The Feathers and the Lockharts: Making it up to them

Black Feather smiled to Linear and Leila. "Glad to hear, I'll also be helping out if you need me."

White Feather put her hand on Lily's shoulder and said, "How can I not forgive you, Lily? What you did earlier was for a reason, but you don't have to be left out again. You're family to us now, and that will never change." She gave a smile to Lily to reassure her that her words are true.

"Your kind of accepting for someone who just caught up in a strange event." Linear shrugged in bed. "By the way, got something for us to drink?" He asked.

"Thanks, and once again I'm sorry." Lily looked down on the ground.

"Lily used to be friends with us back before bro got into the accident." Leila told them.

Black Feather pulled out the canteen and cups for Linear and Leila. "All here, Linear! Help yourself!"

White Feather looked to Leila. "Oh? What was the reason for her sudden change after that accident occured? You guys seemed to be going well as friends from the start."

"Thanks..." Linear accepted it readily before drinking it.

"Lily, used to be our friend, until in high school after my brother got into the accident, then afterwards she kind of got lonely, as me, big bro and big sis were to busy paying attention to her, and so she switched to the wrong company." Leila explained.

"Forgive me..." Lilybowed.

White Feather nodded. "Now, I see..." She then turned to White Feather. "Lily, we've already forgiven you, God's already forgiven you...now I want to ask you...do you want to be friends with the Lockharts again?"

"Yes..." She looked away. "Although as for AFW, my reasons for joining are my own." She softly muttered.

Leila seeing her old friend in a bit of a pinch, decided to help her. "If Lily says she doesn't want to talk about it, then's it's all right. Although she'll need some training first, you should start off with the basics first. My guess is try some of the instructors there, they maybe arrogant, but they know their stuff." She adviced her friend.

"Hope you guys don't mind looking after Lily as well." Linear asked as he put away his drink for a moment.

White Feather smiled. "We never even asked her about her reasons for joining. If it's her own business, then so be it."

Black Feather replied, "No, we don't mind looking after Lily at all. She's family remember?"

"Thank you..." Lily looked away. "And I want to say sorry again for the nasty first impression I gave you just now." She apologized.

Linear simply kept quiet as he watched the scene unfold before him.

Leila on the hand was humming to herself as she watched her brother's reaction.

White Feather smiled, this girl was very humble now. "And I'm hoping that we'll meet again when we train you up for the big time."

"She has to start at the basics first before she can train with you. I think Aerial can teach her though.." Linear reminded her from his bed.

"Aren't you going to teach her big bro?" Leila asked.

"Heck no, I'm already feminine looking enough for a male, if I get involved in AFW, I'll be a laughing stock for the rest of my life." He answered.
