Peace Across Worlds

Hearing that the girl before him was royalty,Jay instantly downed himself to one knee.He had met many leaders of many races.It took him a few times to finally get that he needed to show them the utmost care and attention. "Pardon me for my rudeness,Diasuke."

The Queen tells him that it would not be wise to poke fun at Veldaris' weapons.Which prompted the lion to realize....Veldaris may have been carrying more than just a bow.

She just smiles at him "It's alright. I'm just glad it didn't get completely out of hand. Uhm...you can stand up now."

Opening his eyes,the lion stood up. "Sorry.I just thought that I should bow to royalty." Jay looks over to Carl and Veldaris for a moment to scan them.They didnt look like bad people at all.But,he gave Veldaris a slightly angered stare.Jay then turns back to Diasuke. "Are these two your....Bodyguards?"

"I saw that, both of you drop it.........please?" Dai originally said firmly but then asked with some concern something might breakout again when she saw Jay give Veldaris a stare only to get one in return from the girl.

"Officially he is." confirming what Carl does. "Sometimes it's a bit different than that, but if you want to label him as such yes. As for 'lil miss sharpshooter here she it. Though those two are dating so that kinda explains why she's around as often as she is. Sometimes she'll do some minor work but it's mostly because of him. Though sometimes I wonder if she secrecy does his job for him." She finished with a slight chuckle, teasing that it looked like Veldaris was more alert and concerned with Kay earlier on than Carl was.

"What about you? What do you do?"

He didnt like the glare that he received from Veldaris,and he almost could have lunged at her and started a whole fight over it.But.....That wouldnt be the right thing to do in the presence of someone like Diasuke.Then again,he was starting to think of various ways to isolate her.Then Jay could teach her not to glare at him.

"Dating.....You shook a whole tree."He said skeptically.The lion learned that the two WERE her guards technically.He was then questioned on what he 'did'. "Well,for the past year,Ive been fighting here at the AFW complex."

"Oh. Yeah I've been there before. I mean other than that, or is that all you do?" She asked him wanting to know a little bit more. Carl hoped those two would drop it. He saw the look Jay and Vel exchanged and even he was not liking it.

"I saved the people of the world through violence....Once.I traveled and met races,and gave my help to them in various conflicts.I suppose I still do both." He stopped and crossed his arms. "But,fighting here is the primary." He`looked over at Veldaris yet again.But,not with a glare.Just a look.

"Oh." Dai was bit surprised by that. That kind of reminded her of one of her friends on Earth in a way but the way Jay worded it, it sounded like more than that.

Veldaris got word that their ride will be there in a couple minutes or so. While she didn't look at him she wanted to go get away from him as she had a feeling both wanted to pop the other. '.......He is kinda cute though. No I shouldn't be thinking that. Well, I wonder what would happen if we...' she thought to herself, unsure if she was really starting to fall for him or not.

Jay looks up to the sky,which was covered and cascaded by the beginning of the forest.Just a gentle breeze would blow through. "Sometimes I wonder whats worth fighting for.But,Im reminded with each battle." The lion shook his head slightly before looking back down at the three before him.

He hears that they would be leaving him. "Shame,I didnt get to know you three better.Due to our time being cut." Jay turns around and looks back up at the tree,as if he was going to re-climb it.

It didn't take much longer for their lift to show up in form of a small transport ship. As Daisuke and Carl make their way inside Veldaris looks back at Jay. "Hey!" until she is able to get his attention.

She then motions her head towards the ship, motioning for him to get on.
