Makie Akamatsu vs Nanako Junouichi

When Makie offered her hand to Nanako, she hadn't been expecting Nanako to take her loss well-- losing your initial match wasn't easy, after all. All the same, she had been hoping that Nanako might be a good sport and accept her hand. She wanted to at least give the girl some encouragement, to let her know that losing her first proper match wasn't the end of the world-- a lesson Makie had found out the hard way herself.

She had not, however, expected Nanako to punch her in the face.

"AAGH!" she cried as Nanako's knuckles slammed against the bridge of her nose, causing her vision to explode into a dizzy swirl of colours. She slammed down hard onto her back, clutching her head as she kicked weakly at the mat, almost completely dazed by that one, powerful punch.

As soon as her fist cnnected with Makie's face Nanako's eyes widened in horror. "Oh my gosh," she whispered as Makie went down from her single dominating blow. A wave of guilt washed over her. What had she done? WHy had she done it? Nanako had never struck out at someone in anger like that. It was just that she was so frustrated with how things were going lately. She had come to the AFW to become a true wrestling star, but her skills had been useless for her so far.

"I-I'm so sorry!" Nanako immediately apologized to makie as she writhed on the mat at her feet. "I didn't mean to! Really! I-I just...I just..." Realizing that nothing she would say would explain her actions, Nanako instead choose to run. The amazon turned tail and would leave the ring, her eyes brimming with tears as she ran up the ramp, the crowd booing her the entire way, wanting to leave this disaster of a debut match behind her.

Makie continued to write even as Nanako fled the arena. A fierce pain burned in her forehead, and she felt like her skull had been busted open. She was doing her best not to cry as she lay on her back, her legs kicking up a little spasmodically as she clutched her face. The referee knelt down to check her over, and after a few seconds, motioned for paramedics to be brought on.

Over it all, Makie could hear the fierce booing of the crowds. That bitch...I was only trying to be nice to her, Makie thought past the pain. I am going to get her back for this...next time I won't be so considerate...
