Berenice Wolf vs Raul Tejada

Berenice grinned when their knee's collided, then barely ducked the kick, feeling the wind blow her hair around as the leg passed over her. She dashed forwards, firing an uppercut at his ribs with her right fist, throwing it fast and hard. Afterwards, she fired feinted a left hook and and launched an elbow at his jaw, a wild smile spreading itself across her face.

"I suppose that's true. We can focus on the fight then. Nice kick by the way" she said, grinning excitedly and keeping her guard up but making she she could see all 4 of his limbs. That kick probably would have snapped her neck like a twig, which sent a shiver down her spine, which made her even more excited. The thought that she could die, and it wouldn't be in some underground Yakuza fight club, but in front of hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions, sent an excited shock up her spine.

It was now set in concrete in her mind. This fight would be one she would not forget.

Raul's kick arched up over the woman's head like a scythe barely above a stalk of wheat, the man swiftly whirling around with his momentum... and just in time too! Berenice gave the former gangster barely any time to breath, one punch shooting UP into his stomach, forcing out a small grunt... and then a strong elbow SLAMMING across his jaw, sending him stumbling back a step! Blinking rapidly for a moment to get all these annoying stars out of his eyes, it was only when his senses returned to him did he notice the faint taste of copper in his mouth... a tiny trickle of red escaping down the corner of his mouth... Heh... Already? Well, at least he knew what he was up against. Bringing his thump up to his lips, Raul would wipe away the red into the black leather of his gloves, the man returning to his stance... and slowly approaching his opponent...

"Indeed." He agreed, his eyes locked firmly on his foe. "I have had enough opportunities to practice it..." The moment he stopped speaking, the mexican LASHED out with a lightning quick PUNCH across Berenice's face, intent on striking her with the FULL extent of his arm! Should that heavy punch land, he would withdraw his arm shockingly quick grabbing the woman by her arm and PULLING her into a MASSIVE clothesline intended to lay her FLAT on her back! Despite his calm and carefree demeanor, Raul didn't intend to be pushed around... Large, bulky body or no, Berenice wasn't the first girl to lay such a... potent first impression upon him...

She wouldn't be catching him off guard a second time...

Berenice tried to raise her arms to block it, but he was too quick. The blow rocked her and caused her head to snap back. Next she found an arm practically wrapping itself around her throat, which threw her to the ground with incredible force. Her head throbbed from impacting the mat with a crash. She found herself slightly dazed. She had to get faster. All the people...well, most, had been faster than her, and in a couple cases, stronger. She wouldn't last long here if she didn't improve herself, and could even be seen as what those around her called a "Jobber" which meant their entire purpose was to lose. Something she couldn't let happen, or else her pride would take a knock she'd never recover from. Winning this fight would help make that horrific future a false reality.

She stared up at the bright lights. They were warm on her face, causing a couple beads of sweat to slip down her forehead. She went to stand back to her feet, the dazed feeling she'd had having left her. Should she get to her knee's. she'd launch herself like a rocket and try to take him down, or possible deliver an elbow to his ribs, then follow that up with an uppercut, hopefully bringing him to the ground, which would allow her to begin pounding him with her fists, elbows, and knee's.

Berenice went down hard but she came up fast, not one to stay down for long! While she did take a moment to get to her knees (One Raul used to back up), She SHOT up and tried to tackle the Mexican down, to beat on him until he collapsed under her power for even more punishment! Perhaps even sensing such a brutish strategy, Raul had put some distance between himself and his tanned, muscly opponent, Raul RAISING his knee to SLAM into Berenice's jaw as SOON as she tried to close it!

Should his attack connect (or not) and Berenice kept coming for him, the Mexican fighter would do his best to maintain his stance, is arms bouncing around his body like electrons around an atom, doing their damndest to keep Berenice's killer blows off of him! He stepped back out of the way of the woman's elbows, the woman's arms RIPPING at the air in front of his abs as if they would've CUT right through him should he have stayed! The uppercut GRAZED his chin as he stepped back once more, giving Berenice all the ground she could've wanted as he bent backwards, tilting head head back JUST in time to keep it from being knocked off!

"You're quite savage..." He'd note dryly, hopping back another couple of steps... feeling the lower rope touch his leg. "Truly an unrelenting force..."

Berenice had expected him to try something, A kick maybe,, or moving quickly out of the way and perhaps locking her in a submission, but not a Knee. It impacted her nose and sent her flying back, and she found herself once again staring up at the ceiling, this time however the world spun around her. Her jaw thumped with pain and a warm liquid fell from her nose. Bastard She thought, anger coming to the top of the emotions she felt. This damned Fast son of a bitch, then again, Its more of a fight than that Bitch gave me Her face momentarily changed to one of extreme anger, which must have been confusing to Raul.

Her mind was a mess. Her thoughts went in circles, over and over, as if lost in a Labyrinth, until after about 10 seconds, the affect the knee had had on her, passed. Should Raul jump on her now, in her still slightly groggy state, She would be a sitting duck, as much as she disliked that saying, it was apt given her situation. She could resist, certainly, but her State would make an effective, efficient resistance unlikely. It would be sloppy, and be relying on her Brute Strength. Most of the time it worked, but she didn't think it would this time, not against Raul, Then again, not against *most* people in AFW she assumed, given the odd people she'd come across. Most of them being enhanced in someway or just weirdly tough or strong, especially that one chick that emitted fire when she was pissed off. How the fuck was she still alive?

Raul's attacks had left Berenice stunned, groggy and completely out of it, her dexterity and fluidity completely collapsing as she struggled to recover. What a good opportunity to attack and completely take the advantage away from her!... And so he would! The Mexican would exploit Berenice's disorientation by going low upon her so-called "unbreakable abs", first hammering into them with a BLISTERING uppercut... before whirling around and SCYTHING across her jaw with a BRUTAL reverse roundhouse kick! Should his attacks fail to knock her over (which was what he was hoping for), He would SLAM his fist mercilessly into the woman's side, working around her bulwark-of-a-belly and hopefully striking at a softer target!

"You must remain on your toes, my lady..." Raul chastized gently, as he threw a HUGE punch right into Berenice's nose, aiming to flatten it against her face! "Otherwise... things get unpleasant..."

Unpleasant how? Well, Raul would keep up the pressure, throwing out a quick barrage of kicks to mix things up, one aimed to SLAM into the side of the woman's calf before pulling back and THRUSTING OUT into her chest, his boot aimed to smash RIGHT into the center of both of her breasts! Should the impact send her stumbling back, he would CHARGE straight at the tanned blonde, JUMPING at the last possible second and SHOOTING out his legs in a VICIOUS drop-kick into her upper chest/breastbone, aiming to take her down completely! Raul would quickly hop up should this connect, letting out a soft sigh of contentment, feeling his blood really start to pump, his energy starting to climb.

"Indeed, my lady..." He would murmur, lightly hopping in place, hands held out before him in a combative stance. "Very unpleasant...."

As Berenice got up, she found an uppercut being slammed into her Abs and a kick to her jaw causing her to spin round, the momentum putting her back to face him, after which he slammed a fist into her side. She coughed from the punch which sent blood spattering onto the ring, and groaned but the onslaught was not done yet. Not by a long shot. "fast fucker" she thought as she grabbed her side

She didn't hear his quip, though she knew it annoyed her, but she didn't have time to dwell on it as a fist impacted her nose, during which she could swear she heard a crack, The bleeding of her nose worsened, the flow increasing in speed "Not aga-" she thought, when a blur of kicks smashed into her and cut off her ability to think. One into one of her calves, which caused to her to fall to a knee and grit her teeth, and then a kick that was meant for her chest, hit just above her eye, the shoes he wore having slipped or something, as she felt some blood pouring from the newly formed cut. The blow caused her to fly back onto the mat in a spin and blood fell over her left eye. The impact from falling spread crimson red onto said mat, her world once again spun above her and she was dazed. "This isn't good, not at all" she thought, trying to make sense of things

She found herself looking around (as best she could anyways) and found herself reaching for the rope. Should she take hold, she'd drag herself out so she can take a 5 second rest, and would hope he'd allow such a thing, but she wasn't that confident about it...it was however, the only way she'd be able to clear her head and try to clear her eye of blood
