Strolling...(Open format, fight or otherwise)

Thomas strolled idly in the cool day, letting the ambient warmth from the sun warm his skin. He was dressed in a tee-shirt and pants, his feet bare and his toes wiggling in the grass.

"And a lovely day it is for a nap," he chuckled to himself. He had been here all of three hours, was still tired and jet-lagged from the flight over and had no real idea of where he was or what he was supposed to be doing. He had figured on meeting someone and getting some help but after he had dropped his things in his dorm room, the beauty of the day outside had called him away. Spying an especially soft looking patch of grass, Thomas made his way over and took a seat before stretching out on the comfortable green and closing his eyes.

"Definitely a lovely day for a nap," he smiled, sighing contentedly. He would get some directions at some point, he was sure.

Courtney was lying on a low branch of a nearby tree, leaves covering the dirty blonde haired wrestler. Light dappled through the branches, casting warm light onto her board, muscled body. Her black MMA hat covered her eyes as she slept, and the dappled light casted shadows on her whitebeater and black basketball shorts. She snored softly for about thirty mintues, wanting a short break from the craziness in the Sex Wars campus. Very shortly after Thomas came outside, the southern girl woke up, sat up, and yawned, fixing her hat on her head."Nice nap....yall need it everynow and again", she muttered, grabbing the branch she sat on, and slowly climbed down. Courtney hit the ground, turning and stretching, then, she saw Thomas. He was smaller, and much lither and looked fast."Hm, interestin. He might be a good fight....", she pondered, walking over with her hands in her pockets and smiled down at Thomas."Sup?", she asked when she got close, waving if he opened his eyes.

Having only shortly fallen asleep, Thomas was only dozing lightly and stirred as Courtney hit the ground. Upon hearing her speak, he opened his eyes and looked in the direction of the voice. His eyes widened slightly as he looked at the large, muscled and not unattractive girl standing not too far away. Shaking his head and rubbing the last vestiges of his catnap out of his eyes, he stood and smiled to her. "Good afternoon. Lovely weather, no?" he said, making light conversation and returning her casual wave. Due to his recent arrival, he wasn't exactly sure what was to happen now but he got the feeling, something from the way that she was looking at him, that she wasn't just here to chat idly and then walk away. He stayed where he was, leaving it to her to initiate anything but he quickly organized himself mentally, assessing her size and estimating her reach, strength and trying to guess, as best he could, at her fighting style from the way that she carried herself.

"Oh yeah, reminds me of back home", she said back and smiled, then sat down."You new here, man? Aint seen you around here", she continued, her green eyes looking the boy over, and she could tell he wouldn't be a pushover in fighting.

"First day on campus. Just got here from good old England," he replied, relaxing slightly as she sat down. He let his physical posture become more laid back but he kept his mind sharp. He was new and didn't know all of the rules, but he had heard enough about what supposedly went on around the campus to feel the need to stay on his toes.

"And you? How long have you been around here for?" he asked, sitting down a good five feet away, not wanting to stand awkwardly but not wanting to get too close.

"Oh sweet, England. I've always wanted to go there, ya know?", she she, leaning down onto her side and propping herself up with her elbow. Courtney was relaxed, and she wouldn't attack anyone unless they let her...well..unless she knew them well..."Oh me?", she said, pausing for a little whille,"A quite a of months, I guess. Not really good with time unless I have to be", she explained."Wel, since you a newbie here, a think ya need a lil bit of iniciation, right?", Courtney asked slyly.

"Initiation?" Thomas raised an eyebrow. He was pretty sure he knew exactly what she was getting at when she said initiation but he wasn't about to start something unintended. "If there's something I'm missing or some rules I should know, by all means, I'd love to know them...and if there's some kind of ritual that I need to be told about, I can't see any reason for you not to be the one to tell me," he said carefully, phrasing it in a way that left it open but didn't precisely invite an attack. Not that he would be against sparring with this woman, not at all. She was good looking and would make for quite a good match up. He just didn't want to go giving anyone the wrong idea. Whatever that might be.

Courtney silently laughed to herself. This guy was too nice and careful for around here!"There aint no ritual, but I just like to fight newcomers who seem worthy to me", she said, smiling."So, how about a standard match? Win by KO, submission, or pin?", she asked, sticking out her tounge playfully for good measure :3.

"As long as there's no need to break any bones or draw any blood, that sounds fine to me," Thomas smiled. "I don't dislike a little sparring, and please don't expect me to draw any power because you're a girl. Not that you seem like the type to ask for that," he added, raising an eyebrow at her tongue-wag and replying by sliding his smile into more of a grin. He was still sitting, but his nerves were wired now and he was ready to go, whenever and however.

"Awww man? No blood? No breaking bones? " title="Sad" />", said Courtney, puckering out her lower lip."And I wouldn't be here if I didn't want you to go hard on me, bro", she said, standing up and getting into a low grappling stance."Your move, little boy", she said, smirking.
