Reunions

Alaina had just finished changing in the gym locker room, opting for basic sparring attire today. She was visiting her old friend Belinda in the gym, hell bent on putting one half of the tag champs through the ringer. The training would benefit both women and right now Alaina was on a hot streak.

Clad in all white attire the Amazon was wearing briefs, a sports bra, kneepads and boots as she made her way over to the practice ring. She knew Belinda wouldn't be long, and she leaned against the ropes waiting patiently.

It had been a while since Belinda had done a bit of sparring and she actually hadn't gotten a chance to spar with her rival Alaina Sanders before, so when she got the call about doing so, she was actually pretty excited. She stepped out of the locker room, one half of the Tag Team Champions as she would make towards the sparring ring.

Dressed in a two piece outfit of tight fitting black gym shorts, blue sports bra, a pair of boots and elbow pads. She made her way towards the practice ring and would climb in, looking Alaina up and down for a moment. " Been quite a while, Alaina. Heard you managed to beat my sister. Told you you could do it." Belinda said with a friendly smile as she walked up towards her rival.

Alaina nodded and smiled as she saw Belinda approach. "Yeah it was intense. No one in the crowd acted like I had a chance, hopefully someone in the office took notice when it comes time for PPV matches and the like." Alaina said with a shrug. "You are still part of the tag champs though, you two have had quite a run going! Has anyone even come close to taking those titles from you guys?" Alaina asked, trying to shift gears and see what was new with Belinda in her career. Alaina had managed to follow along knowing that they defended the belts but she hadn't sat down to watch each match which she regret.

Belinda would shrug her shoulders a little. " No doubt they should." The Swede said with a grin on her face, when Alaina changed the conversation to focus on her though, Belinda would let out a little sigh. " You're giving us too much praise. All the matches we've had so far in the tag scene have been tough. It's full of skilled competitors after all." Belinda said as she would nod her head.

" Honestly, I'm surprised you haven't challenged us. I heard you were in a new tag team, with that Irish girl? Peggy was her name right?" The Swede would ask as she would place her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, Peggy took over for Julia but we just aren't there yet. She has a lot of work to do before she is in any sort of title match." Alaina said with a shrug as she began to stretch. "Once she becomes more consistent and stops making bonehead mistakes in the ring then we'll re-evaluate where we are and see what happens."

Alaina leaned against the ropes, looking more or less ready to start although Belinda did leave her thinking about her future with Peggy. She tried so hard with Peggy but it seemed as if Peggys training would frequently plateau. Did she hit a ceiling? Alaina knew with her talent she could go far but she still needed to become more ring smart. Trying to push that aside for now Alaina had to focus on Belinda for the time being.

Belinda would nod her head as she looked on at Alaina, she listened to her talk about Peggy and how she wasn't sure about a few things. The blond would place a hand on her hip and then smile towards her.

" Well, maybe I'll take her on. I might be able to figure out what's bugging her." Belinda let out as she would step up to the center of the ring, bouncing a bit on her feet as she would get ready for the spar.

"Maybe? I feel like you are out of her league though but maybe I've been so focused on what she needs to improve that I lose sight of the areas she is good at." Alaina said as the gears in her mind turned. Before long she was in the middle of the ring bouncing around as she motioned for the spar to begin! Alaina circled Belinda and tried to kick things off by moving in to grab hold of Belinda's arm, trying to put her in a hammerlock!

Belinda would let out a little sigh at Alaina's words. It might be true, but one wouldn't find out if they didn't try. Belinda changed gears as well though, stepping up and ready to rumble she watched Alaina move towards her.

They circles each other for a few seconds before her rival reached forward for her arm, snatching it and then pulling it up in behind the blond's back. Locking her in a quick hammerlock hold. " Gkh..." Belinda grunted out as she would look over her shoulder at her taller rival, slapping her caught arm's shoulder as she tried to figure out a way out of this.

She'd try and stomp down on Alaina's foot, looking to distract her long enough to hopefully slip out of the hammerlock and instead twist around Alaina to try and wrap her arms around her waist and lock in a tight waist lock. Pushing her front against Alaina's powerful back.

Alaina had Belinda until a sharp pain erupted in her foot! While Alaina hobbled and felt Belinda get behind her, grabbing her around the waist. Alaina knew Belinda was pressed up against her back and would life her up soon, which Alaina could not allow. She swung her elbow back, twisting her body as she aimed to crack Belinda in the head hard enough to daze her before reaching down to grab hold of Belinda's wrists pulling them apart to escape her grasp!

Belinda slipped in behind Alaina's frame and wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her into a waistlock where she would put a firm squeeze on that waist from behind.

Though it looked as if Alaina didn't want her to pull off anything else, as she would throw her elbow back into Belinda's head, causing her to grunt out, then she felt those arms of Alaina grab at her wrists to start to pull them apart. Belinda knew she couldn't do a suplex now, she grunted and struggled against her rival.

She knew she would have to try something else, looking to raise her right foot and stomp it down against the back of Alaina's right knee, trying to force the Amazon down onto one knee. Hoping to pull her arms free next and then try and wrap them around her rival's head and neck, looking to lock in a sleeper hold!
