Mako didn't often go after the balls. Not because of any sense of honor or decorum or because she thought testicles were icky or some dumb shit like that - she just hated cutting the fight short. She had her gang to impress, too, and the best way to do that was showing she could hold her own in a fight. Any bitch could crack a pair of nuts. But a Valkyrie could do so much more.

When John put her arm into a twist, though, she strongly considered answering it with a dick kick. The match had only just started, and she was already becoming severely irritated.

She held back a yelp and ground her teeth from side to side to keep a real scream from getting out, as she began to make her way to her feet. Suffering through the arm twist every step of the way, but holding on. Working through the pain.

As soon as she was up, Mako brought her boot up and stomped hard on John's foot, trying to make him let go and crush a few toes in the process.

It seemed that now perhaps Mako was realising that John wasn't just some chump who rode on Ryan's coattails, no Mr Carnaby was one who was serious. After all one didn't become the personal right hand man to the paragon of Britain without buffing up.

The artist kept silent as he kept the arm lock applied, this was what he was good at. Wearing down the opponent with moves like this, as opposed to Ryan who could slam with the best of them. Lucy meanwhile was the highflyer, the striker of the trio. And master of trolling, never again Freddy Fazbear. Never again.

John was trying to keep it as skilfully applied as he could, he was taught to follow on his training every chance he got. Just remain calm and don't panic, out-technique the opponent. It was like chess, just a way more painful version of it.

The master of creation's face contorted into a clear wince, Mako was using the closeness of the pair of them to deliver a counter to him. John knew that Mako was now vertical, and wasn't favouring the situation here to be honest. So with that in mind the master of creation tried to use the grabbed arm to his advantage, and send Mako towards the far ropes with an Irish whip.

The crowd started up with a fresh round of boos the moment Mako's foot came hammering down, and she could have sworn she saw more than a few obscene gestures. Why? Because they were idiots, and that's what idiots did. Cheer for the gaijin asshats, sure.

Whatever, fuck them, it worked.

The referee hopped out of the way as Mako barreled across the ring from the Irish Whip. She didn't fight the momentum or try to slow it down. Instead, she added to it, bouncing off the ropes with everything she had and coming back at John even faster than she'd left. If he wanted her up close and personal, that was exactly what he'd get.

Mako jumped on John with a Lou Thesz Press and threw her full  body onto him, trying to knock him over while she swung away with her fists.

John still didn't actually know any proper Japanese, but he knew fluent Latin at least. It was part of the job for him, and plus it helped him feel fancy. And perhaps it was the small but steady following of fans that Mr Carnaby was developing who were booing Mako, but John wasn't really in the mood to be entertaining that trail of thought.

The master of creation was trying to move into position for something, perhaps it would have been an arm toss and then he could keep targeting the same limb on Mako till it hung loosely from her body. But Mako was damm fast, and John was getting flashbacks to Lucy all over again.

The artist let out a grunt of annoyance as Mako plowed right into him, the speed at which she charged at him made it quite difficult to stop. So John was left with no other choice but to accept the attack, and then came the swinging fists. It was making things a bit hard for the master of creation right now, it was a blur of black leather wailing at him with abandon.

"C'mon John, fight and go through it!" Ryan shouted out, hoping to encourage his right hand man. John didn't respond but instead tried to slink his right leg under Mako to deliver a swift kick to her gut, hopefully to force her off of him. Although he John could still be open for attack as he rose back up as quick as he could, he still didn't have much in ring experience after all.

Punch. Punch. Punch.

This was more like it. Mako started to feel the vibes as she sunk her knuckles into John's pretty-boy face. For a few moments, she wasn't in the ring anymore. She was back on the street, down in some alley, showing some dumbass the reason she should have stayed out of Vallkyrie territory. This was the sort of position she excelled at - raw, brutal, merciless destruction - and she took some glee in knowing that her gang watched the fight and remembered why they followed her in the first place.

She didn't get to enjoy it for too long, though, before she was kicked off him and sent rolling away. Light weight made her easy to throw around, but she'd long since gotten used to that fact...and learned how to overcome the weakness. The trick was to stay mobile.

She bounded back towards him the moment she could put both of her feet on the ground and swung her body towards him, lashing out with a shin kick to his upper thigh.

John was getting the feeling that Mako was what Ryan had told him, something rather impolite and unexpected of the paragon of Britain. Her fists didn't brake anything yet, and that was something that Mr Carnaby didn't want to entertain.

He wasted no time getting up as quick as he could, but still Mako just didn't want to relent. As John neared her he got a swift kick to his leg, the master of creation's face contorted into a clear wince. He fell to one knee, but was far from down yet. And besides the closeness of him to Mako gave the artist an idea, it was risky yes. But John was getting the idea that anything against Mako would carry a certain level of risk in her current state.

With that in mind John suddenly sprung forth, using his long painter arms to grab Mako's nearest leg. With both arms around it the artist would try to use his legs to skilfully knock Mako off balance, and try to tilt her around for a single legged boston crab. If the master of creation could try to lock this in it could help tilt the odds in his favour, as him and his opponent were near the centre of the ring. John knew this move inside and out thanks to his focus on submissions, although he could still be countered.

Mako's style was that she didn't really have a style. There were moves she liked do and moves she didn't like to do, and it revolved around a simple principle: if it works, do more of it. Beating the shit out of John was, so far, proving to be an effective tactic, so she was more than happy to roll with it.

Of course, even though she hit hard, harder than anyone her size had a right to, that didn't mean she was invincible. She had a tendency to get carried away with the bloodlust, so much so that she could forget her opponent could do annoying things to her. Like fight back.

The scoop took her off guard. One moment she was up and having a jolly old time bashing John's face in, and the next she was down, face flat while John bent her leg back farther and farther and the pain cranked up with every inch. She was crawling forward and gritting her teeth down hard to bite back the pain, but it was a long way to get to the ropes. Ten feet suddenly looked more like ten miles.

Fortunately, a rope break wasn't the only option she had. Stone leaned on the ropes, watching things close as she and Mako exchanged glances...

Mako hit hard, John would give her that. Harder than him most likely, but she was a bit lacking in the technique department. Mr Carnaby had always been taught that power and timing was important, but so was skill. And the artist had just caught her, and was applying this hold with authority.

Looking on it John was actually quite impressed with himself, not only did he get the hold locked in swift as the wind. But he also had great ring positioning. To Mako it must have looked like the ring canvas was now a vast expanse, John certainly knew that feeling. The master of creation was trying to make the best of this, every chance he had in this match to wear down his opponent was something that had to be taken.

"Bravo John, a fine move!" Ryan exclaimed from the corner with a smile, Mr Knight was pleased to see that his right hand man was handling himself well. He knew how to pick them. But he also knew that John wasn't used to tag team matches unlike Lucy, and Ryan was keeping a watchful eye on both of the bikers just in case.

"T-Thanks boss! Whew!" John said in reply as he attempted to maintain the hold for as long as he could, the artist could feel Mako dragging herself towards the ropes. And still it would only be a matter of time till she got there, still he'd do what he could.

Submission holds. Mako hated submission holds.

Actually, she hated being in them, but she would have loved to be on the opposing side, wrenching John's arm back and making him scream like the bitch he really was. She'd get her chance, but only if she survived the next few seconds.

Tapping out and looking bad in front of the gang was not an option, and while she was making gains towards the ropes, they weren;t nearly fast enough for her liking. She would have liked to be able to stand up when the hold was finally released, so that meant she had to go for Plan B.

Mako exchanged glances with Stone and nodded. No words needed to be spoken.

Stone wouldn't like interfering, but she would follow orders, silent or otherwise. She came in over the top rope and rushed at John from behind, throwing a running knee at his back to break the hold.

John wasn't paying attention to when Stone entered the ring, but Mr Knight certainly was. Mr Carnaby was just trying to keep the hold locked in as long as he could. The artist didn't expect Mako to lose to this hold, but it would certainly make it harder for her to jump around. And then she'd be playing by John's rules.

The master of creation didn't even have time to yelp when Stone blindsided him, all he could manage was a minor grunt. Like that of a caveman not knowing what he was looking at, he had released the hold on Mako and had flopped down onto his chest. John's eyes rapidly blinked as he lay there, trying to comprehend what just hit him.

But by the time Stone had done that move Ryan was also in the ring, like a bat out of hell at the speed he was going. A blur of sunny blonde hair and elegant black, and his target was none other than Stone herself. Ryan lept up into the air, and was swinging his leg right at Stone's head for an enziguri kick ala Alberto Del Rio. It was only a matter of time before it broke down, least Ryan could do was return the favour.
