Julia Knight vs. Cicilia 'The Juggernaught'

Falling back she wanted to make space and maybe lure Ciclia to the outside where she could use her better ring awareness to her advantage. Though it was clear Cicilia didn't feel any sense of urgency to get after her. Instead she let her rest like it was some gift. Growling Julia pushed herself to her feet and looked at her. What the hell was she doing? She should have just gone all out and took this girl down the second she ran her mouth. That would show her.

Moving in towards the ropes she rolled in and stood up to face the girl. Her eyes focused but a smile found its way on her face once more. "Your gonna regret thinking I'm defenseless." she said moving in once more as she close in with her hands up. Throwing a light jab at her foe and trying to poke at her defenses.

Cicilia would move into the center of their arena as the woman slipped back in, vowing to make her regret ever thinking she was defenseless. The german tilted her head to the side, an uncertain look on her face as she raised her hands again, this time her palms open ever so slightly to allow for easy blocking.

"You mean like how you were making me regret it before?" She questioned as if ignorant to the woman's apparent damaged pride. "I really don't see much difference between you then and you now." Her insults lacked a true punch but perhaps that was what made them so brutal. She spoke her words nonchalantly, as if she were stating the sky were blue or this match was hers. Clear passive aggression rested underneath her tone, though, a quiet anger at this woman for thinking she deserved respect. If she had an inner self, they'd be smiling abnormally wide right now... She was going to crush this little redhead...

The two of them inched closer this time, closing the distance slowly, cautiously this time. For all the back-talk Cicilia threw at the woman, she was cautious, keeping her guard staunch and her stance firm but mobile (or as mobile as a slugger could get). The woman threw a quick jab that would impact with Cicilia's palm, The German's fingers attempting to close around her knuckles. Should this succeed, The german would jerk the redhead closer, her other hand shooting out to grab the red-head's throat. Should that succeed as well, the Juggernaut would grunt, hissing with effort as she'd raise her arm, effectively choking the woman off the ground an inch or two in her grip, letting her strength hang right out of her. This was no more different than a smother or ground choke-hold... except this attack could be followed up into one of Cicilia's killer attacks...

"Because you haven't actually faced me yet. Once you do your gonna eat those words." Julia said as she moved in closer towards the girl ready to give her a piece of her mind. Julia wanted to see what she could get away with and sent the quick punch to help see for herself. Her fist met Cicilia's hand and she the girl tried to clamp down on it and pull her in. Julia thankfully reacted fast enough that she didn't fall into the chokehold she wanted her to. Bringing up her other hand to protect herself and trying to slide out from her grasp.

Growling she brought her foot up and tried to step back and kick at Cicili's shin to mess with her balance and pull on her arm to get it free and allow her to turn around. If that worked she would try and send a knee to the boxers gut to pay her back and attempt to wrap her arm around her head.

Good. It wasn't fun to pummel a weakling. Maybe now she could actually have a little fun. Cicilia did indeed grab hold of the woman's fist, hauling her in, though she was able to avoid the quick grab for her throat, holding up her arm to defend herself and deftly pushing it aside. The woman then made a kick for the german's shin which she landed on no uncertain terms, making her leg quake just a tad, threatening her balance but not taking it out completely. The Juggernaut was still in control, but her rule was being challenged....

Good. She liked that.

The redhead attempted to knee Cicilia in the stomach only for her attack to be met with her own knee, the two legs slamming together with notable force. The german's superior strength would no doubt do more damage to the redhead than she would to her, possibly crippling her leg (expression) if it hit just right. On the other hand, Cicilia wasn't exempt from damage either. Her kneecap was struck in such a way that INCREDIBLY awkward pain shot through her leg and into her stomach making her feel a touch of wooziness but not taking away her focus just yet.

If the redhead still made a grab for her head, Cicilia would grab at her wrist with her free hand before giving her what she wanted: a quick, uncensored headbutt right to her nose.

If she didn't, the German would cock her fist back throwing a brutal uppercut to her but as payback for that attempted knee.

Fighting against the chokehold Julia felt like she was getting a measure of control on this match before as she tried to hit her with the knee, though that didn't work as flawlessly as she wanted as Cicilia tried to stop her with a knee of her own as the two collided with each other and came to a halt midway through. Growling that her plan didn't work and that her knee had a flash of pain go through her leg Julia opted to try and change something up.

Rather then try and control her head Julia would bring her hand to the arm she was already grabbing and twist into it. Trying to bring it over her head and attempt to pull her opponent down to the floor with an arm drag. Looking to bring her down the redhead would try and outwrestle her opponent and trap her in a headlock.

Cicilia's eyes widened in surprise as her world was suddenly inverted at the fulcrum that was her arm, the ground suddenly appearing out of nowhere and slamming into her spine. She blinked, perplexed more than actually in pain as to how the planet suddenly defy physics like this. Instead of her opponent, the ceiling-lights of the arena glared down at her and she wondered if it was someone up there who pulled some kind of trick...

It was when she felt the woman's arm around her neck, compressing against her wind-pipe did her mind catch up to the situation.

"Guh!" The Juggernaut gasped, her hands immediately shooting to the noose around her throat, grabbing hold and attempting to jerk the arm free away as best she could with her inferior position.

Well...that worked. Not that she was complaining but after the girls good resistance she half expected something to go wrong there, like her missing a step or taking a knee in the back. Either way she had her opponent right where she wanted and was beginning to think this might be better for her. Maybe she couldn't slug it put with this chick but outwrestle her looked more possible.

Pulling on her head and squeezing it as she tried to move her legs around and get a better angle she smirked as Cecilia struggled. "Come on..you know how to actually wrestle don't ya?" Julia said as she would look at her arm reaching out to try and stop her before she attempted to grab it and pull on it for an arm lock. Trying to keep working th elimbs of her opponent while she had her down on the floor.

"Rrrgh... Don't think... you've got an upperhand...." The German growled as the woman taunted her for her inexperience. Heh... She was going to pay for every little insult she threw her way. So what if she got caught in a basic hold? It was nothing she couldn't just muscle her way out of! The Armlock she was now put into was painful, yes, but hardly anything she couldn't out-fight. This cocky little red-head had her in a very annoying position to be sure, but she had released her grip on her head by taking an arm hostage... One might think controlling the opponent's limbs were omni-important, but not if your influence is divided among them. This woman couldn't hope to out-muscle the juggernaut... Even less so now that her head was free.

Cicilia craned her neck forward, pressing her forehead against the mat as if she was suffering form the lock before suddenly throwing her head back in an attempt to slam into the woman's face and force her to release her grip.... It was an awkward counter-attack but it was what she could do with the position she was in...

"Oh calm down I just have the hand...well technically the arm." She said cranking on the girls arm in an effort to try and crank her opponents arm. Though Cicilia was clearly out of place here she was still struggling to get free as she wretched back from the hold as Julia tried to stay on top of her opponent. However Cicilia quickly changed things up as she intended to come up and attempt to nail her across the head with the back of hers.

"Agghh!" Julia groaned as she was knocked back and felt stunned for a second as her grip grew weaker before the redhead tried to pull away from her opponent before she powered out of the hold and start to move in towards the attack once more.

Cicilia grinned in satisfaction as her head crashed into the red-head's nose, sending her reeling and giving the boxer enough time to roll to her feet. The Girl seemed more shaken by the hit than she expected, retreating readily before she could have this situation turned against her. A smart move if a cautious one... This girl seemed to be the opposite of her fighting style, far more attune with grappling than slugging it out, more cautious and less straight-forward... Perhaps her opponent thought she was the same way and that's how she's been caught off guard so many times in this fight....

Such an assumption would be her undoing.

As the girl backed away, eager for space, Cicilia matched her pace, chasing her pray towards the borders of the ring, wanting to keep her active, mobile, afraid... It was so much easier to run someone down when they were too afraid to set up and reinforce their position... So much unnecessary conflict avoided in these situations... Suddenly, the boxer would dash towards the girl, throwing a flurry of quick and devastating jabs and crosses to the woman's head and stomach, attempting to force her back and rip apart her guard in the process. Such was the flurry of blows that if the girl wanted to get a hit in or go for a grapple, she'd have to weather the swarm of fists, taking quite a few in the process...

If she attempted to slip away again, say under or to the sides, the German would make an attempt to meet her at every potential escape point with a powerful over-hand punch, punishing her for even daring to attempt an escape... Cicilia had made a painful box to escape from... Now would she meet her head on....? Or flee to the ropes...?
