Well, a rookie tournament. Now in Russia, Yuki would be facing a fellow rookie in this tournament, and she wanted to see the fruit of her efforts. This tournament seemed to be her chance to prove it to everyone that she was more different compared to before. She had been training rigorously, perfecting her moves and strategies.

With a determined look, Yuki Onna made her appearance, marching down the ramp with her entrance music blaring from the speakers. She made sure that each step taken was filled with surety, knowing that showing her weaknesses would allow anyone to take advantage of her.

After she finally reached the ring, she slipped into the ring and removed her huge detached sleeves before she went to a corner, waiting for her opponent to show herself.

Nerves were getting to her. This was her first big one, a match that would allow her to showcase what she was made of on a far bigger scale then she had ever done so before and with an audience she had never fought for in her life. Sheena was pacing around waiting for her cue before she finally got it. Sighing and taking a second to breathe before heading out, how bad could it be?

Very bad...it could be very bad. She immediately lost her nerve again once the cored cheered for her and the announcer said her name but thankfully she kept on walking. Forward progress was good progress and with her flushed cheeks she gave a friendly wave to the crowd before rolling into the ring. "Come on you'll be fine you made the charm and everything just do your best." she said to herself slapping her face a little as she did. Before looking at her opponent. "Sorry about that..hi.."

Yuki looked at her opponent. She looked nervous. Well, perhaps she's not used to something this big, while Yuki had experience in this sort of thing, having participated in martial arts competition prior to her becoming a wrestler. Feeling that she neede to fight her opponent at her best, she tried to encourage her.

"Let's do our best," she even gave her a slight smile before bowing slightly. And then, the referee came over and started explaining to them about the rules and some other things. After asking if they were ready, she called for the bell, starting the match.

Dropping into position, Yuki would prepare to clash with her foe. She would begin it by going for a lock up to see where she would bring the direction of this match next.

She was a bit to flustered for words so instead just nodded when her opponent...Yuki she believed her name to be, told her they should do her best. Sheena planned to do just that nerves or not as she didn't come here just to freeze up when the bell rang. She just needed it to do that so she could get her head in the game. Hearing it was time Sheena immediately tensed up, moving in to start.

Closing in to start the match Sheena thought about how to play this. Yuki looked pretty agile and probably was very technical but she still wouldn't know that for sure without locking up. So Sheena figured she should start strong. Moving in as fast as she could and bring her leg up and she jumped to try and knee her foe across the chest.

Instead of locking up, Sheena went straight for a strike, delivering a vicious knee strike right onto Yuki Onna's chest. "Mrgh!!" To her credit, though, Yuki's well-trained reflexes allowed her to react to it and she stepped back in order to lessen the damage that she took from Sheena's knee strike.

Still, Yuki was left winded by the attack, which might leave her in a dangerous position. Cradling her aching chest, Yuki would step a few steps back, distancing herself from her opponent as she would put herself in a defensive position. She needed to be prepared to take Sheena's next attack and react to it accordingly.

Her tactic worked and threw Yuki for a loop, one that she was going to continue on and move in as the girl fell back and went on the defensive. Sheena knew that charging in a second time wouldn't work as well. Yuki was watching her a bit more intensely and the second she moved in she would be trying to move out of the way. Staying in close Sheena brought her hands up and inched towards her.

Attempting to try and keep on the attack though Sheena would try and grab one of her arms and pull her in while sending a kick to her leg and hoping to pull her in for a knee to the gut to add to it.

Seeing Sheena coming over for the second time, Yuki would react accordingly, getting her arm pulled by her while her leg was going to be kicked. Acting as quickly as she could, she would shift her footing, dodging the kick before attempting to swing her arm onto Sheena's throat, going for a short-hand clothesline.

And in her effort to increase the damage she could deliver, she would try to sweep at Sheena's legs while she was trying to use the clothesline, swiftly turning the clothesline into an improvised O-Soto-Gari, or STO as wrestlers would call it. She was hoping that it could bring Sheena down onto her back and on the canvas so Yuki could follow up with more attacks.

Sheena was trying to go for an all out offensie strike that would allow her to keep the girl on her toes. Making sure to grab her opponent and go for a quick kick her attack seemed pretty secure until Yuki got her body out of the way and moved, bringing her arm up to Sheena's chest and tripping her up as she pushed in to knock her down with an STO.

Being brought down to the floor by the swift and abrupt move Sheena's back smacked against the canvas as the girl quickly tried to kick against her foe to keep her at bay while she was down.

After bringing Sheena down with an O-Soto-Gari, Yuki tried to follow up with another attack, but her opponent managed to kick at her, thwarting her effort. Yuki grunted, scowling a little as she stepped back, distancing herself from her opponent, which would give her enough time to recover.

Yuki herself was winded from being kicked, so she took her time to recover as well, watching Sheena warily as she would drop into a stance, preparing herself to launch another attack at her. From the look of it, Sheena wasn't one to be underestimated, judging by her attacks early in this match.
