AV 17 Rookie tournament: Sheena Akan vs. Yuki Onna

Slammed into the floor put a halt to Sheena's efforts to try and get on top of her foe but she wasn't out of it yet. Moving away from the girl and trying to retain some distance to recover and seeing that Yuki was doing the same thing more or less Sheena would try and get back to her feet s fast as possible.

Rubbing her back Sheena looked over at Yuki as she tried to make sure she was good to press the attack moving in ever slowly in hopes to find an opening to exploit and work on from here on out.

Looking at her opponent, Yuki would drop into a stance, preparing to launch herself towards Sheena. She kicked the mat, throwing herself forward, rushing over to her opponent, as if looking to drive her shoulder into Sheena's chest.

But her intention wasn't to do that. At the last second when she was about to reach Sheena, she would quickly pivot, stopping herself. The shoulder block earlier was just a feint as she would try to deliver a back kick right at Sheena's knee, hoping to make her lose her balance and bring her down to her knees!

Sheena slowly reached her feet as Yuki started to move in once more attempting to keep on the attack while she got on the defensive to make sure she didnt just take another hit without being able to answer back with another attack of her own. Still as the girl was trying to get back Yuki looked ready to push into her.

Though instead she felt the sudden kick to her leg that staggered her. Though having brought herself to a more solid stance Sheena didnt drop to her knees the sudden pain caused her to stagger and back up her hand nearly going to where she was kicked as she backed up.

The back kick failed to bring Sheena down to her knees, but Yuki quickly regained her bearing as she drew back her leg and turned around, facing Sheena's back. This time, she would bend her knees before leaping up, aiming to deliver a standing dropkick right onto her back!

Yuki would inevitably land on the mat, grunting a little as she made sure that she didn't accidentally injure herself while landing. Upon landing, she would quickly get on her knees and look at the direction of her opponent to see how she was doing after Yuki attempted to land a dropkick right on her back.

Slightly turned around the girl was quick to try and pull herself back up to her feet as Yuki moved away from her for the moment. Still on her knees she wasnt completely out of the fight yet before she felt the girls boots catch her back as Yuki was really trying to make sure she couldn't get back up to her feet.

Falling forward Sheena landed chest first on the mat. Her head bouncing off it as she rolled to her side and went to tend to her back as she tried to push and move away from the girl blue haired girl.

Seeing Sheena landing chest-first after being dropkicked, Yuki would quickly pick herself up so that she could grab her by her ankles, dragging her away towards the center of the ring, where Yuki could continue with her moves on her opponent without worrying about her moving towards the ropes.

From there, Yuki was planning to at least try to turn her around, hoping to subject her to a Boston crab. Yuki wasn't one to always use submission holds, but after training herself, she would try to use something like this to at least weaken her opponent.

As Sheena was laying on the floor the girl felt her legs being pulled up and around as the girl was trying to get her locked up in a Boston Crab submission hold. The young wrestler quickly tried to turn and resist the hold as much as possible. She knew the hold well enough to not want to be trapped in it.

Instead she would try and kick her leg and quickly turn to get her side and get away from her and her attempts to hold her down and take her out of commission. "Not..that easy!"

Before she could properly put Sheena in the Boston crab, Yuki's grip on her opponent's legs slipped as Sheena kicked out her leg and turned to her side, and she managed to get herself away from Yuki. Letting out a huff, Yuki looked at Sheena who was moving away before she followed after her, going to grab her by her head so that she could pull her up to her feet where she could try to weaken her, making it even much easier for Yuki to beat her.

Holding Sheena by her head to keep her in place, Yuki would try to smash her forearm onto her chest, hammering it a few times. She was planning to finish the combo with a kick to her belly, hoping that those series of strikes were enough to make Sheena drop on her knees, weakening her enough.

Stopping the girl from trapping her in that annoying hold she tried to get back up and on her feet refusing to stay down any longer and let Yuki walk all over her. Though the blue haired girl was quick to grab her by her hair and force her up sheena was quicker in trying to prepare herself for the worst.

Yuki drove her forearm into her chest as she tried to keep her on the defensive and Sheena let out a gasp as her chest folded from the attacks but her arms started to come up to her defense and when Yuki followed the forearms with a knee, her hands were there ready to catch it as it struck her stomach. With a heave Sheena attempted to toss her up and try to bring Yuki down with an impromptu slam to try and get on top of her.

Yuki's knee strike was caught by Sheena, much to her surprise before she was tossed up and then brought down with an impromptu slam into the mat. "Nnnghh!!" She grunted through gritted teeth, enduring the pain from the slam. It looked like she was brought down onto the mat, making her position extremely precarious.

Then, Sheena got on top of her, presumably looking to pin her down. Having no intention to just let her do anything like that, Yuki would try to buck Sheena off of her and reverse their positions, getting on top of her. She was planning to press her forearm against Sheena's chest while she was on top of her, having both Sheena's shoulders on the canvas so that the referee could count for the pinfall attempt.
