Fidi Escalia Vs. Selene Elpis

Fidi felt Selene's tail whack her as the warrior thrashed about. It had much more of an impact even flailing about. She winced an backed away. Turning she began to slither away again, flicking her tongue out to try and sense which way to go. There was water below her and she decided to once again take a leap of faith and jump off a crumbling ledge to splash into the water, of the partially covered sunken temple.

Holding her head, Selene continued to thrash about expecting Fidi to take advantage of her current situation, but she felt nothing happen. Taking a few seconds to recover, Selene opened her eyes to see that Fidi had once again had jumped off. Enraged yet again by her cowardly opponent, Selene staggered to a vertical position as she slithered after Fidi and without even a second thought of what she was doing, she once again jumped off, hoping to land near Fidi so that she could finally get her hands on her.

Fidi heard a splash, momentarily after her own and cursed Selene's quickness. But she had to press on. She searched the dark sunken temple for cracks that seemed to lead to the outside to somewhere where she could escape. But all of her running was really starting to tire her out. She needed to find a different way to go about this.

But still, she managed to find a hole where some light from the surface was pouring in and slipped through it. She was lucky, it seemed like even she had a hard time slipping through it so maybe Selene would try and find a different route and by her more time, or maybe she would be dumb enough to try and squeeze through it as well. Fidi turned and looked through the opening and waited as her heart pounded with excitement.

Selene crashed into the water with a splash as she would then tear through the water, trying to catch up to the escaping Fidi. Selene had the end of Fidi's tail in her sight as she would turn the corner only to see Fidi had just managed to squeeze through a small crack in the water. Not wanting her opponent to slip from her fingers once more, Selene shot forward to try and grab the tail of Fidi but came up short as she crashed into the wall with a loud thud. "Grrrrr!!!" she groaned as she held her head in pain as she shot her arm out of the crack trying to grab Fidi, which was probably hopeless by this time, screaming "You pathetic coward! Come back and fight me like a Lamia!!!" she roared as she tried to force her way through the crack, but her size did not permit her.

Fidi grinned as she saw an arm come out of the hole and nothing else. She would turn and try and lash her tail around Selene's arm and pull and let go only to try and pull again. She holed she could really daze the feisty predator and maybe even tire her out if she was lucky. Fidi had been doing a lot of hit and running but she'd probably tire out before Selene did if she didn't put in some kind of offense and she hoped this would work.

As Selene reached around for Fidi, she felt the opposing Lamia's tail wrap around her arm as she was suddenly pulled into the wall, crashing face first into it as her arm was pulled further out of the crack in the wall as it left Selene dazed. She thought the attack was over so she pulled her arm back through the hole only to realize that Fidi wrapped her tail around her arm once again and pulled her into the wall once more. A little more dazed after teh second collision, Selene would shake her head to remove the cobwebs as she felt Fidi wrap around her arm once more. This time when she felt Fidi pull, Selene would immediately plant her free hand into the wall and try to counter Fidi's strength with her own as she would then try to pull her arm back through the hole, and hopefully with Fidi as she would try to get a grip on the tail around her arm.

Fidi thought that she was doing good as she felt Selene slam into the wall over and over. But then as she tugged again, she felt resistance. Her eyes widened and she hissed,her tongue slipping out and flicking the water in annoyance. But then her eyes widened as she felt her tail pulled back through the hole a bit. "Hey!" She yelped and and tried to unwrap her tail so she could pull it loose from Selene and escape the predator's grasp.

Selene grunted as she pulled on Fidi, feeling the opposing Lamia coming closer and closer with each pull, however when she felt the tail wrapped around her arm uncoil and pull away, Selene would try to grab the tail with both hands. "You're not going anywhere!" Selene would scream as she would try to use both of her arms to drag Fidi back into the temple.

"Let go of me!" Fidi shouted back under the water. She put her hands against the other side of the wall as she was pulled about halfway back through the temple. She hissed as she tried to pull her way out of Selene's grip but the huntress was strong and her poor tail was being stretched quite thoroughly.

With a firm grip on the tail of the retreating lamia, Selene used full advantage of her strength and tried to pull Fidi back through the crack in the wall. "So that you can run away again? As if!" Selene shouted as she would coil her tail into a spring like position to help push against the wall in hopes that it would give her leverage in pulling Fidi back in, however due to her new found leverage, she would be placing more pressure than the weaken wall could handle as it begin to crack even more, but Selene would be too focus to even notice.
