Double Debut! JJ vs. Pantha

JJ bounced back up after sending Pantha to the mat, pumping a fist in the air as she sent Pantha to the mat and she wanted to try to show off a bit! JJ ran towards the ropes and jumped up onto the middle rope, bouncing off in a spinning leap! JJ was trying to springboard moonsault her way right back on top of the downed Pantha to try to add a bit of flash with impactful offense before attempting a pin!

JJ might have been elated to slam the Beast of the Ring down onto the canvas following their back and forth, but her inexperience was already showing. With the time it took to spring up to her feet, run off to the ropes and backflip off she could have held Pantha's shoulders down for a quick pin which while it probably wouldn't have ended the match it would hurt a lot less when it went wrong.

The masked grappler had more than enough sense and time to roll out of the way of JJ's aerial manoeuvre and back up to her feet, it was just a question of whether JJ was quick enough in the air to realise what was going to happen before it was too late.

JJ soared and came crashing down hard onto the mat abdomen-first! JJ let out a pained, wheezing sound as she knocked the wind out of herself leaving her crumpled up into a ball as she cradled her abdomen in her arms! JJ had failed to land the moonsault and that was going to cost her. JJ was wincing and unable to get up, wide open to counterattack by the veteran Pantha.

One of the first things people learned about jumping off the ropes was why they were called "high risk" moves, and hopefully JJ took enough from that Crash Course to learn for next time. Still, the Beast of the Ring couldn't let herself just think about the rookie's future, she had a match to win and a golden opportunity to do so. Whatever crowd were expecting the big woman to do to the fallen JJ, it probably didn't involve propping her smaller opponent up on her hands and knees so the masked amazon could roll over the top and spin the rookie's shoulders to the mat with a Magistral rollup. Not every move that could end a match needed to be flashy.

JJ felt herself grabbed and rolled over, still hurting and trying to process what was going on. She was in a haze and the pain she felt was considerable to say the least.

"ONE!"

Well that answered that. JJ began to frantically struggle now knowing where to direct her energy given her position. She was finally getting her bearings when the count continued.

"TWO!"

JJ screamed and thrust out with all her strength breaking the pin count right at two, flopping over onto the mat and struggling to come up with a good gameplan. She only knew she wanted to make it back up to her feet before Pantha could do anything else to her!

To be honest, Pantha would have been seriously disappointed if that had been the end of the match there and then, but the younger wrestler still had enough fire in her to force her way out of the pin at the count of two and struggle back to her feet as the Beast of the Ring rose up with her. But just because she had a little pride in the rookie for kicking out didn't mean the masked wrestler was about to let off the pressure as she reached down to scoop JJ up by the thigh, lifting her up into the air over her shoulder before giving her a basic bodyslam to send her back down to the canvas.

JJ felt herself grabbed and knew what was coming. She grunted and hooked her leg around Pantha's to halt the lift! "Girl is this what you were trying to do?" JJ said, slamming a fist into the abdomen of Pantha before grabbing hold of the taller wrestler and heaving her up into the air to try to slam her down instead! JJ was not done and Pantha was going to find this out the hard way when she landed on the mat.

Pantha had a good couple inches on the smaller JJ, she wasn't expecting to face this much resistance in lifting her up off her feet, the hook around her leg was an annoying but effective way of stuffing any attempts at slamming her "Trying to get you -ugh!" The masked wrestler grunted as she found her response cut short with a pounding fist to her stretched out abs. In Pantha's dogged determination to get JJ up, she had no chance to brace herself for the blow and while she was stuck recoiling, it was the rookies' turn to attempt a slam. Once again sweeping the Beast of the Ring off her feet, in order to drop her down to the canvas.

JJ jumped up and bent over to pull Pantha back up to her feet. "You may be taller but girl I got more power in my thick fit body than you!" JJ said before trying to lunge into Pantha lowering her shoulder to battering ram her in the chest, hoping to send her right back down to the mat! JJ was really doing her best to keep on top of a more experienced wrestler but that was certainly a task easier said than done. While trying to look confident she really was anxious, knowing that any slip up could cost her dearly.

With a partially pained/partially annoyed grunt, Pantha was picked up on to her feet for the rookie to just try and tackle her down again. JJ had some serious power in her and the crowd was amazed at how well she was essentially bullying the taller and more muscular looking masked wrestler around the ring, driving her back down with a thud as the Beast of the Ring's thighs reached up to trap her in a guard position instead of just being flattened down, mixing some BJJ skills in against JJ.
