The ring was loud, where the crowd was cheering and roaring for whatever reasons, but most obviously for this upcoming match. As the song "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry played, the crowd was either cheering, or booing. It doesn't matter to Sophia, who she just ran out of the backstage and into the opening, spreading out her arms like if she can fly and waving her hands, greeting the fans out here, before she ran towards the ring. Some of the fans outstretched their hands for a high-five, which Sophia gladly high-fived them on either side of the alleyway to the ring.

She went towards the left side of the ring and went for the first corner, where she walked up the steel steps. She then reached halfway across the ring and then entered by bending under the 1st rope. She immediately went towards the southeastern corner and stood on the 2nd rope, waving hi to everyone. She was just so excited to meet the fans, but whats more exciting is when she wrestles her opponent. The fan greetings are just to keep her excitement level high. She then jumped off and landed safely but loudly, as she faced towards the titantron to see who is coming next as she stretches her body.

Sophia's entrance music was changed to a generic one, and from the backstage a black-haired girl appeared. It was her opponent, Yoshiko, and as usual she didn't give much attention to the roaring crowd. She was wearing a plain white gi with a black sash around the waist, which made it more than obvious that she was a proud martial arts practicioner.

Behind her serious face, her mind was focused on Sophia, trying to analyze her before starting the match. She was more determined than ever, as her last match ended in a truly humiliating loss. Among the cheers from the crowd, there was one or two cat-whistles that she made her best to ignore.

She entered the ring and stretched a hand to Sophia. "My name's Yoshiko Oyama. Let's have a good match." She didn't smile, however, maintaining an almost expressionless face.

Sophia eyed Yoshiko. She was putting up a smile to conceal her pondering mind. As the fans cheered or booed at Sophia, because she was hot or just evil, she can assume that Yoshiko is a fair player, considering the styles these people usually use if they are wearing that kind of uniform. She never did see much fights of these kind of martial arts so she has to be extra careful when letting our her offense. She merely outstretch her hand to shake Yoshiko's hand. "My name's Sophia Tran..." Is what Sophia just said, seeing the seriousness in Yoshiko's eyes.

Yoshiko shook Sophia's hand. The handshake confirmed some of her suspicions about her opponent: she seemed to be quite the offensive fighter, perhaps a brawler, and by her stance she was not a martial artist like Yoshiko. She tried to read deeper into her, but her smile did an excellent job in concealing her intentions. Yoshiko would then walk back to her corner and wait for the bell.

Sophia just stood there, stretching her body a bit more. "Ring the bell!" The girl referee said as the bell rang. Sophia quickly tried to ram Yoshiko in the corner quickly before she can escape, doing a running high knee strike towards Yoshiko's face. She hopes that the sudden charge will make Yoshiko panic and stay still, or that's what she thought. She continued to put up that smile for the fun of it, but also a pair of eyes of seriousness on her face, showing that she is competitive and looking forward to the match.

Unfortunately for Sophia, Yoshiko was fully alert. It wasn't her first surprise attack either, and she was prepared for it. As Sophia's knee approached her face, she made a side-stepping motion while deflecting the blow with her left hand and wrist. Her opponent could be pretty vicious, she thought, deciding not to go into an offensive posture yet.

After the knee strike, which happens to be deflected and hit the top rope instead but luckily caused no damage to herself, Sophia quickly used her right hand and tried to grab Yoshiko's left hand before Yoshiko gets out of range, while putting down her suspended leg on the mat. If she managed to grab the hand, she would use her strength to pull or throw Yoshiko into the corner and do a vicious rampage on Yoshiko's head with right hands, if she managed to get her into the corner anyways.

Yoshiko sensed something dangerous coming her way when her hand was grabbed. Trying to prevent Sophia's next action, she would do a well-aimed low leg sweep before Sophia could put her other foot on the mat. As she had been grabbed, this could mean that they were both going down, but it was still better than having to defend herself from Sophia's strikes.

Sophia saw the leg-sweep coming, but it was too late as it took her off her balance and fell down. Quickly however, she grabbed the 2nd rope with her left hand and managed to land on the mat with both knees. She then quickly, while still holding Yoshiko's left hand, attempts to continued her strategy and throw her in the corner before Yoshiko can make any strike towards her vulnerable position.

Being on her knees, Sophia's throw didn't have much power, but Yoshiko went with the flow, trying to use the momentum to get her hand out of Sophia's grasp. If she was still on her knees by that time, Yoshiko would aim for a sharp kick on her chest, using her bare foot to buy her some time.
