Alaina managed to land the hit but right when she was moving to adjust and try to keep piling on she felt a sharp strike right to the back of her knees! Alaina stumbled forward, landing on her hands and knees. She gasped and shook her head, how was this happening? She was letting things slip away once more. As she was in disbelief, the feeling of shock only grew along with her agony as Charlotte was on her, wrapping her arm around Alaina's neck to try to choke her out from behind!

Alaina gagged and gasped, jolting herself straight up as she grabbed on to Charlotte's arm to try to pry it off. The struggling amazon was not going to let this happen. She couldn't let things slip from her grasp. She let out a loud scream as she stood up to her feet. Her face was red from a lack of air but she had to power through, her title defense depended on it. She stood up and kept Charlotte on her back before running backward at full speed to crash Charlotte against the turnbuckle!

Alaina needed to recover, but she couldn't let Charlotte do the same. Alaina had to keep pushing on, not stopping until Charlotte was done and the amazon was still standing. She was going to do whatever it took to prove she was the alpha woman, the top wrestler in the ring and not only because of the belt hanging above the ring.

However Alaina was far from done. She wanted to do what she failed to do at Avalanche. She would turn around and grab Charlotte by the hair, taking hold of her opponents head and shoving it between her legs. She howled as she grabbed Charlotte by the waist, trying to lift her up while symbolically trying to silence her own doubts about facing Charlotte. Alaina was going to turn and send Charlotte to the mat with the biggest, hardest amabomb she could muster in her current state!

Perhaps in a different situation, Charlotte would thought three times before tried to go on an attempt to strangle Alaina. But now she was counting on the fact that her rival had almost no strength left. Charlotte judged about many things from her own experience. And now she thought that if someone caught her in a choke hold at this stage of the match, she would hardly be able to break it. Therefore, this solution seemed to her very effective. The Frenchwoman was going to squeeze out of the champion all that she had left in order to finally defeat her. But...

No. No no no. It can't be. Charlotte couldn't believe the Amazon was getting to her feet. She just couldn't strain her arms more than that. Given her current state, she's already gone beyond what is possible. She simply could not strengthen this hold even more. The body of the young woman was trembling, she did not believe that her rival could withstand so much. This is simply not possible.

But, as it turned out, everything was possible. The champion backed away and before the Frenchwoman could let her go, Charlotte's body crashed into the corner. Even at the best of times, it was unpleasant. But now, when Alaina's body crushed the body of emaciated Charlotte, it literally took from her everything that she managed to save for the last stage of the match. As soon as the pressure from Alaina's body eased, the pink-haired woman fell to her hands and knees. She tried to breathe. She tried to gather strength. But before her eyes there was only fog. She realized that she had failed. She did not have the strength to continue to attack.

But Alaina had the strength for this. Even through the fog, Charlotte felt pain the moment her rival grabbed her hair. How she hated it... of course, perhaps, this was the most common practice in the ring, but that did not mean that she had to come to terms with it. But this was not the biggest problem for the Frenchwoman now. She already guessed what was about to happen. It was as clear as day to her. And she was right.

In one motion, the Amazon moved the head of the pink-haired woman between her sweaty thighs, and in a moment she lifted Charlotte onto her shoulders. Again this feeling. She bumped into the wall again. And if the last time she felt that she was ready to break this wall, then this time she did not find the strength to even try. Just one small touch to this wall hit her with such force that her morale was almost completely destroyed. Somewhere deep in her subconscious, Charlotte tried to find a way to win. But the fire in her soul was almost completely turned into coals.

"Was too close to the sun..." a thought rang through her head.

The wind whistling in her ears made her realize that this was the end. Her body slammed into the mat with such force that it bounced back into the air before the young woman finally lay flat on the mat with her arms outstretched wide. Her body twitched convulsively, she could not control it. Her rival's finisher was one of those things that were only created to destroy. And it was useless to try to refute this.

Charlotte's mind was covered with darkness, she could hardly hear anything around. Her whole body was soaked through with pain. She tried to force herself to do something. She desperately tried to find the strength to make even one move. But her search led nowhere. She barely managed to regain consciousness, she was still here. But this made no sense, since the contender was crushed and could not oppose anything to her mighty rival, who was approaching to put the last point.

Alaina sent Charlotte crashing to the mat with a huge amabomb and the champion began to stumble towards the ladder feeling as though there was no way Charlotte could recover in time. No. She thought the same thing at Avalanche and look out that ended up. There was more to do otherwise Charlotte was going to pull off a comeback win against the amazon at a big PPV once again. Alaina was determined for that not to happen.

Alaina grabbed Charlotte and again took control of her head shoving it between her legs. There was no way in hell Charlotte or anyone would be able to recover from two amabombs in a row! No way. Alaina grabbed Charlotte around the waist once more. This was going to be her vindication in the form of a powerful second amabomb back-to-back with the first one she just successfully landed.

Alaina took a deep break tensing up her body. Normally lifting was not a struggle for a woman of Alaina's side as well as her build. However this match was so taxing that the act of lifting Charlotte up caused her to tremble and sway. Alaina was determined not to be deterred however and with a mighty grunt she lift Charlotte up high, onto her shoulders and clearly in position for another amabomb!

SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel - Page 8 Empty Re: SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel

Post by skip-stop Thu Jul 29, 2021 9:42 pm

Move… you have to… you won't get another chance…” the shards of her mind were still trying to make her body move.

But even her willpower was not enough at that moment. The only thing Charlotte had the strength to do was open her eyes. A bright light broke through the fog and blinded her. A few weeks ago, Astrid dragged her into a bar to celebrate the upcoming Summer Splash. The next morning, the Frenchwoman woke up with a terrible migraine. Those days seemed so far away now. There was always a competitive spirit between her and Astrid. And while Charlotte was ready to question this, many believed that Astrid was one step ahead of the Frenchwoman.

This statement never hurt the pink-haired woman, she took it very calmly, especially considering that now she had more winning sparrings on her account. But now, as she lay under Alaina's feet, Charlotte wondered that if Astrid, who was admittedly one step ahead, got the right to fight for the world title, then maybe everything would have happened differently. Now Charlotte could only taste decay in her mouth.

For the second time, she felt pain because the champion grabbed her hair. Perhaps it wasn't necessary. Charlotte was not sure if she would have found the strength to get to her feet if the American woman decided to climb the ladder. But Alaina decided not to risk it. She was determined to finish off the Frenchwoman for sure before getting to the belt. Nice tactics. Winner tactics. The tactics of a true champion. Charlotte only slightly twitched her hands at the moment when her head was again between the champion's thighs.

It was more than ironic. Despite the fact that she never made long-term plans and tried not to think about possible options of the future, she believed that she was going forward all this time. She was confident that she was taking the right step every day. Discipline. Self-control. Self-improvement. She honed her skills in order to surpass her rival. She constantly heard that her aspirations were meaningless and that no talent would help her. And she refused to listen about it. And at some point, even Victoria believed that Charlotte would be able to achieve her goals. But on the most important day, at the most crucial moment... all this was not enough.

The Frenchwoman's body turned over, and she again found herself on the shoulders of her rival. That's all. The path she went through led to this moment. She even heard the audience shouting. They were sure it was over. After all, the fact that no one was able to get up after two Alaina finishers in a row was pure truth. Charlotte closed her eyes, accepting her fate.

Show them what you deserve,” Victoria's words sounded.
Only victory,” Astrid's words sounded.
You can handle it,” Margarita's words sounded.

It was these three people who believed in her the most. None of them had any doubts that Charlotte would be the one to take this top thanks to her talent, and not thanks to endless attempts. And did she really have the moral right to fail them? Lily said that it took her years to learn how to apply the last breath technique several times in a row. And in such a short time, Charlotte has never been able to use it twice, although the Englishwoman was able to pull this trick three times in one match, albeit with great difficulty. But now, when she remembered all those warm words of support...

Charlotte relaxed her lungs as much as possible, and then with a whistle inhaled the maximum amount of air in an instant. This time the sensations were different. Now that her body was at its limit, she felt as if she had been electrocuted. Her mind was cleared, but every cell of her body seemed to be pierced by a needle. Time. She shouldn't waste time. The pink-haired woman joined her palms in a lock, and then she was about to drop her hands down sharply in order to hit the crown of the champion's head with a double axe handle.

She is lucky that her legs have always been her main strength. Despite the fact that she had lost the right to call herself a master, she was still capable of flexibility. The Frenchwoman could do the perfect split. And therefore, if she could stun the Amazon even for one moment, she would spread her legs to the sides in order to jump off the shoulders of the American woman. Her heart was about to escape from her ribcage. And she felt that the oxygen that she received was already running out. She had only a few moments left before she faced the consequences.

Charlotte's eyes flashed in the spotlights. She seemed to be surrounded by a certain aura. She entered this ring not so that Alaina could indulge her conceit. The new generation is always superior to the previous one. And Charlotte was determined to prove that the talent and hard work on herself is enough to surpass a large number of matches. The young woman has never used this technique before, but now she straightened her fingers on her left palm and tensed them.

"SHANNAROOOOOOOO!!!" this match could not have gone without her battle cry.

The young woman was about to take a step forward and then send the base of her left palm into Alaina's solar plexus. This Katare technique was called hidari shotei and with it Charlotte intended to not only knock the air out of her opponent's lungs, but also make her bend in half. Because if successful, she knew how she would spend the last drop of her strength. If she could get Alaina to bend forward, she would put her arms under the champion's arms, fixing a double underhook hold. Not a year later. Not tomorrow. Today. Today she will become the champion. With a tired groan that was filled with pain, she set out to lift her opponent above the mat, turning her upside down. Letting go of her opponent's arms, she was going to grab Alaina's waist, and then fall into a sitting position, sending the champion's body to meet the mat. She called it the Lizard's adaptation and with this finisher Charlotte was determined to show what she worth. She was not here to lose, not to be a step in someone's career ladder. She was here to start a new chapter in the history of the world title.

SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel - Page 8 Empty Re: SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel

Alaina lift Charlotte up feeling like this was going to be it.... she could not have been more mistaken! The axe handle to the head caused Alaina to stumble as Charlotte dropped down and struck her chest. Alaina was dazed and hunched forward now, stunned and her body not working as she was just barely conscious enough to know what was going on.

The dread feeling of her never being able to fly put Charlotte away flooded back, and history was repeating itself once more! Alaina was in Charlotte's grasp and lift up into the air, her head and body crashing painfully to the canvas below! Her body went into some thrashing spasms as the nearly unconscious amazon writhed before it went limp.

She wanted to move, she tried to move but in her confused state she was just laying there motionless. She could not believe what was happening. Charlotte again found it in her to send Alaina down after Alaina hit one of her two best most potent moves. She moaned in pain, that noise the only sign of life she showed after hitting the mat.

How could this happen? Alaina was better than this wasn't she? Based on the visual image presented to the audience right now she wasn't. She was down, out and looking quite pathetic. She managed to let out a long, low groan, her leg kicking the mat once before she was again motionless and silent on the canvas.

SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel - Page 8 Empty Re: SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel

Her rival's body collided with the mat with a crash. And at that moment Charlotte could not resist a tired smile. She herself did not believe that she had found the strength to do it. But she was still here. At that moment, when it seemed that the forces finally left her, she was able to cross the last line. She wanted them to remember this. She was going to be the first champion in a long time who didn't have to grab her opponent by the hair or use dirty moves to win. When she takes this belt, they will remember her as a truly worthy champion who went this way from beginning to end, retaining her honor and dignity.

At least she thought so. But there was one small problem. Charlotte was forced to exhale all the carbon dioxide from her lungs, and along with this, the rest of the oxygen came out of her lungs. It was a loan she took out to surpass the Amazon. And now she was forced to pay the bills with interest. She felt the pressure in her head increase, she felt a wild tinnitus. The light in front of her eyes darkened and her body began to tilt to the side.

The young woman collapsed onto the mat. It was difficult to tell if she was conscious or not due to the fact that she did not show signs of movement. But in fact, the pink-haired woman was still here. She just couldn't bring herself to move. The consequences of the breathing technique were just as serious as Lily had described to her. With a little bit of power, you had to pay for it. And now Charlotte's body was so exhausted that even though her eyes were open, she could see nothing but darkness.

"You can't stop now," she thought to herself, "you found the strength to throw her down. But now you have to do the hardest thing. You have to get to the waist. You have to win. Get up, Charlotte!"

She tried to take a breath. And it hurt. After the finisher of her rival, Charlotte felt like her body had gone through a meat grinder. She managed to forget about it for a few moments, but now all feelings are back to normal. She felt a terrible pain in her right shoulder, but the worst of all things were with her back and spine. Even breathing was terribly difficult because of this. Inhale. Another inhale. The darkness before her eyes parted for a second.

She saw the ladder in front of her. The metal structure was a few meters away from the young woman. Inhale. Another inhale. She must to get to the ladder. She must to get to the belt. She must win. She must become a champion. Inhale. Another Inhale. Charlotte put her shaking hands on the mat. Every movement was like self-flagellation. Her body did not want to move, her body wanted to give up, her body wanted to rest. But she didn't care what her body wanted. The pink-haired woman was going to be the one who put the final point. The story of how a newbie surpassed a veteran. That sounds good. Everyone will remember this forever.

And for this she was ready for anything. With a groan, Charlotte got up on all fours. At first she thought that she should get to her feet, but now she realized that she simply could not do it. The light before her eyes was constantly turning into darkness and back. She was on the verge of losing consciousness. Inhale. Another inhale. She began to crawl forward on all fours. Her long pink hair has long since turned into an incomprehensible pile of wool. Her chin was covered in blood. Almost every part of the body was covered with bruises. But she crawled forward.

Her hand reached the first step of the ladder. Charlotte heard her heartbeat. The victory was so close, she felt it. She looked up. The golden belt. Her goal. And she was going to get to that goal. This story was about this moment. All that remains is to write the last few paragraphs. Charlotte grabbed the second step and pulled her body up to her knees. Up. Her path leads up. Inhale. Another inhale. Staggering, she began to climb the ladder. A little bit more. Just a little bit more and she will prove that she was worthy to be in this ring. Just a little bit more and she will prove that she deserves to be a champion.

SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel - Page 8 Empty Re: SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel

Post by HighFly Fri Jul 30, 2021 2:20 pm

Alaina could hear the echoing sound of the crowd as she rolled to her stomach.  She felt like her body was on fire.  Her head especially throbbed, her vision was fuzzy and hear ears rang.  Alaina could barely see that Charlotte had begun to climb the ladder.  Alaina flopped back to the mat, unable to believe what had just happened.  As Charlotte climbed Alaina moved her arms and legs, starting a crawl to the other side of the ladder.

She knew there were still people who thought stemming from her days in the Higurashi dojo that she got chances she didn't deserve. She knew there were plenty who looked at the long gap between titles of proof that she hit her ceiling, that she wasn't good enough to amount to anything other than a solid Entropy champion that wouldn't succeed at the top of the card. She knew there were a lot of rising starts who thought she had her chance and fell short, needing to move aside so people who deserved success more than her regardless of the work she put in could get their due. She shoved all that aside in her mind focusing only on one thing: Continuing on and trying to keep up the fight.

Alaina's progress was slow as every move seemed to cause her aching body even more pain but she couldn't stop.  Charlotte had pulled off the shock comeback last time.  This was Alaina's turn.  She grunted as she slowly made her way to the set of rungs opposite where Charlotte was.  Charlotte was already a few steps up the ladder leaving Alaina to scramble to catch up.  As she grabbed hold of the bottom run the attempt to pull herself up was monumental.  Her body was about to give out but she couldn't let herself lose at the last second again.  She was going to show the world that she was a worthy champion, not some undeserving champion who cheated and won that way.

She could do this, she had to do this.  Alaina pulled, her other arm reaching for the second rung as she finally started to get her legs underneath her.  The rungs of the ladder she kept gripping were finally helping her stand up.  With a great effort she reached up putting her left foot on the bottom rung while her right rose up to the second.  Her arms slowly reached up one after another as the amazon finally was standing and climbing slowly, painfully up the ladder.  Charlotte was ahead of her and it was up to Alaina to fight through all the pain coursing throughout her body to climb as quickly as she could.  Her best pace was not fast by any means.  Alaina groaned as she kept trying looking up to see Charlotte ahead of her getting close to the top and the title hanging overhead.

This was taxing and Alaina was using what was left of her strength to climb.  She had no idea what she was going to do once she got there. Would she have enough left to even fight and stop Charlotte?  She would have to find out.  If Alaina stopped all was lost.  She kept going at whatever pace her agonized body allowed.

SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel - Page 8 Empty Re: SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel

Post by skip-stop Fri Jul 30, 2021 3:09 pm

Charlotte's vision barely allowed her to see the small area in front of her. And maybe she wouldn't have noticed it at all. But the noise of the audience made her understand that something was happening. And deep down she already knew what it was. The young woman lowered her head. Of course. Damn of course. Alaina was already at the bottom of the ladder. Due to her condition, the Frenchwoman did not notice that the champion was still able to move. But now it was obvious that Charlotte was ahead of Alaina by only a few steps of the ladder.

She wanted to scream out of desperation. She could not understand why she managed to win two other matches, but during the most important match, which had to decide who would be the winner of this rivalry, her strength was not enough to leave her opponent down? These thoughts were like a lump in her throat that was preventing her from breathing.

Huffing and puffing with exhaustion, Charlotte tried to accelerate. It wasn't easy, but she tried. But after a few moments it became clear that this did not make any sense, she could not get ahead of the American woman enough to get the opportunity to take the belt. Charlotte stopped at the top of the ladder. If she held out her hand, she could reach the waist. How badly she wanted it... how badly she wanted to touch it... how badly she wanted to take it...

But that would leave her open, she knew it. But it was a terrible feeling. It was incredibly difficult. Now her goal was within arm's reach, but she couldn't take it. So close. And so far. There was only one obstacle to be removed. The only obstacle that ever mattered. Through the pain, Charlotte clenched her fists and glanced at her rival.

This was the very last paragraph. Now she understood it. And whoever writes the last line will be the winner. The winner of the match. The winner of the rivalry. The winner of the battle of views. The winner will be the only true champion. And Charlotte was determined to be the one to take the pen and write that last line, because otherwise everything she did to get to this point would be destroyed. Everything she worked for will sink into oblivion. No, she won't let this happen.

"I won't let this happen!" she said mentally, giving herself confidence.

She intended to wave her right hand as soon as Alaina's head appeared in her field of vision. She could not determine the force of this punch, she could not even guarantee that it would find its target. Her body was emaciated to the point where she knew only one thing now. She was going to punch her rival in the face in order to make her fall. This was her line in this last paragraph. And she couldn't let her rival take it from her. Because then everything will be in vain. Because then nothing will change. Because then her story will only become a confirmation that no one here is able to change anything. Charlotte had the courage to try. And now she was trying to find the courage to finish what she had begun. She can't lose.

SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel - Page 8 Empty Re: SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel

Post by HighFly Sat Jul 31, 2021 11:23 am

Alaina was climbing knowing that Charlotte was going to beat her to the top. Keep climbing, keep going, she can do this. Alaina told herself that over and over with each step trying to move more quickly than before to catch Charlotte. If she was too slow then the belt would be in Charlottes hands by the time Alaina was able to make it up the ladder. The pain was great but she did her best to ignore it moving at whatever speed she could.

Alaina had her hand on the top of the ladder finally rising up. The title was still hanging, and Charlotte was there waiting. Unfortunately for Alaina a punch came right at her as soon as she was at the top, smashing her in the side of the head! Alaina's left hand gripped the ladder as her upper body swung around with the amazon dangling, seemingly on the edge of falling right off the ladder she had just struggled to climb! Alaina shook her head and in her daze she did her best to focus on the fuzzy Charlotte.

Thoughts of Charlotte defeating her in their last two matches crossed her mind. Valley Doll hitting the Valley Bomb on Alaina leaving her laid out in the ring as Valley climbed up the ladder to take the Entropy title from her was prevalent as well. Lots of ghosts were going to be laid to rest, or were going to haunt her for the rest of her career.

It couldn't end like this, no way. Alaina kept her grip right and let out a scream swinging her whole body around swinging back at Charlotte! Her right fist clenched it was Alaina's turn to swing it right back at the face of Charlotte using the momentum of her body along with her strength to hopefully connect with a solid, hard punch to the face of her opponent! Alaina was all-in at this point. It was really now or never as the amazon was desperate to defeat this difficult, incredibly resilient challenger! This strike had to hit otherwise Alaina was going to be in a world of hurt at the top of the ladder, in poor position to prevent Charlotte from striking back.

SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel - Page 8 Empty Re: SS21 World championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs Charlotte Ravel

Post by skip-stop Sun Aug 01, 2021 9:23 pm

"Fall down, fall down, fall down..." just one thought was now repeated in Charlotte's head.

She met her rival with a blow. And she didn't seem to need to know the exact force of that blow. Like the Frenchwoman, the champion was too exhausted. Therefore, even such a blow was enough for the body of the Amazon to turn to the side. The light in Charlotte's eyes was not clear, but she was able to see that her rival almost fell. That is why she repeated this thought in her head. If she makes Alaina fall, then nothing will stop her from taking the belt.

Many people think that thoughts tend to materialize. If that was true, then Charlotte was probably the exception to the rule. Because no matter how much she repeated this thought, the champion stayed at the top of the ladder. It was amazing tenacity. And just a moment later, a fist crashed into Charlotte's face.

"Uuuuughhhhhh..."

Her head jerked to the side. Beads of sweat splattered from her face, and a thin trickle of blood flew out of her mouth. For a few moments, the light completely extinguished in her eyes. Her right foot slipped off the step. It was only thanks to muscle memory that she was able to orient herself and grab the ladder posts, holding her weight only with the help of her hands. Even in this state, she was clearly losing in pure physical strength. Her bloody face was covered in fire. She was surprised that the blow did not break her jaw.

"I can do it. I can do it. I have to," Charlotte thought.

Her punches may not have been that strong, but she still had a chance. All she had to do was endure. She knew that her body was on the edge. But her willpower was still strong. It couldn't be otherwise. The young woman was not ready to admit that she was here only to secure Alaina's right to be a champion. She didn’t work every day to lose that day. With great difficulty, but Charlotte brought her slipped foot back up the step.

"Rrrrrraaahh!!!" she cried out.

She made a promise. And she must keep it. Whatever the cost. Talent is not given to you from birth. But you can hone your talent every day. And it was thanks to her talent that she was going to become a champion. Trying not to faint, Charlotte swung her left hand in an attempt to knock the champion off the ladder with the classic, but in this situation, a very dangerous left uppercut! She will not be able to respect herself if she loses the only match that she had no right to lose. And Charlotte was determined to fight. Until she takes this belt.
