Av'12 Silver Monkey match

Mayu yelped as she fell onto Rei's body and before she could get up to make her escape, the Cosplay Fighter's arms were already trapped her head in a sleeper hold! The short haired girl immediately grab Rei's arm with both hands to try breaking the hold. Her legs were kicking out to prevent her opponent from securing them, although it also wasted more of her strength.

"Nngghh..." she groaned as Rei's sleeper was slowly but surely draining her.

Mayu didn't want to be put into a miserable position this early. She knew that her opponent was a submission specialist; the girl even bragged about it on their team meeting. Thinking that she needed a change of tactic, Mayu would let go one of her arm so she could try swinging her elbow at Rei's ribcage. If one strike wasn't enough, then she would do another, while trying to swing her head backwards as well to hit the girl's own. Desperate or not, Mayu thought that she needed to free herself from the hold before it would weaken her too much.

"L-let go...! Let go!" she would cry as she swung her elbow at Rei.

"Gotchya!" Rei grinned as she managed to get the hold in as her bicep and forearm pinched either side of the girl's neck cutting of the blood in her carotid arteries. The cosplay fighter was thrilled as she got the submission relatively easily and would squeeze the life out of her opponent. However, much to Rei's displeasure Mayu's elbow had found it's mark right on her nose.

"Ahhk!" Letting out a grunt of pain as the elbow was driven into her face, Rei released Mayu from the choke instantly not wanting to be caught by a second one. However, Rei followed up by forcing her opponent to sit up and try to capture the other girl's wrist with both hands. Rei would try to swing her leg over the back of Mayu's head and place the back of her knee across the short haired girl's neck and use both of her legs to try and weigh her back down to her back attempting to put the girl in an armbar.

"Not done yet!" Rei proclaimed not letting Mayu leave before she really knew how terrifying she could be on the ground.

Mayu breathed a sigh of relief as she felt Rei's arm loosened from her neck and she quickly gasped for air. Her opponent however quickly followed by capturing her other arm and soon enough she was put into an armbar position!

"Aaahhh! N-no!" she would cry from the pain, banging her other fist to the mat a few times.

The short haired girl would then try to reach for one of her opponent's ankle, so she could give it a sharp twist to give Rei a taste of her own medicine. If the Cosplay Fighter wanted to wreck her arm, then Mayu return the favor on the girl's ankle. She wasn't exactly in a better position, but it didn't seem like she had much choice as it was.

Rei let out a sigh of relief as she managed to lock in her arm lock right before Mayu grabbed her ankle and began twisting it. "Ugghhh!" Rei shut one eye as she hissed in pain while her opponent twisted her ankle. However, Rei knew she was in a far better position than Mayu, the girl was twisting her ankle with one hand while Rei was using her entire body to pressure . Rei would straighten Mayu's arm across her body while hugging her arm across her body and making sure her opponent's thumb pointed up. Rei would arch her hips putting immense pressure on the girl's elbow joint bending it back the wrong way. Rei knew this wasn't a submission match so, she felt her ankle and her opponent had had enough.

"You're stubborn... I like that!" Rei said as she began to switch up her game plan. Although Rei was determiend to win, she wouldn't resolve in trying to breaking Mayu's arm.

Rei would sit up relieving her opponent from the armbar before raising her arm and driving her elbow into Mayu's stomach before using her free leg to shove her away by pressing her sole against her ribcage.

Mayu continued to grit her teeth to endure the submission hold her opponent put her in, while trying to bend Rei's ankle as much as she could. When the Cosplay Fighter finally released her arm, she also slowly release the girl's ankle and sighed in relief. Apparently that wasn't the end of it yet as Rei would then drive her elbow on her stomach.

"Agh!" Mayu cried before she was shoved by her opponent's leg.

The short haired girl would remain lying on her side for a bit, still feeling a bit dazed by everything she went through. Rubbing her sore arm and stomach, Mayu knew she needed to get up as soon as possible, but for the time being she just couldn't really find the strength to do so.

Rei groaned slightly making it onto her feet she walked towards Mayu. The girl grinned a she shut one eye giving a small hiss as she stepped on the ankle Mayu had twisted. The purple haired girl hesitantly put her weight on it and took the step after with a sigh of relief. It was a bit sore but, it wasn't bad enough to slow her down. Rei walking over to her fallen opponent, Rei used her foot to nudge Mayu onto her stomach before she would press down on her opponent's back with the sole of her foot right between the girl's shoulder blades to keep her down. Rei would try to grab one of MAyu's legs and yank it back before securing her ankle with under her shoulder into a single boston crab.

"Sorry..." Rei said under her breath.

The more Rei thought about it, the more brutal she realized the match was. Mayu couldn't tap out or be down for a pin, she had to incapacitate her from moving until she had assembled the puzzle together. Rei's plan was to limit Mayu's mobility as much as she could without doing a great deal of damage to her legs.

Mayu was still lying on the mat as she could faintly hear the sound of footsteps behind her. Her arm was still hurting as she forced herself to get up, until she felt the Cosplay Fighter's foot poked her slender figure. The short haired girl whimpered as her body was nudged by Rei's foot, but when she felt that the girl was about to grab one of her legs, she would turn around to try swing her foot upwards, aiming at the girl's face. Her legs were still fresh, and kicking was one of her better aspect, so Mayu hoped that she would be able to inflict some damage to her opponent's face with that kick.

Even if normally she didn't like hitting someone else's face, Mayu had been learning the hard way from her previous fights that her kindness only seemed to make her opponent went more aggressive on her. She decided that she would need to be fiercer, at least when she's on the ring. Right after the kick to the face, Mayu would immediately follow by swinging her other leg, trying to hit Rei's leg to unbalance the girl, or even sent her down to the mat if she could. She was hoping that the leg she would hit was the one with the ankle she twisted earlier.

Rei reached forward to grab the girl's ankle as it eluded her grasp as she leaned in as an involuntary reaction nearly losing her balance in the process. "Ahkk!" Rei grunted as the kick landed right on her cheek causing her to stand up straight before she was quickly knocked off balance by the girl's kick to her damaged ankle. "Oofh!" Rei collapsed to her side a she hissed at the impact her body made with the mat. With one eye open, Rei would try to get on all fours and then to her feet.

"Not half...bad.." Rei said slowly.

The Cosplay Fighter hadn't expected such a well calculated escape and had to admit Mayu wasn't going down so easily. The Cosplay fighter decided to be a bit daring and if the girl let her, she would raise her fists offering to strike with her. Rei wasn't the greatest striker but, she was starting to learn and thought it was a good experience to try out what she learned.

Mayu rolled away after her kicks managed to knock Rei away from her, and she would get on one knee. The short haired girl panted a bit, still brushing her hurt arm as she looked at her opponent who began to get up on her feet. Mayu smiled faintly at the girl's words and she eventually stood as well, feeling the pain in her arm began to subside when Rei raised her fists. She wasn't sure whether the girl was a good puncher or not, but Mayu decided to take her chance. She thought that she needed to get back on level terms with Rei and the only way to do that is by attacking.

Mayu readied herself took a deep breath before she would run at her opponent. When she reached the Cosplay Fighter, Mayu would try to catch one of the arms with both hands. From there, the short haired girl would turn around and slide one of her hand to Rei's upper arm, so she could attempt to throw the girl with the One Arm Shoulder Throw.

"Hi-yaaaah!" she would let out as she tried to toss her opponent to the mat.

Rei was surprised that her opponent would try to grapple with her as she thought Mayu would be more comfortable in her area of expertise. The purple haired girl blinked as she shelled up behind a boxing guard but, blinked as her arm was grabbed. She tried to yank it loose but, her opponent had secured it rather tightly. She tried to yank it out by force but, found herself lifted off the ground by her opponent's hips. The girl blinked as she recognized the throw as a seoi nage but all was too late as the girl found herself airborne and hit the ground hard on her back.

THUD!

"Ahhhh!" Getting the wind knocked out of her, she opened her eyes finding herself in a delirious state before shutting them. She winced opening one eye as she found herself on her back looking up at the lights and Mayu's slender figure. 'I must have hit the back of my head on the way down...' Rei was dazed by the impact as the pain spread through her back. She was disillusioned in her dazed state and would groan slowly trying to roll to her stomach and crawl towards the ropes for refuge in her groggy state. Yet, she feared that Mayu wouldn't be so forgiving to let such a golden chance pass her by without her getting some payback.
