It's simple.

FnF already has a tough time generating interest without a complicated backstory that no one's going to read.

When there's no more cobwebs on that forum and it's getting regular activity, then, maybe, those involved could help figure out what they would like to see done with it.

Ah, I'm open to the idea of a central hub of some sort and any suggested locations/settings (Maybe for PPVs).. Other then that, openness in locations allows possibilities to be limitless

Yes, I am concerned that creating backstory and stuff will not necessarily attract members

Well, I suppose that's true... I suppose to each their own, and all that jazz.

I suppose when I mention the city (which I have done already) I'll just put in a clause about it being one of the most popular locations, as well as some sort of planning hub for beings not necessarily related to the Sellers family at all. If someone just wants to say *Kazap off to wrestleland via Miss Sellers* that's fine too.

Edit: Alright, I surrender the idea. Consider it scrapped.

And... that would be kind of neat, actually. I'd love to have a conversation about it in PMs or on some chat client.

Double edit: Alright, maybe not getting all mythic with a backstory, then. @_@

for the Gm just talk with the more active female fnf people or just have a alternative version of Ms Sellers handle ruling the main hub city which her alternative version of her character can rule from with you as her adviser.

I'm not against a male GM! I've always wanted more real, believable male characters.

Just not in FnF. I don't care what you do there.

Heh, yeah, something like Sigil.

And believable characters are fun. Always fun, those characters who it is possible to believe.

Anyway - is there a section in the Rules and Info subforum where some basic background information could be placed? I really couldn't find much besides 'here be magic' which prompted the creation of the thread. ^^'

My idea for a GM would be...

~Make them the big head GM.
~Secretly the devil or Oni.
~Have them grant wishes to the winners of contests, they're exact wishes. (Say, "winner: I wanna be champion of the universe!") THEY GET what they wish for, for a price. (By being trapped in dark space >3)
~Thus screwing them over with something completely different, like throwing them into a rift of imprisonment.
