Psymon Derby vs Aiden Bolt - Go With The Flow

["Man... How the hell did I get here...?"]


Psymon was used to taking risks- Hell, he lives for it, hucking himself off crazy drops, with or without a skateboard. That's his bread and butter. But this... Moving to a whole different country, not even knowing how to speak the language, to become a professional wrestler out of absolutely nowhere? Well...


It felt a bit different. Juuuust a bit.

Well, you're here now man, his brain told him matter-of-factly, like that'd calm him down. Just go with the flow.


Psymon took a deep breath and leaned back against the wall- He was sitting on a folding chair in the locker room, wearing just his way-too-tight (but self-proclaimed " bitchin' ") trunks and a pair of black Vans, feeling far more like some dweeb in his locker room than a macho wrestler. He ran a hand through his wild pink mane and impatiently tapped his foot, waiting for his cue to head on out to the stage for his debut...

“Another day, another match!

Aiden actually felt cheerful for once, taking a deep breath before entering the locker room. Two matches under his belt and he felt pretty damn good about it! AFW seemed like fun place and filled with fun people. Speaking of which, he never truly got to introduce himself to Alex, maybe after this one he could.

Aiden’s golden eyes would be caught on something, a taller wrestler sitting back on a folding chair, given his closeness to the entrance, Aiden deduced that he must have been his opponent! Not wanting to look like an ass, he walked over and greeted him. Holding out a hand for him to shake.

“The name’s Alex- I mean Aiden Rhys wait no- I mea- Agh, forget it. Nice to meet a new opponent!”

Aiden said through a wry smile, already messing up his name twice with two wrestlers he seemed to be fond of. Maybe romance scrambled his brain more than it already was.

Psymon froze slightly as his thoughts were pierced through by a... Well to be honest, a super awkward introduction. He peeked an eye open to see who it was, and was met by a new face- And a cute one at that.


He softly chuckled and reached out his hand to shake Aiden's, and as he talked the other boy might notice flashes of razor sharp teeth

"Hey Alex or Aiden. Nice to meetcha- Name's Psymon, Psymon Derby. Or at least, y'know, that's my wrestling name." He offered a casual shrug at that last tidbit. "So you're who they booked me against?"

Aiden just simply chuckled. It was nice meeting another newbie to the company like him. All the other ones just choked him out with their thighs and dropped him on his head but it was nice to meet them regardless. But still a nice feeling regardless. He enthusiastically shook Psymon’s hand. Examining him through his brilliant eyes of his. Noticing his slightly sharp teeth. A little mesmerized by them but pulling back to stare back at him and grin.

“Uh-huh yep! Hope we can make a good match out there!”

Aiden cheerfully said, still grinning at him. As they were still waiting for either of them to be called up to the ring. Aiden seemed to have a good feeling about the match ahead.

"Hell yeah man, I'm sure we will. Don't hold back on me yeah? I wanna see your best!"


He gave a toothy grin at that, fully displaying his shark-like teeth now. Between that and his hot pink hair, it gave a striking first impression- Either good or bad.


And all the while he shook Aiden's hand, staring into his bright yellow eyes.

"Hah! No doubt!"

Aiden grinned back at him, his eyebrow slightly raised eyebrow at the toothy grin but nothing he didn't mind. He may have looked like a heel but he seemed way too friendly for that to be true.

"Well, maybe after this we could get a bite to get to know each other afterwards? Well that is if i don't go too hard on you. Heh."

Aiden wasn't no stranger to friendly yet competitive banter, he loved the challenge in fact, he quite literally lived for it. Psymon seemed to be no slouch in physique, it wouldn't hurt to assume he was no slouch in the ring. Regardless, Aiden wasn't going to hold back and neither was he, so if he wanted a win, he was going to have to fight sharp tooth and nail for it!

"Heh- Hey, that sounds great to me. Matter of fact..."

There was a small glimmer in Psymon's eye that Aiden caught, and a very subtle shift in his smile. It still held a friendly demeanor, but there was a small twinge of... Ambition? Cockiness?

"How 'bout we make things fun? Loser pays for the food." Ah, there it is, a wager- Seems Psymon enjoys raising the stakes a little bit. Either that or he really likes the idea of free food.

"Loser pays eh?"

Aiden said with an raised eyebrow. He had his doubts about accepting this challenge. And his wallet wasn't going to be hurting if he did lose. Placing a hand on his chin, cupping it as if he was in deep thought. After a moment, he accepted the newcomer's challenge with open arms!

"You're on!"

He beamed, his smile reaching from ear to ear. That was until he was tapped on the shoulder by the match coordinator. It seemed that he was up first. Giving Psymon a two-fingered salute. Before leaving to get prepared for his match.

Psymon let out a soft chuckle at Aiden's enthused response. "Alright, we got a deal!" He didn't realize it, but the tension in his body seemed to melt away as the two of them chat...

Only for it to come rushing back as the match coordinator tells Aiden it's time to go. He put on a brave smile and gave a small wave as his opponent walks away... Only to exhale and lean back against the wall as he looks up at the ceiling, trying to mentally prepare himself all over again.

Well hey, at least he'll get a nice meal out of all this. Maybe even for free, too.

Once Aiden was behind the entrance ramp, he awaited for his theme to come up on for this match, when he heard the positive reception it got through the crowd, the red-head smiled from ear-to-ear, they loved him! They really did! He bobbed his head to the sound of his own theme, even muttering some of the lyrics to himself as a way to hype himself up as he prepared himself for what he was going to do next when he came out the entrance ramp, grinning at the crowd and waving at them!

Aiden’s theme:

He then bolted to the ring in a full-on sprint, running down the entrance ramp, gaining speed as he got closer and closer to the ring until suddenly….he jumped! Leaping up in impressive fashion jumping past the middle rope and rolling to a perfect halt! The crowd went wild once more! He still grinned from ear-to-ear at the pop of his arrival at AFW again. Aiden reveled in this praise for a while, standing on top of the middle of the ropes, shouting out to the people in attendance once his own titantron ended!

”GOOD EVENING KYOTOOOOOO!!!!”
