Caged Combat - Kaya vs Midori

Strength and power were definitely amongst Midori's greatest assets. Therefore she would simply keep those powerful brown legs of her secured around Kaya's waist, squeezing for all she got while trying to sue them to turn Kaya over.

At the same time Midori's hands would continue to try and pull at Kaya's front for leverage though at one point she would try to bring one hand back and smash it across Kaya's face to try and give that extra push.

Kaya's face twisted with pain as Midori's legs continued to squeeze the air out of her and made it hard for her to keep the control she had in preventing the flip over. But when Kaya was punched across the face, it was enough to dazzle her enough for her arms to lose control for a split second and that was enough for Midori to roll her over. However in an attempt to prevent Midori from gaining the mount, Kaya would wrap her arms around Midori's head and pulled it close, trying not to let Midori push herself up and keeping her close to her body.

Because Midori had rattled Kaya with that one punch she was able to get her over on her back. Then Kaya shot her hands up to try and grab for her neck. Midori however would get her own arms up to block the attempt. Due to Kaya's strength however, they were now in another deadlock, Midori attempting to sue her elbows to push back Kaya's hands that were try to grasp for ehr head. Midori was now forced to concentrate solely on the action of pushing back Kaya's intended grapple.

Would Midori be able to finally shrug off the grip enough to start unloading punches down on Kaya's face or would Kaya see an opening soon enough as Midori tried to fend off her grapple?

Kaya struggled to keep Midori's arms at bay to prevent her face from turning mush as she would try harder to close her arms around Midori's head. However she knew that she couldn't keep this up forever and there was much better ways to escape from a mount as she would plant her feet into the mat and thrust her hips up, trying to tip Midori to her side, where neither of them would have a clear advantage over the other or force them back to their feet should Midori decide to release her.

Kaya would be able to force Midori off her with this thrust. Midori rolled away and got up to one knee, facing Kaya defensively. She would then continue to stand slowly and in the process probably give Kaya the time she needed to get up herself. This time Midori would not rush in and would circle her with arms up as if about to engage in a striking contest.

After getting Midori off of her, Kaya would spin around to a knee, smirking at her opponent. She was having fun against a tough opponent like this as she got to her feet with her hands high and ready for a brawl as she would then slowly advance on her, not wanting a fist to the face for a unneeded charge. When she would get in close enough, Kaya would then go for a quick left jab, followed by a second left jab, testing the waters of Midori's defenses.

MIdori would be able to use her palm to deflect Kaya's first jab grabbing onto her fist as if she intended to do something....but then the secnd jab got her right in the chin cocking her head back and perhaps rattling her enough for Kaya to perhaps go for some follow ups.

After landing the second jab on Midori's face, Kaya would then follow up with a right straight aimed directly at Midori's face, with clear intentions of leaving some hurt on Midori as she would then try to finish off with an left uppercut to the stomach.

The second blow to the face rocked her and the uppercut to the stomach would actually cause Midori to cry out and drop to one knee squeezing her gut in pain.

Her striking skills are very formidable. I had no idea...I must be careful...

Midori would attempt to stand and straighten up raising her arms to try and defend herself for a second round if Kaya had not attacked her right away.

Having the instinct of a fighter, Kaya would immediately try to swarm Midori when she fell to one knee, tackling into her to get her on the mat where she hoped to rain the pain on Midori's face as she would try to send multiple punches to pummel her into the ground as much as possible before Midori could kick her off. Kaya wasn't sure if this was allowable, but with her upbringing, this was the first thing she taught herself to do should stuff like this happen.
