Heyman continuing to salvage WWE main events despite their best efforts. But you don't get to re-take the finish on PPV, you get one shot and they messed upacuya wrote:At least Heyman made sure everything was clear.

To anyone who watches TNA: Bound For Glory will be in Charlotte soon, and I'm considering going. Just a personal opinion, because I can't really get the TV show, but do you think it'll be worth my while?

A live show might not be too bad to go to.

Old_Man_Tai wrote:Also, Kurt Angle and Undertaker did a very similar finish back on smackdown in 2002.
Angle had a triangle choke in, Taker rolled him for a pin, then tapped out at the three count.
Nobody bitched about that back then, and it paid off because it led to an amazing triple threat match on PPV between Rock/Angle/Undertaker at Vengeance 2002.
But this is 2015, where if the IWC feels even one thing didn't go the way they would book it, then the whole show is RUINED FOREVER.
Very true. It wasn't a pretty-looking finish, but I'm sure WWE knows what they're doing.
Don't know if this is what they're doing, nor am I gonna believe anything until I see proof, but I've read theories that this will set up a Sting/Taker feud. Something along the lines of Sting returning to help Taker "reclaim his honor" or whatever after the way he handled himself against Lesnar.
Again, not saying I believe or expect it, but Sting is apparently in N.Y. tonight and "expected to be on RAW." And it would be a way to give the big Sting vs Taker dream match a story rather than just throwing two legends in the ring because why not, and would also give purpose to the petty stuff Taker's done recently. Even if that's COMPLETELY wrong and they're going an entirely different way with it all, I'm sure they've got a plan that'll resolve everything, and then the SummerSlam ending won't seem nearly as weird/dumb to a lot of people.

They thought Batista would be heralded as a returning hero when he won the rumble, they thought that Batista/Orton would be a great main event at WM30, they thought Daniel Bryan was not a big deal getting tossed out half-way through the following rumble this year. If it wasn't for Seth's lobbying the Shield would have been fed to Cena. They thought people would support Roman Reigns run at wrestlemania if enough people verbally sucked his dick on RAW. They honestly thought they gave Rey Mysterio a fair shot at being a champion who failed when they booked him to job out in non-title matches every week. They brought Kevin Nash back in 2011! They don't know what they're doing, they booked themselves into a corner with this match and no-one came out looking better than they did going in because of a dusty finish that they didn't even have the right camera angle for until the replay!

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Camera angle was definitely bad. Definitely hurt the quality of what they were going for big time. No argument there.
And I'm not saying it was a good finish, or that WWE booking has always been fantastic. They've definitely made plenty of mistakes, no doubt. All I'm saying is I'm sure they have a plan for the storyline, and this will lead to something down the road. Whether that ends up being good or not is obviously yet to be seen.

I could not stop laughing when Bo's music hit. This was the best thing that could have happened to open up Raw.

Can every Raw open up with Bo Dallas getting murdered? That was amazing.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
How is it that WWE always manages to find people that dwarf their other giants?
Edit: Also if you aren't watching, the Dudley Boys are back. That happened.

All of these are great to laugh about, but my personal favorite is Mr Hustle, Loyality and Respect taking away the belt from a tired Rey Mysterio who had won it an hour before against the Miz after a tournament.^^
