Dreams of Grandeur: Rena vs Jean (COMPLETE)

Rena almost gagged as the pain became almost intolerable. She managed to strangle a new scream before it was born, but her hands were beginning to flail wildly, her mind clouded. She fought her panic, forced her body under firm control before crawling inch by inch towards the ropes, trying to endure Jean's punishment long enough to get to safety, trailing sweat and tears and blood all the way.

Almost there, she though as her fingers came within inches and then centimeters of the ropes. Just a little more..

Her first stab at the ropes missed. Her second lost its grip. But her third and last try managed to abort her other hand's tapping surrender on the mat. Her fellow referee now came to her rescue with a timely "Rope break!"

Jean was shocked and turned around, letting Rena's ankles slip out of ehr slack grip and staring unbelivably at the gripped rope.

Release was sweet relief. Rena knew this period of grace was only temporary. Jean would soon attack her again. So she sucked in as much air as she could while inventorying her remaining strength. Can I still get up?

No, her body seemed to reply. She lay there, human flotsam, bruised and bloodied, waiting helplessly for Jean's next move.

Jean sighed and backed away shaking her head. Rena was trying so hard that jean was concerned the girl might be doing undue damage to herself. She would wait to see if the ref checked on her and signalled it was ok for match to continue.

Only if he did would jean come and reach down to grab rena's foot and drag her to middle of the ring.

Rena trailed sweat and blood all the way to the middle of the ring. She was ripe for finishing whatever way Jean wanted, despite what Rena herself wanted.

It's... it's over... for me..

Once Jean had dragged Rena to the center of the ring she would flip her over on her back. Jean then pointed theatrically down at rena's fallen form to get a cheer from crowd. She was going to try a different move.

She went over to climb to the top of the post, almost taking her time. She stopped at the middle rope and held ehr arms out for crowd to receive another pop. Then she climbed to the top and turned to survey Rena.

Rena lacked the strength to brace herself or even flinch at the coming blow. She could hear the crowd roaring, knew something huge was coming up. But aside from being flipped onto her back, Jean hadn't done anything to her. Her opponent had even walked away from her.

Walked away? To where?

Oh, no.

But she couldn't move anymore, couldn't roll away, and couldn't see the attack coming anyway, being blinded by her pain and shut eyelids.

This was going to hurt like hell.

Jean saw that Rena was lying there. She spread her arms to the crowd showily and then jumped through the air intending to bring her knee down hard across Rena's chest.

Rena expected the final blow to land on her belly. Not like she had any strength left to actually defend herself.

Psychologically, though, the shock factor made Jean's landing on Rena's breasts even more devastating.

"Guwaaaahhhhh!"

She could almost swear she was coughing blood, though only spittle came out of her mouth. Her breasts felt like they'd just taken a sharp blow across from Shizuka's illegal wooden sword.

Rena spasmed, once, and then her green pupils vanished into her eyelids as her whites rolled up, signalling she'd lost consciousness.

Jean rolled away holding ehr leg close to herself after the impact of that landing. At this time the referee might be obliged to check on Rena and if this happened, and Rena was indeed found to be kncoked out, this might end the match right there.
