt the warmth of his cheeks on her thighs that feeling more or less vanished. He had been getting the better of her up until now, it was her turn to have some fun with him.

Rather than just apply a solid stream of pressure, she would allow the hold to loosen ever so slightly before cranking it tight again, working down the heroes energy little by little. It was a bit of a guilty pleasure to feel him squirming, but it played into her role as a villain so she embraced it. Reaching down, she slipped her hand down over the top of his head, playing with his hair as she crushed him between her thighs.

“What’s the matter hero?” She teased with a soft coo. Her sanguine eyes flicked back and forth between the boy between her legs and the ropes. She hadn't moved them too far from them when she rolled him over, but the fact he seemed incapable of actually dragging himself to them as she squeezed him was a bit thrilling. “Are you done already?”

With her free hand, she would try to grab hold on one of his wrists when he attempted to pry himself free, tugging her arm straight to deny him means of escape as well as another tool to crawl for the ropes. She didn't seem as though she intend to let him go anytime soon, wanting to drain as much of that youthful energy out of him as she could manage.

Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge - Page 2 Empty Re: Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge

OK. Maybe, just maybe, the hero had made a gross miscalculation with his Moonsault attempt. Maybe he had been blinded by the prospect of the fame and fortune such a spectacular move could have provided him with. Maybe he had forgotten about all the necessary groundwork that needed to be diligently done first. And the longer he was being trapped in the headscissor hold, the more of those "maybe"s were turning into "probably"s, and "probably"s into "definitely"s.

Well, another day, another lesson. No one could deny that it applied to heroes too. Even the mighty Superman had his struggles, right?

Superman had probably never faced the Oni Queen though. No, it was Starboy's job to bring her down.

But apparently before that could happen, it was his job to suffer in her headscissor hold - and suffer for a good while in it. The villainess showed no signs of getting tired of the hold, instead it seemed that she was just enjoying it. So much that she even started playing with his hair, accompanied by some playful taunting.

For Star, the situation was becoming all the more like an awkward déjà-vu. The situation now was a little too similar to some of his bedroom wrestling tussles with his ex-girlfriend Lena back in Norway, and memories of those were beginning to flood his mind. That was a very much unwelcome thing to happen now that he was supposed to be a great hero bringing a villainess down...

Luckily, the fact that Leah decided to straighten his other arm helped him to regain focus on the relevant. Granted, that was a contradicting thought to have as it actually made his situation worse, but it made him realize he still had his other hand free. And with that he decided to try grabbing hold of the girl's other hand, attempting then to twist it into a nasty wristlock! Hopefully that would help the hero with getting out of the trouble the Oni Queen's powerful thighs had plunged him in...

The Oni Queen had managed to turn things around heavily in her favor. What had been a simple rest hold for her had become possibly the winning move. Given how handily she was dealing with Starboy between her thighs. She made a mental note to try this move out on others as well to see if it turned out to be just as successful on them. For a long while he only squirmed, not really putting up much of a fight. She didn't actually mind, which was a bit odd. Normally she preferred fast matches, but having him trapped like this was pretty fun too. Was he really that debilitated or just playing possum?

She hadn't wanted to take a chance, so she she scooped up one of his arms, pulling it straight to half hug it close. Nestled up against her bosom, she didn't allow him much room to move, capture and holding the limb with no intentions to let it go. She twisted her body a bit, giving the boy between her legs a quick and crushing reminder he was hers now.

“Maybe they should call your Shooting Star Boy, because you’ve already burned out.”
She was proud of that one, turning her beaming smile into a menacing grin for the show of things. As she continued to toy with his hair she felt a sudden sharp pain, her upper body twisting reflexively as she looked down her body to see he was grasping at her arm. She grit her teeth, trying to keep from screaming out as he had already twisted it past the point she could resist the simple but effective hold with only one hand.

She could stop him if she used her other arm, she knew it, but now that he was fighting back, freeing another limb up could prove dangerous as well. Better to disengage, she had done what she needed to do. While Starboy might not be down and out, she had done some serious work on him.

The Oni Queen pulled back, legging Starboy’s capture arm free as her legs parted from around his head. She was quick to try and yank her held arm free, ready to tuck her legs in to try and boot the boy in the head. If he had let her go however, she would allow him a moment of safety from her wrath as she tried to get herself up and back away.

Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge - Page 2 Empty Re: Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge

Star could have almost wished for someone to have reminded the Oni Queen of the unhealthiness of fast food, as the prolonged scissor hold was effectively turning the hero into a quick meal for the beast. It was consuming both his physical and mental energy, and it was becoming obvious to everyone that the AFW arena would not be seeing an outright dominant hero easily defeating the villain tonight. Oni Queen was strong, and Starboy would have to give his all should he desire to tame her tonight.

But was that a surprise for Starboy? Not really. He had expected for a tough rival to arrive. And while the headscissors were draining his energy, he knew that the hold wouldn't be the end of him. Despite the fact that his resistance was inefficient at best for quite some time, the hero finally found a way to free himself of his warm and feminine prison. That was especially good news, as the girl was ready to denounce the hero as just a shooting star already...

Just like that, the Oni Queen suddenly released her holds. The wristlock was apparently painful, and the girl was eager to yank her hand free. For a moment, Star pondered whether he should try to keep hold of it - but quickly decided against doing so. Gaining some distance to his foe now seemed like the sensible thing to do, not only to get some recovery time from the headscissor hold, but to get an opportunity to form some new plans too.

Rolling around a few times away from the girl, Star first got up to his all fours to see what the villainess was up to. Nailing his eyes on her with a grim face, the hero was trying to convey an image of a dangerous and determined opponent. And hide his panting caused by the drained energy as well as possible...

Provided that the Oni Queen was not already attacking him, Star began to slowly get back up again. The wristlock had been so successful, that maybe submission holds were her weakness... That suited the hero just fine, as he was contemplating his options while he would be starting to circle around the villainess.

Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge - Page 2 Empty Re: Starboy vs Leah Shaw - The Hero's Challenge

The Oni Queen had admittedly got a bit carried away with squeezing the life out of Starboy. It wasn't every day she was able to bring someone under such commanding control as that and she was having a bit to much fun with her new found power. She could still feel a bit of the warmth from his face between her legs, a lingering reminder.

She felt he earned a small breather, she had him down for quite awhile after all. She rubbed her wrist, rolling the joint a bit. If she hadn't had her gauntlets on be might have been able to slip her hand free without having to break the hold. As it stood, they provided a pretty substantial surface to grip which hadn't helped.

The Oni Queen crimson eyes locked to the noble hero’s, in true dramatic fashion she began to circle him as well. She was hunched low in a visible stance of aggression. Arms at her side, her fingers flexed as she eyed him like her prey. While she was all for dynamic a d theming, this was a competitive match after all. She wasn't going to give him much room to breath, not after he had shown how good he could be once he got going.

She flashed a fanged smirk.“It's not too late to join me. All you need to do is lay yourself down on your back. Three seconds and it will all be over…” It was an offer only made for the little roleplay she had going. If he for some reason suddenly took her up on the offer she would have been incredibly disappointed. He had held strong to his gimmick this far though, so she held firm to the belief he wouldn't cave now.

If and when he refused her, she would charge with a loud snarl. Arms raised high, she laced her fingers together to form a bludgeon of fists. In one violent arc she swung her arms down in a might ace handle smash, looking to send the hero to his knees. It was time to start throwing out some bigger more exciting moves to give the crowd a show, all she needed to do was to set him up.
