A Lover's Animalistic Quarrel (Nick vs. Cougra)

It was a brand new day in the AFW and it was already breast time for a few of the fighters. One was Deborah Grady aka Black Cougra. She walked out her door wearing some running shoes, a dark pink tank top, and some light blue shorts. She wore her signature cat ears and tail to be easily recognized before going off on her daily runabout.

It may have been only a few days since his arrival,but Nick Solem was still running off excitement.Quite literally.He was running around the small fields,just burning off energy.He stopped to breath.Thats When he saw a girl,walking one of the many pathways.There was something that just made Nick...Calm down.His heart raced even more than when he was running.Nick tried to walk up to her and spark conversation. "U-Uh...Hello,Miss."

As Cougra was walking down in order to cool down for a little while, she didnt notice the boy until he popped out from behind. "Ack!" she yelped when she felt uncomfortable on him being close. "Who are you and what do you want? Can't you see I'm busy?"

Nick jumps back a little when he realized he may have scared her a bit.It was downright obvious to see that the boy was flustered. "Sorry.I just,wanted to um,say hi." He bit his lip a little and his dog-like ears lower. "You look nice,Miss..."

When she noticed that Nick had dog-like ears and a tail, it made Cougra feel defensive since we all know how cats go with dogs. Still, she would respond, "Cougra. My name's Black Cougra. Sorry for me being in a defensive mood, I guess this feels ironic come to think of it. And you are?"

He smiled when she told him her name. "Im N-Nick Solem.Im new around here." Nick guided himself along in his mind. Okay,bud.You've gotten to exchange names.Now,what next? He then saw Black Cougra's cat ears.He tried to supresss any animal instincts. Dont you even let out a bark.Dont do it,Man!

"Oh," said Cougra in understanding. "Well, pardon my outburst earlier. Sometimes, I get jittery very easily." She extended a paw in a handshake as she added, "Welcome to AFW, Nick."

Cougra could actually see a blush form on Nick's cheeks as the two shook hands.He knew it was taboo to even like an opposite species.But,Nick would rather break the rules. "So,um...How good are you at wrestling?"

"Boy, am I ever!" responded Cougra cheerfully. "Do you wrestle? I mean, you have to know how to fight in order to hang here in this federation, you know."

"I know how to fight.Maybe not good,just some standard moves and mostly submissions." Nick replied to her in a soft tone that dwadled towards the end.Nick began to think to himself once again.IDIOT! Are you just gonna give your whole stratagey away? "You seem to be quite,cheery about it."
