Masako Sakamoto's determination (Open)

Masako was taken down by the bigger girl and cringed at the impact of the mat. She put up her guard and threw a few punches not knowing what else to do.

"I'm not the greatest on the ground but, I'll have to learn sometime...." Masako said.

"Well now is the best the time!" Sayuki shouted, blocking Masako's punches with her her left arm while her right arm trailed down Masako's leg, "I hope you know how to take a submission..." Sayuki mumbled as she tried to hook Masako's heel to twist it and at the same time tried to stand to place more pressure on the heel and have more leverage to work with. Though Sayuki knew that this wasn't a real match, so she wasn't trying to tear off Masako's foot but she would still try maintain an uncomfortable hold on the karate girl, if this had succeed.

"OOWW! OWW!" Masako's face was flushed red, "Let me go!"

She would be sprawling desperatly to freee herself. The pain on her ankle was almost unbearable to her. Masako would strike out at Sayuki with her other leg, in an attempt to free herself from the hold.

"Oh come on! I'm not even trying!" Sayuki angrily shouted, a little frustrated with her training partner's inability to take a 'light hold' in her view. Sayuki held on to Masako's leg as the smaller girl tried to sprawl, inadvertently wrenching her ankle a bit before Masako's other leg slammed into Sayuki's shoulder in an attempt to escape, 'At least she knows how to fight back in this hold. Though that's not impressive.' Sayuki thought frustratingly as she released the girl, backing off to allow her to get back to her feet and continue this practice bout, though if this kept up Sayuki frustration would continue to build.

Masako was incredibly inexpierenced in fighting she had her first fight a few weeks ago in the ring and had 2 weeks of training. It wasn't suprising to her that sayuki thought of her as a weak fighter, but, it still hurt though. She got into the stance and tightemed up the guard on her fists.

"Sorry, I'll try not to endure it more next time" Masako said, knowing that she had let her go out of pity.

Masako would throw a barrage of karate punches to attempt to fing an opening and begin a chain punch attack.

"Tch." Sayuki scoffed as she evaded Masako's punches by backing up and sometimes smacked the karate punches away with her hands, but she then found herself with her back to the ropes and fell victim to Masako's hard hits to her torso area. 'Dammit! I don't care what she's says! Her punches hurt like hell!' Sayuki thought as she quickly devised a way to try and force Masako off of her and try to bring her down to the mat, where it was her advantage. Sayuki would wait until Masako's next punch connected and would immediately try to respond with a swift leg kick that would hopefully weaken Masako's base.

Masako took the kick, but, the horse stance itself was used to maintain balance. It's used for begginer's to be able to take and absorb blows and maintain balance but, her base was indeed weakened but, not to the point where it was going to make her fall. The kawaii prepared for what looked like a roundhouse but, because she wasn't expierenced or taught how to perform one, it was feint as she stepped in making her snap kick more devestating. she would plunge her leg into Sayuki's soft belly and back away not wanting to get caught. If succesful, she would exhale and reinforce her stance.

Sayuki managed to get her kick in and got to solid standing base in time to see Masako going for a round house kick and Sayuki prepared to block either with a mid guard or a high guard depending on how high Masako could kick. She never thought of the kick being a feint so the snap kick that plowed into her stomach, falling back unto the ropes clutching her stomach. 'Dammit! I can't let her get the better of me!' Sayuki angrily thought, being beaten with kicks was so embarrassing especially by a kawaii of all people. Deciding that play time was over, Sayuki snapped all of her body weight into the ropes to spring off it and performed a bicycle kick aiming straight for Masako's pretty little face. She'd hoped that snapping off of the ropes would catch Masako off guard enough to plant her foot into Masako's face.

Masako was floored instantly as the bigger girl floored her with a bicycle kick, she would roll back on her feet and get back into her stance. Spending less time on the mat and more time on her feet was the way to go for her. Her face redend with the indent of Sayuki's kick,

"Ow...that hurt alot...Sempai..." Masako said

"You said you wanted full contact, just be glad I didn't kick your head off. Besides you weren't really holding back on your kick." referring to Masako's snap kick to the gut, although Sayuki felt worst, it was pretty forceful. She thought that Masako was in a zone where she hit her partner and wouldn't be hit hard in response, if that was the case than Sayuki wanted to rip Masako right out of that comfort zone. And if Masako was struck in response during her training, then her usual partner didn't hit hard enough. Being the person she was, Sayuki was rather irritated of being bested in striking, so she wanted to prove a point of how she can come at the karate girl... and she wanted to kick her in the face for the hell of it.
