The movie star and the rock star (Hel and Carol)

Hel smiled, watching Carol eat, nibbling on a slice of pizza herself slowly, taking in Carol's petite beauty. "So... uh... how did you get to be so good, anyway? I remember... well, I hope you'll forgive me for this, but at your concert... the one I... got busy at, if you will. I didn't know who you were and I thought just from looking at you that you were... well, compared to what you expect of rockers, a little girl, and I thought you were gonna suck. B-b-b-but," she hastily added, "You blew my expectations out of the water, for sure."

Carol looked dead serious at Hel after her comment about her first concert..."What do you mean..." She was just joking,and just wanted to see how Hel looked when being intimidated by someone.

Hel dropped her slice of pizza to the plate, her eyes wide, "H-Hey now. I said you were really good! I... I just don't know that many 16 year old girl rockers who AREN'T shit." She would give a sheepish smile.

Carol started to laugh loudly as she smirked at Hel. "Relax! I was just joking...!" Carol tried to cheer the things a bit when she saw her date's expression. She didnt mean to put Hel in an akward situation.

Hel sighed, "Bah." She stuck her tongue out at Carol before taking dismissive bite at her pizza. "Seriously though, cutie, where'd you get your mad skills?"

"Well..To be honest....I started playing guitar when I was 7...Maybe th practice put me where I am right now..." Carol blinked at Hel and stuck her tongue out. But she was right. But failure is the best teacher,and after 9 years of practicing,she has become really good at it.

Hel took a thoughtful sip of soda, "Impressive..." She looked away for a second, "So... uh... do you have anyone... special?" She asked.

"That's something hard to answer....I mean....I had two persons that were special for me....My dad and my mom....But they are both dead now..." Carol was depressed as she started to talk about her parents,but trying to cheer herself up,she added.

"But....as a rockstar,my fans are the most important people I got in life....Does that answer your question...?"

Hel grimaced at the news of her parents, "I'm sorry." But Hel was more probing to see if Carol had a romantic interest in her life, and was somewhat pleased by the news of her not being so attached. She wasn't exactly planning on going THAT far with her, but she wasn't tied to someone else, and that would ensure things don't get too complicated.

With a start, she faced Carol once me, "No more depressing talk. Let's try something else. How'd you learn to fight?"

Carol couldnt answer that question because she didnt learn to fight anywhere. She just improvises in the middle of fights. She doubted for a moment what to say,until finally she opened her mouth. "Well...I dont really know how to fight....I just do whatever I think I could at the moment..."
