[FWC] Semi Finals Canada Vs. Croatia

It took a minute for Ace to get up, her injuries and the damage she had taken so far taking a toll on her body. All she could hear as she stood up was the crowd cheering, chanting her opponents name, and for some reason, as she got closer to reaching her feet, they started a low rumbling sound, getting louder as she rose up, the rookie realizing what it was just as she turned...

"[size=50:1ngchtp6]oooooooooo[size=85:1ngchtp6]ooooooooooooooooooooo"

...and got blasted in the temple with Nikolette's powerful fist.

"OOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!"


The crowd erupted. as the punch caused Ace's body to do a full turn, Ace's eyes rolling in the back of her head as she collapsed onto her front, head bouncing off the mat before she laid, sprawled out, on the ground, body completely limp after that devastating punch.

When the punch connected and Ace was laid out, Nikolette sighed. She dropped to her knees and laid her body across Ace's. She hooked the silver haired Canadian's leg and rolled her back into position for the third pin attempt in so many minutes. If THIS ONE didn't stick, Nikolette wasn't sure WHAT she could even DO to the Canadian.

"One!"

Ace groaned, body limply held in the engineers grip as she was pinned, the crowd counting along with the pin again.

"Two!"


"THREE!!!

They yelled, cheering as the bell rang and the ref girl helped Nikolette up, raising her arm as she was announced as the winner.

It took a couple minutes, and the aid of smelling salts, but Ace was revived, soon slowly sitting up and groaning, one hand holding her burning ribs, as the other gently rubbed at her temple, where a dark bruise was rapidly making itself known. She didn't take long to figure out what happened, letting out a deep sigh. Another loss, another failure. At least she had been able to put up a fight this time, as opposed to her last couple of matches. Still, this certainly wasn't going to silence any of her critics.

Rolling out of the ring, she let Nikolette have her deserved time to shine, the woman having won fair and square against her, Ace even clapping politely for her victory as she limped her way up the ramp. Nikolette had Summer Splash and the FWC Finals ahead of her, but all Ace was looking forward too at the moment was a nice warm shower and an ice pack for her head.

Nikolette hopped off of Ace when the three count hit. She raised her fist high in the air and took it in. With this victory, she was on her way to Summer Splash! her first Pay-Per-View and she couldn't be more excited. Now Kelly just had to go through with her end of things. She'd made it through round one in a bizarre match that once again had Taylor and Morrigan showing up.

Nikolette pushed those thoughts aside. She had earned a good victory even if her opponent didn't seem to be at 100%. Now she really had to train and get serious for Summer Splash so she could represent... Nikolette paused. She was representing Croatia but she wasn't a Croat at all. She was Serbian through and through. If someone asked her, that's what she would say.

She pushed those thoughts aside as well. It was time to slip out of here, take a shower and think about the final round of the tournament!
