Youkai Kid Vs. Eliza Harenwood

Backstage, Tatsumi Rokubungi took a deep breath as he adjusted his boots and Kimono. Today was going to be his first match ever! And on a school night no less! He lied and told his parents he was going to a friend's house but in reality he was taking his first step towards becoming a big wrestling star! He had gotten a few odd looks for entering the building with his mask on, but he wasn't taking any chances. He wanted to keep his identity a secret. Tonight he was going to put away Tatsumi Rokubungi and become the super cool, Youkai Kid!

Volare Via! began to blast throguh the arena speakers before the 5'5", 125 pound Youkai Kid emerged from backstage, arms raised in the air, trying to not trip over himself as he saw the large, roaring crowd that packed over ten thousand people in the arena.  The Kid was awestruck and was looking around the place, wide eyed with an open mouth before he never tripped over.

"..." Adjusting himself, The Kid ran towards the ring and slid inside, grinning ear to ear before he made his way to his corner and awaited the arrival of his foe.

Well this was it, Eliza's first match of the year in Tension. After a decisive pummelling of the good hearted Melody White it was time to regain focus, and set her sights on where she belonged. Good ol Kyoto, Eliza had missed it just as much as the fans of Tension missed seeing her in the squared circle. As respectful as the dancing passion was she would admit one thing, Eliza loved the spotlight and her line of work. She had a rough start, but now Ms Harenwood's flame truly burned bright. And it time for Eliza to begin her year of Tension, and see how well she'd do in this one.

Her opponent was completely unknown, aside from the name being rather odd. Youkai kid? Was that supposed to be a visual pun or something of significance? Eliza didn't know much about Japanese myth, but it sounded familiar. Ms Harenwood was more concerned about the lack of information, she hated walking into things blind. It had happened with her match over in Friction and thankfully Melody was to be honest below the league of the British woman, was it the case here? Eliza didn't dare entertain it.

The dancing passion was dressed in her usual attire, both in terms of entrance and ring. She placed a small masquerade mask on her face, and Eliza held folding fans in her hands. The stagehand had knocked on the door and stated that it was time for Ms Harenwood to enter the ring, the young lady opened the door and promptly made her way to the entrance ramp. Eliza had a small smile on her face and a skip in her step.

In the Tension arena the crowd were talking in hushed but very excited mutterings, they knew who was to appear next. They wouldn't have to wait long, because now the lights would dim down. To the point where it was pitched black, and then a white spotlight would shine on a red velvet curtain that had been put onto the ramp.

The song, known to the fans as Pena Flamenca began to play on the speakers as a female shadow was shown behind the curtain. It danced from side to side, until the song hit the 0:16. And Eliza burst through it, much to the loud applause of the audience. Ms Harenwood smiled and bowed, oh how she missed it. Here she was, back in the ring in Tension proper.

Eliza briskly made her way down the ramp, giving spins and twirls as she did so. Much to the various cheers and catcalls of those in attendance, Ms Harenwood would go up the iron steps and elegantly slip into the ring. The British lady would take the chance to look at her opponent tonight, he was actually shorter than her. First Ms White and now this, well he certainly dressed to impress and be noticed.

"Well hello, my name is Eliza Harenwood. I will be your opponent for tonight, I understand this is your debut correct? Well best of luck then." Eliza said politely, it wasn't just her sense of dressing and fighting in the ring that endeared her to the fans. Her nature in general was also something very noteworthy.

The Kid waited with anticipation as the lights dimmed until the arena went dark and his foe's entrance theme began to play It got him excited and anxious, no doubt his opponent was going to be some super strong warrior woman, a real fighter.

And then, Eliza Harenwood emerged from the curtain to a roaring crowd and The Kid's eyes widened instantly. His opponent was an unbelievably beautiful girl who looked like a princess or even a queen!  The Kid didn't expect his opponent to be so attractive and regal.

"O-Oh! Yes! Y-Youkai Kid! G-Good luck to you as well!" Exclaimed the Kid, not really able to believe that Eliza was going to be his foe. She didn't look like a wrestler at all. This seemed a bit unfair.

Oh well.

The Kid stretched his arms and crouched low, awaiting the bell before he moved in to lock up with Eliza.

Eliza smiled slightly at her opponent as he introduced himself, Youkai kid. Well it certainly wasn't a common name, most likely it was just an alias. From some time in the British wrestling scene Eliza had learned that most people didn't wrestle under their actual name, though Eliza insisted on using her name as a matter of pride in it. Still Ms Harenwood was curious about her partner for this evening, he didn't look like much once the British girl got past the rather bright outfit. Nevertheless Youkai did seem to have a lot of energy behind him, a quality Eliza could admire for sure. She preferred her opponents to be into the fight, to make it worth her while.

Wordlessly Eliza moved to her corner and removed her mask and fans, placing them below the bottom ring-post. And in one fluid motion Ms Harenwood stepped out of her entrance attire, revealing what she wore for tonight's bout. Her trademark modest red corset and stockings, Youkai might not expect the dancing passion to look like a proper wrestler. But rest assured, she dressed to impress. And as usual the crowd wasted no time in vocalising their admiration of Eliza, they enjoyed seeing her face off against the males of Tension and defeating them with grace and skill.

The bell rung, signalling that the match was now underway. Eliza had been in her stance, knees gently bent and ready to move. Both her arms tucked inwardly, looking every bit like the dancer she invoked. Ms Harenwood would approach her opponent, Youkai was seemingly looking for a lockup against Eliza. It wasn't something she normally did, and Eliza would stick to what she knew in the opening part of tonight's fight. So once the dancing passion felt that she was close enough Eliza would quickly break into a spin, the rotation serving to confuse the enemy. After that display of poise the British lady would quickly shoot out her left leg in the hopes of blasting Youkai right in the gut, and give him a taste of what was to come.

The Kid was stretching out his lithe body as the bell rang, ready to tangle with this European beauty. Only to freeze a little bit as he saw her stand in that tight fitting corset and leather stockings. "W-Wow!" What a babe! Too bad he was going to thrash her no.

The Kid moved in, hands up, ready to tangle before he saw Eliza suddenly break into a spin. "W-What the!?" Gasped the boy eyes wide, cautiously getting his hands up as he stood frozen in confusion before...

"HOUGHH!!" Suddenly, Eliza's leg drilled into the boy's stomach. His eyes shooting wider as he felt the strength of her lower limb that was packed with a surprising amount of force and muscle. He stumbled back, hugging his stomach as he coughed, doubled over and trying to breathe.

The first move of the match had gone to Eliza, as she had hoped it to be so. Youkai kid probably wondered what just hit him, well it was one of the beautiful legs of the dancing passion. Eliza preferred having the pace of the fight controlled by her, make them dance to her tune as the saying went. Her opponent seemed to have made the mistake of assuming Ms Harenwood to be some dainty looking flower, that might have been the case when she started in Tension. Now though Eliza was more akin to a graceful lady of war, and the kid was going to realise this.

The kid had buckled after the kick from Eliza's leg, this was just the start. Ms Harenwood knew that striking was the best way to fight for her, even the biggest and strongest men in Tension could fall with well placed kicks from the dancing passion. Eliza pivoted in place after her kick, moving slightly backwards. Another chance for an attack had appeared, Eliza readied herself again.

Seeing that Youkai was doubled over Ms Harenwood prepared to quickly move forward once again, leaping up into the air as she did so. Eliza would attempt to fire out her left knee as she jumped, in the hopes of blasting the kid in the forehead. He stumbled back before, and Eliza hoped to send him reeling even more with this blast of offence.

The Kid wheezed as he hugged his stomach, trying to breathe properly from a kick that had strength that he didn't think would come from a girl doing ballet spins!

The Kid told himself to attack again but as he looked up, he'd see Eliza suddenly leap forward and... "OOUUUHGHHH!!" Her knee blasted the boy right in the forehead as he looked up, whipping his head back as he stumbled back violently, eyes crossed before slumping against the ropes, arms draped over the top.

It had been well documented that Eliza had no formal martial art training when it came to her kick based attacks, her legs had been honed from years of dance practise. And it showed, while her legs didn't seem like walking slabs of muscle. Eliza liked to prioritise accuracy and make sure every attack that connected hit effectively, her dancer dexterity let her move in and out to help make her gameplan a reality. And the Kid just got one heck of a headache from Ms Harenwood's knee of justice!

Eliza landed in a crouched position after her strike, the crowd had popped as Youkai was sent stumbling back. They missed the beautiful displays of offence that often left the dancing passion's foes crumbled on the ground by the end of it all, and the British girl was all too happy to oblige the fans of Tension. And the location of The Kid was offering a chance for Eliza to perhaps continue her assault on the debuting rookie.

Ms Harenwood rolled backwards, back to the centre of the ring. She then lept up and stood up on the way down, taking a few seconds to size up her opponent's position. Before then making to run towards him and jump, aiming for a dropkick and blasting both legs into The Kid's chest. Though the attack was quite obvious in it's direction, the power could be worth the risk however.

The Kid's stars were ringing as his head was blasted, swearing he saw two Eliza rolling back into a crouch before she came charging yet again. The boy's eyes went wide open, screaming at himself to move but it was too late and Eliza's stocking covered feet and powerful legs would blast The Kid point blank in the chest.

"AAUHH!!" The kid cried, his arms still wrapped in the ropes. His legs shooting in the air and immediately giving out as he returned to the mat, dropping onto his butt before falling face first into the mat, sprawled out.

"U-Uhhh...." He twitched on the mat as the crowd roared for Eliza. Everything hurt. The chest, his abs and his head as the boy was being battered around.

Since coming to Tension Eliza had over time expanded her array of moves, granted she still stuck to what she knew best most of the time. But she moved to other things beyond her dancing moves, and started using wrestling attacks. The dropkick in particular was a new favourite of hers, because it let her put her legs to use. And they were her main weapon of choice, as the Kid was coming to certainly know. And feel, right about now.

Because the Kid had been sent right for a loop, his chest had been wide open and Eliza had taken advantage of it. It looked as if he was going to be taken right out the ring by the skilled strike from Ms Harenwood's legs, but luck had pity on Youkai. Because he dropped to his rump and fell to the mat, which perhaps was the better course of action. After all as hard as Eliza could hit and fight she only fought to win, not to destroy her opponent.

The dancing passion took a deep and moved away from the Kid, running a hand through her blonde hair. Things had been going all Eliza's way right now, but she didn't want to throw everything out and run out of steam. She'd been in the squared circle enough times to know doing that was very ill-advised.
