Rita's first catch.

Haruko smiled and lifted her arms up. "Lets start even. Lock arms up with me and we'll compare our upper strength." She said, curling her fingers as she waited for the kawaii. "Hee... this is a bit off topic, but I really like your hair.."

Rita approached the catgirl. She grabbed her shoulders at the same time that hers were grabbed, and she started pushing steadily. She kept looking at Haruko; more specifically, at her ears. For some reason, they enticed her. "Thanks. Your hair is... also nice." She shoke off her distraction soon, though; she had to keep her act, and if it went well she'd have all the time in the world to stare at those ears.

Haruko noticed where she was staring, and grinned, trying to step in closer towards her as she was busy looking at her ears, even giving them a little wiggle as she moved in, and tried to hook one of her own legs in between Rita's, hooking around Rita's left leg, and then she'd grab for Rita's head, and would try to tuck and roll her into a small package pin right off the bat!

In a normal match, this wouldn't be a very effective move to start off with, but then again Haruko was wanting to teach her a few moves, and she figured that would be a good one to teach her for now.

Rita yelped in surprise as she was suddenly rolled into a ball. She wasn't giving it her best effort in this spar, but she at least could not stand to be pinned so soon. She'd wriggle around quickly, probably getting out of the pin even before the first "count" came in.

"Sorry," she muttered, "I was too slow."

Haruko smiled a little. "It's ok. " She replied after Rita kicked out, and started to get back up to her feet. "We're both supposed to be learning here, so you come at me with whatever you have, ok?"

Rita got under her feet too, and nodded at the catgirl. Her next move would be a bit uncharacteristic of her: she would charge at Haruko and tackle her, using her speed and weight to try to bring her to the mat. Rita wouldn't usually use such a brash move, especially against an opponent that hadn't undergone any attacks yet, but she judged Haruko kind enough to not counterattack what she thought was an undertrained kawaii.

Haruko braced herself as Rita charged in, and took the tackle head on. She fell to her back, but she would bring Rita down with her with a small mew. From there she'd try to wrap her legs around her waist.

"Basic bodyscissors, not much to talk about there..." She commented.

Rita felt Haruko's legs around her waist, but for now didn't do anything to pry them apart, letting them rest where they were. Instead, Rita would try to get an arm behind Haruko's head while pressing her free forearm against her neck, executing a front choke. She would keep choking Haruko lightly, intending to tire her out a bit.

Haruko let Rita get an arm behind her head, and choked a little in the submission. "Ck... front choke? Not bad..." She commented, and then started to crush down hard around Rita's waist to try and make her let go.

Rita endured the pressure on her midsection. "Thanks..." The kawaii responded by pressing on her choke progressively stronger. She would arrive at a point where it would be challenging for Haruko to keep breathing normally, then stop increasing the strength. She didn't plan to take her down yet, still having a potentially dangerous scissors around her waist preventing her from revealing herself.
