Thunder and Hurricanes: Makie Akamatsu vs Blue Thunder Mask

Makie's back felt like it was going to snap in two as her body was elevated above the mat, arched painfully over BTM's knees as he torqued her further in his bow and arrow hold. Her body now felt like it was straining against her red leotard as it was stretched, and her breathing felt tight as BTM pulled down on her chin. All the same, she shot one elbow back, then another, and then a third, each blow slamming against the solid mass of BTM's body. And, little by little, she felt his grip weaken.

That was all she needed to roll off of his grip and crash down against BTM, lying across his muscular chest. In an instant, she was scissoring one of his arms, while grabbing the other by the wrist and trying to force it behind his back. BTM didn't make the job easy for her, though: even with both her arms grabbing his wrist, BTM strained against her, preventing her from forcing his arm all the way back. All the while, his body twisted and writhed under hers: with her legs scissoring his leg, Makie wasn't going anywhere, but all the same, the way BTM's muscular chest rubbed up against hers did cause her face to redden slightly.

And then, suddenly, BTM kicked out sharply. This time, it was enough to fling Makie off of his knees and flop facedown to the mat. She groaned as she crashed onto her front, and slowly rolled up to her hands and knees, one hand clutching her still-sore back as she tried to get up to her feet in time to face BTM again...

From the mat, he wasn't going to be able to overpower Makie, that much he knew. Her legs might as well have been made of steel with how they were clamped down on his arm, even the way she had wrapped them around the limb had been slick with how she'd managed to trap it fully extended. While perhaps the crowd couldn't appreciate it, Blue Thunder Mask as an incredibly well versed submissionist was impressed. It could have been that he was still a bit rusty with his time away, but credit where it was due, she had got him in a pretty bad predicament all because he dropped his guard. That was good ring sense.

Had it been most anyone else, he was almost certain she could have locked in a good chicken wing hold here and finished a match against someone her size. Lucky for him though, he was an accomplished technical wrestler with a bit of power packed into his frame so he was afforded a small luxury of being able to hold her at bay, for a time at least. If he couldn't break free though she would eventually wear him down. That wouldn't do.

Thankfully after a hard buck he managed to throw his wily opponent, craning his head to watch her tumble, noting how close they were. Sitting himself up, he brought himself up to one knee and pivoted to face her to make sure she wouldn't get the jump on him. She was slow to rise, his bow and arrow likely having done exactly what it meant to do. Shoving his palms to the mat he tucked his legs beneath him, rising to his feet with a soft hiss. The throbbing in his thigh was intense after taking those elbow shots. He had been put through worse though, had to push through the pain.

It would have been relatively easy to just trudge over to Makie as she was collecting herself to catch her off guard with a grapple. He might even be able to manage a large spectacle move to immediately throw her into a standing submission. It was only a brief consideration before the masked hero shook his head. She deserved better as did the crowd watching. While he refused to ever hold himself back to avoid cheating his opponents real competition, he was all for making things more sporting by putting on a better show for the fans while keeping things rolling.

Rather than charging straight for Makie, he turned and moved towards the ropes taking a few long strides, mindful of his legs. He threw his back into the ropes at the last second, his weight making the cables go taut. With a shake of the ring he came charging off with a head of steam to charge Makie down. She had the time to get up but she’d need more than that here. Closing fast he reared back with an arm, telegraphing as though he was about to lariat her… but he had felt that high kick earlier, expected a counter strike here, so he dipped himself low and to the side, trying to avoid such a thing. If he managed to slip by, he would plant a foot and pivot, trying to glide behind her like some sort of phantom, throwing out his arms to grab her around the waist and snap her backwards into a German suplex.

Makie huffed for breath as she got up to her hands and knees again, willing her body to move again after that debilitating hold. It was official, BTM knew his submission holds-- that bow and arrow hold had been expertly applied, and if Makie hadn't managed an escape, she probably would have been forced to tap. Opposite her, she was conscious of how BTM was already getting back to his feet, and grimaced, pushing her hurting body to get back up to her feet, just as she heard footfalls. BTM was moving, bouncing off the ropes, rebounding towards her even as she staggered upright.

He raised an arm for a lariat, and Makie immediately ducked, instinct kicking in as she moved to evade the blow and run across the ropes to rebound at him with a drop kick. It was only as she was midway through this movement that she realized it had been a feint: BTM's arms were suddenly around her, circling her waist in preparation for what had to be a German suplex.

Gasping in surprise, Makie would twist her body shoot an elbow back, hoping to hit the side of BTM's head. If it managed to stun BTM enough to stop or even slow the suplex, then Makie would follow up by grabbing the back of BTM's head and drop down, hoping to judo toss BTM hard onto his back. Otherwise, she would be unable to stop BTM from lifting her back and slamming her hard against the canvas....

Those few moments as he needed were most important, every muscle tick every movement counted. He had to stay sharp and focus. Special attention was made to her legs, they were long, had reach and he didn't want to take another unprotected blow like earlier. They shuffled, not hearing up for a kick, moving to avoid. His feigning lariat seemingly unneeded but a precaution he wouldn't have done any other way. She was fast but he had momentum on his side, circling her fast, clamping his strong arms around her waist . He planted his legs, bending at the knee to prepare to lift her up into a German suplex.

A sudden elbow came back hard, snapping his head to the side. Eyes blinking as his vision was dotted with momentary spots from the jarring impact, reigniting the pounding headache that had only just started to subside. That momentary stupor was all it took for Makie to seize the opportunity and reach back, hooking and arm around his head. Body lurching forward into his opponent he let out a soft grunt as she leveraged her back to lift his weight off the mat and send him flipping to the canvas. He landed with a hard crash and a bounce, arching his back at the numbing sting that shot up his spine.

Makie was bracing for the heavy impact to come, even as her elbow shot back. She felt it connected, solidly, with a masked face, and heart a grunt...and then the grip around her slackened. Her heart leapt: a part of her hadn't even expected that to work. She didn't allow herself the time to be amazed or impressed with herself, though: she followed through with her plan, her hands grabbing the back of BTM's head and dropping down, flipping him down hard onto his back. Her tall masked opponent crashed down hard, arching his back at the heavy impact.

She didn't stop to congratulate herself. Leaping up to her feet, she ran to the ropes and rebounded, not wanting to give BTM the time to recover. As she came running right back at him, she dropped into a running roll, aiming to come crashing down back-first across BTM's chest while he was still stunned from the earlier flip...

The elbow to the side of the head had been a nasty little surprise, one that in retrospect he should have assumed would come. He had already made a mental note of her striking capabilities, it would make sense she’d try to lash out rather than just lock down his attempt to suplex her. Her methods were proven that much more effective as he found himself dragged over top of her and thrown to the mat. It hadn’t been a good landing. His fault mostly, still finding some of his reflexes dulled from his time away.

He twisted with a soft groan, biting down hard to manage the temporary thrum of pain. Peering up from the floor, he found his vision partially obstructed. His mask had shifted, part of it slightly in the way of his eye. Reaching up he gave it a firm tug, twisting it back into place. Just as he started to sit himself up, the crowd swelled to life around him and a blur of motion caught the corner of his eyes. Flinching, he turned his head at the last moment just as Makie came cannon balling over top of him, crashing across his chest to slam him back to the mat. He had the good sense to tuck his chin at the shock, keeping it from whipping back into the canvas.

“Geez…” He wheezed through grit teeth, most of the air having been knocked out of him from her weight compressing his chest. He was vulnerable now though, not in a very good position. He needed to buy some time. Blue Thunder mask threw up an arm and a leg, rolling himself roughly to the side, trying to catch Makie beneath her armpits with both his limbs to tumble her over  the opposite way she had come down across him, trying to roll her up and onto her shoulders for a quick pinfall attempt. He didn’t expect it would work, but it could hopefully cut down her momentum and give him a chance to get up.

Makie's heart raced as she bounced off the ropes, before leaping forwards to slam her body down across Blue Thunder Mask's. The attack worked beautifully: her back slammed down across BTM's bare chest, and she felt his body tense and the air exhale from his lungs as he caught the full brunt of the blow. After taking some early punishment from BTM and his submission holds, it now felt nice to be striking back against him.

She had thought that that hit would be enough to keep BTM down. In that respect, she was terribly wrong.

"Wa--?!" she gasped as her arms were suddenly hooked by BTM's arm and leg. The next thing she knew, she was rolled onto her back, with BTM twisting sideways, trying to fold her up in a sneaky pin! Makie stared in disbelief even as the ref began the countdown.

"ONE..."

Makie kicked out at that moment, getting her shoulders up, doing so with enough force that her body flipped backwards. If that worked, then she would try to bring her leg slamming down across BTM's masked face, hoping to stun him...and if THAT worked, then she would try to grab a hold of his wrist, latching her legs aroung his arm and locking them behind his shoulder in an armbar submission!

Only a one count, but no real surprise there. He didn't have the leverage to actually pin Makie down here, mostly just making use of her own weight against her. That was fine. Wrestling was more than being physically impactful, sometimes implanting mental seeds could work wonders for catching your opponent off guard. She was aware he might try something like that again if she was careless, perhaps instilling in her a healthy bit of paranoia he could work with later. For now, he had other things to think about, mainly the two boots crashing back down on top of him. The escape had been predicted but her immediately returning to offense took him off guard and had him paying for it as he was slammed into the mat again just as he started to push himself up.

Unlike her first try to manipulate his arm, she found it far easier to pull his arm back in her grasp while he was reeling, capturing his arm fully between her legs. Blue Thunder Mask let out a wish groan, muscles tensing as his arm was twerked against the grain. Face down on the mat, not a prime place to be but it had the saving grimace of being a less than optimal position for an armbar to be applied. While how Makie could twist and pull at him was limited, that didn't make it any less effective if he let her have her way with him. He supposed he should have been thankful that she had t been going after his bum leg those whole time but the burning in his arm had a way of keeping his mind focused on escape instead.

As he twisted to rise he felt her ankles locked behind her shoulder pads, applying weight to keep him down. Pressing his forehead to the canvas he grit his teeth, soldiering through the pain shooting through his arm as his opponent worked the hold, putting his arm through the wringer. Slowly he gathered his legs underneath himself and planted his free palm, laboring to rise to his hand and knees and survey the situation. Pretty far from the ropes. Not great. He tried to pull his arm free… no chance, it didn't even budge with how she had the hold applied. He wasn't desperate enough yet to try to brute force his way out, choosing to wisely drag the two of them towards the edge of the ring. Even at an awkward tilt thanks to Makie clinging to his arm, the three points of contact he had gave him ample control and ability to make the trip, reaching out to grasp for the ropes to obtain a break.

BTM's sneaky rollup pin had caught Makie by surprise, and after the way she had already taken some punishment from her male opponent, she nearly didn't have the energy to kick out. Nearly. Battered as she was, though, she was also itching to get even, and she was happy to do so by stretching BTM's arm to the breaking point between her legs.

She held her breath, arching her body slightly as she tried to torque the hold tighter. She heard BTM groaning in pain as his arm was hyperextended, though to his credit, the masked wrestler was doing a good job of not crying out. Instead, slowly but surely, she felt BTM begin to drag them towards the ropes, dragging Makie behind him like a weight as he did so, causing her lycra-cladd butt to slide against the mat even as she wrenched at his arm.

After what must have been several agonizing seconds, BTM finally managed to grab a hold of the bottom rope. Unwinding her legs from around his arm, Makie slid up to her feet and used her grip on BTM's arm to pull him back to his feet. She pushed his back against the ropes and leaned in against him. For a brief few seconds, there was a thrilling feeling of body to body contact as her chest pushed against his, her face coming a hairs breadth away from his neck...

And then Makie spun, whipping BTM across the ring before running up to follow up after him, leaping up and aiming to ensnare her legs around his head and flip him head over heels, aiming to land perched on his chest in a pin attempt!

It was both a blessing and a curse Makie's focus had been placed squarely on keeping her hold as vicious as possible. Fingers curling to claw at the canvas, boot heels digging into the mat and all his muscle being used to drag the two along. Was an obstacle, but hardly insurmountable as he hauled her behind with tugs of his tortured arm. He tried his hardest to fight the twist and twerk of his arm but his efforts did little more that make his captor work a bit harder to get the desired effect. When he finally had gotten them to the edge of the ring he planted a foot and stretched the last bit, curling two fingers barely around the role for a break.

Makie didn't milk a hold, letting her legs uncoil and his aching muscle fibers relax as tension was released. He could feel the burning ache of something that hurt now but would be far worse come tomorrow, something he didn't miss. While he had been content to stay down for a moment and nurse his arm, when he attempted to draw it back he found her still holding on, tugging at him to glad him to his feet. He let out a hiss through his teeth, wincing as he grasped from bottom to middle rope, using that to help gather himself up to his feet to spare his arm any more manhandling.

No sooner had he found his footing than Makie was pushing up against him, pressing him up against the ropes. The cables strained under both their weight as he leaned forward into her, his chest still marked and red from their chop contest but still solid as her body compressed against him. Head hung, blue hair in his eyes he let out a heavy huff, his warm breath tickling at Makie's face as the two pushed into the ropes. When she broke away and dragged him by the arm, he didn't fight it, not wanting to inflict any more damage on his already wounded limb. His strides were slightly sluggish as he crossed the canvas, still tapped from his arduous crawl to the ropes but his mind was still sharp and awake.

Pivoting on his boot heel he hit the ropes with his back, sinking even deeper into them than the two had done moments ago. The turnbuckle creaked under his weight and force before coming back to spring him forward towards Makie. His steps thundered across the mat as they came to a clash. At the very last moments his strides had increased, subtle but purposely, meeting the leaping Makie more forceful than she may have anticipated. As her legs wrapped around his head, his cheeks were smooshed between her thighs and visioned darkened from being stuck between her legs.

But something went wrong. When Makie went to throw her weight backwards, she met stiff resistance. A palm had been thrust up to lodge into her back to deadlock her in, trapping her perched on top of his shoulders. His fingers blindly and quickly felt around, finding the edge of her top from behind and curled over its lip, using that to hold her steady. They hadn't stopped moving forward and that was something he had intended to use. Blue Thunder Mask kicked off the canvas, throwing his upper body forward, trying to drag Makie backwards by her too to send her smashing down into the canvas with a sitout powerbomb, lurching into the move to try and wedge her into the mat with his weight to go for another pinning situation.
