Alignment: Face- She fights honorably and sticks to the rules, however if someone threatens her goddesses, she will break any and every rule to win. She is also quite aggressive towards youkai opponents, more so than against humans.

Tactics and style: Pro-style wrestling, with a focus on throws. She can hit quite hard, but usually requires setting up for the move beforehand (This reflects how many of her spell cards in the games are ritual spellcards, followed by a much more powerful and complex spellcard)

Favored moves: Suplexes, slams, powerbombs

Finisher moves:

Esoterica- Forgotten Ritual: A series of open palm strikes at the opponent's body. One strike becomes five, which then becomes twenty.

Great Miracle- Yasaka's divine wind: A backdrop suplex from the ropes, where Sanae first puts her opponent on the top rope, then climbs all the way up, grabs her, and falls over backwards for a spectacular landing. The name is due to the sound of the wind whooshing past as they fall.

Personality:
Devoted and stubborn to a fault, Sanae often times reminds people of a religious zealot with the way she puts herself on the line to serve the will of her gods. She is a kind and loyal person though, and she sincerely believes what she does is the right thing, even when some might say she's blinded by her own faith. She is also kinda ditzy and not particularly bright. She prefers to keep her world simple; serve her gods, protect her shrine, and exterminate those pesky youkai!

History:
Born in the outside world, Sanae came to Gensokyo only recently, through a powerful spell that brought the entire Moriya shrine to the top of Youkai Mountain. Upon coming to Gensokyo, Sanae caused great trouble in her efforts to gather faith so that her goddesses would not fade away, which eventually brought the ire of Reimu Hakurei down upon them. Unprepared, barely in control of her newfound powers, Sanae was defeated easily, along with both Kanako and Suwako. However, Reimu could do little to get rid of them, and they remained on top of the mountain, becoming symbols of faith for the Tengu and Kappa who lived there.

Despite becoming established residents, Sanae is still trying to gather all the faith in Gensokyo for her goddesses. It's the only way to make sure they can continue to live as they always had, and the only way to make sure they can remain in Gensokyo.
