Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Sarah Gatt (Complete)

As the reverberating twang of the samisen began echoing through the arena Akashi walked out to the ring. Finally she was getting her first match in the AFW. She wasn't nervous in the least and was looking forward to a good match. Sliding into the ring she made her way to her corner. She began doing the equivalent of the Sumo ring ritual. Though she had no salt to cast before her she made all of her other motions perfectly.

Bouncing up and down on her heels she eagerly awaited her opponent.

'Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast' signaled the entrance of Sarah Gatt. Nervousness wasn't a factor for her, only confidence, and exileration at the thought of destroying her opponant. She made her way down the ring wearing her leather coat, underneath which was her red one-piece, ignoring the cheers of the crowd. She wasn't here for them. She was here to fight.

Climbing into the ring and walking to her corner, Sarah got a look at her opponant. "Great," she scoffed. "My first fight here and I get the girl with the diaper."

Akashi clenched her fists but her face remained. A cool smirk graced her lips. "Is that an indication of how this match is going to go? Pretty lippy for someone who hasn't even done anything."

She stretched her arm, rolling it around as if she was warming up a punch. "You should have just called me ugly or something like that. I still would have went easy on you. Disrespecting Sumo is unforgivable."

As the bell rang Akashi stepped forward. Her determined face was eager for the match. She came up to Sarah as if to lock up in a test of strength but instead of raising her hand she aimed a heavy open handed slap at the other woman's chest.

Sarah grinned wickedly. "Aw, it's all right. I can still call you ugly if that's what you really want. And don't worry about holding back. I want to have fun."

When the bell rang Sarah shed her leather coat and draped it over the ring post. She went to meet Akashi in the centre of the ring, looking for the test of strength, only to recieve the open palm to the chest. Sarah snarled, and went for a kick to Akashi's stomach.

Akashi smirked as she threw her slap. She was looking to have fun too. As the kick to the chest came Akashi grunted. A kick wasn't going to take her down that easily. Akashi's training had made her able to withstand the fierce hand slaps of other Sumo wrestlers.

She grabbed Sarah's foot while it was buried in her gut and looked up. She then attempted to swing Sarah by the foot towards the ropes.

Even though her kick landed it didn't look like it had down much damage, and Sarah yelped when she was thrown against the ropes. Sarah had watched a lot of wrestling on TV in the past, and that experience told her to bounce off the ropes and try to deliver a running clothesline.

Akashi was glad to see she was able to fling Sarah towards the ropes. She saw Sarah stick out her arm and try and clothesline her but she hunkered down. She would let Sarah run at her but opened up her arms to try and catch Sarah. Akashi would still feel the effects of Sarah running into her but she was hoping to turn Sarah's own momentum against her and flip her onto her face and/or stomach. If it worked, hopefully she would recover first from Sarah's impact.

Sarah didn't expect Akashi to voluntarily take the hit, and was even more surprised when she slammed her into the mat. If Sarah was a more experienced wrestler, she might have thought of a way to counter it. But as it was she took the fall, and reeled from the hit. She wouldn't recover right away after that one.

Akashi was stunned as she fell but was able to crawl over to where Sarah was. Akashi slowly rose and then fell, hoping to drop her butt down hard on Sarah's back. If this worked then she would try and wrench her arm underneath Sarah's neck and pull it upward while sitting on her back.

Sarah grunted when Akashi's full weight fell on her. She wasn't exactly off to a good start in this match. She clenched her teeth when she was pulled backwards, using one hand to try to pry her arm off.

"ugh...you bitch!" Sarah growled. She would try to throw her other arm backwards, trying to elbow Akashi repeatedly in the head.
