Cyclone Tag Tournament Round 1: Rebecca and Diana vs Kyoko and Amy

Her punch hit air as she saw it basically swing in front of Diana's face, much to her frustration. Though this is slightly migated by her kick conncting it does nothing to faze her opponent for very long, who after a breif moment of pain she simply poked her forhead like she was a kid trying to scold her.

Needless to say it got the aquired reaction out of her though it was subtle as Amy didn't show any signs of anger outwardly but she was pretty peeved at the antic. Moving in Amy instead opted to feint another punch before going low and trying to grab at her legs to lift her up and drop her down to the mat with a take down.

Diana may have not heard a roar of anger or even profanity, but she knew that even the quietest, calmest of women wouldn't appreciate being dodged in such a manner, especially with a mocking head rub. Resuming her position, she couldn't help but slyly smile, fully expecting the blonde to quickly try again in but a quick moment. And she sure did.

Defence somewhat sporadic, somewhat unsure of just where the blonde would shoot, a quick feint would let Amy dig in low, hugging her legs. Rather than fight it, Diana would simply lean forward, tucking her head as she found herself somewhat roughly dropped on her back, deciding to simply roll with the posture, knowing full well that if Amy continued on such a blind-rage, she could work the position even from underneath!

She needed to get a real difference in this match soon, simple punches and kicks weren't going to be doing much to her opponent. So she went for the simple but effective takedown, dropping Diana down to the floor where she coukd get her under her control.

At least that was the plan anyway, instead Diana rolled through in some effort to get loose from her grasp which annoyed Amy a little more as she clawed after her to try and grab her leg and keep her from getting up or recovering.

Diana would of been fine with Amy mounting her if anything, somewhat confident in her knowledge of limb locks, and firm strike defence, to turn the tide against the blonde. Yet still, she found the momentum of the roll and her own defensive and controlled landing resulting in Amy somewhat rolling off her, instead going for her limbs.

A leg lock obviously much preferable to a mount, given that Diana's upper body couldn't do a damn thing, she'd try to bring up her free leg as her hands gripped the mat besides her. Assuming the position of preparing for a kip up, she'd instead try to force power through her figure to try and shove straight up, trying to heave the blonde back and away from her!

Amy was a annoyed that for all the comments about wanting a fiht and all Dian was doing was rolling away and doing eveything she could not to fight made her look like a coward. She instead squeezed her leg to try and injure the girl.

However once again rather then make any attempt to fight Diana continued to just duckout and kick away sending her off. Frustrated she stood up and moved in towards her opponent again so she could try and get an actual fight going.

Make no mistake, Diana didn't particularly want to spend the match being 'that wrestler' who dances around her foe, pissing off both the woman before her and the crowd viewing. She knew for a fact that it made for poor viewing, and if anything somewhat of a poor fight. Ducking attacks often enough took just as much effort to make them. Still, she knew she had to make an adjustment to her usual match tactics, given that she had two women to wear down, for the ebony amazon behind her. There was also the fact that Kyoko wouldn't at all be prone to making the same bull-rushes as Amy, given that she was viewing clearly just how Diana was dealing with the blonde.

"Okay..." She'd mutter to herself, deciding that she needed to more physically poke the bull rather than simply taunt it. Her foe looking for another tie-up, Diana would look to do the same. Only at the last second, she'd suddenly bring up her right leg, in an effort to roughly push kick the blonde's firm abs!

Finally able to get back up to her feet, Amy readied herself while Kyoko had the nerve to speak up. "You gonna hit the bitch or just dance around her all day?" She said aloud much to Amy's already growing frustration. "Id like to see you do any better here." She replied back before focusing back on the amazon.

Finally thiugh jt seemed Dian was ready to fight as she miced in along with her and the two seemed ready to lock up. However the lock-up never happened, instead Diana pulled her hand down and butied her fist in her belly. "Huugh!" Amy ket out as she coughed a little but dropped her guard down a little from the pain, trying to recover as quick as possible.

Observing the two bicker, Diana was admittingly somewhat curious why her own partner had not berated her lack of offense. When she fought the giant, she was anything but slow and cautious, and was surprised the ebony amazon wasn't verbally goading the woman into resuming said strategy. She raised an eyebrow though, with a small smile, as she simply and hopefully put it down to Rebecca realising Diana's strategy and the purpose behind it; putting the two on the same page. Atleast for the time being.

Her sudden switchup seemingly caught the blonde completely off guard, as fist connected neatly to toned flesh. Sensing her chance, she'd grab the blonde hair of the woman before her, seemingly yanking her close inbetween those toned thighs. Arms coming down and locking firmly around the blondes waist from above, all the signs were there that Diana was about to try to put Amy away here and now with a monstrous powerbomb attempt. It made sense after all- Amy would not allow her guard to drop so easily ever again in front of the Italian.

Only such a move never came.

Locking arms, Diana would instead kick up off her own feet. With surprising agility, and if luck was on her side, she'd flip over the blonde with arms still locked, briefly putting Dianas head inbetween the blondes own legs before she'd attempt to pull her foe down to the mat in a sunset flip.

The pain wouldn't exactly be monstrous, but the surprise and finesse of the unique takedown would hopefully leave Amy on her back, susprised, and with those legs close to Diana left ever so vulnerable!

Amy was caught off guard for sure but it she had taken more then this in just anout everyfight she had been in so this was nothing new, still it stunned her enough so that Diana could pull her in close and under her legs so she could go for a powerbomb. Exclet that Amy noticed she had made it so her arms were hooking her legs, which you dont want if your going for a power bomb.

Realzing suddenly what came next she tucked her head into her chest for when Diana came up and when she brought her down to her back she still landed on her back with a rough impact with her head tucked in she was abke to roll through as well and get out of her grasp. Coughing from the impact her back made with the mat she tries to get back up and continue the fight.

Diana and Amy both shared the aspect that either character performing a technical or especially luchadore esque move would shock you. Diana not only amazed the crowd with her somewhat finely tuned tuck and roll, but the blonde before her equally amazed by how quickly she used the momentum to simply roll back to her feet. Diana would follow suit, assuming a posture on her knees and fists. Her eyes up, an idea came to mind.

"Tsk...alright then..." She'd mutter to herself, before charging in at moderate pace, shoulder first into her standing foe. She wouldn't exactly be trying to spear the woman, and didn't pack enough punch to take her to her feet or even hurt her seriously. Diana's tactic was yet again, not one of outright demolition, but one of tactics. Mainly, pushing her right back into Amy's own corner, where Kyoko, who had certainly not remained quiet in her opinion of her partner, would surely make things interesting.
