Stress Relief at the Dojo

Kozue kicked out after the two count, but it was mostly for the sake of formality. It hadn't been a total blowout, she'd managed to get some decent licks on Alaina. But, at the end of the day, there was a gulf in skill between the two that Kozue had to work on closing. She wasn't there yet. One day. But not this day.

"I think it's safe to say you got this one wrapped up." She gave her a little slap on the shoulder and chuckled. "I want a rematch sometime, though. Like, an official one. Was trying to stay away from Friction matches, but I'll make an exception if you're down for it."

Alaina nodded as Kozue stated her intentions for a rematch. "You just tell me when you want to step in the ring and I will be there." Alaina said as the spar ended. "We have some ropes to run though don't we?"

Alaina knew the more she did now the better she would be later. "I should bring Charlie's lazy ass here for rope running sometime. I think Talia is making him fat and happy." Alaina joked as she began to run the ropes.

Kozue was always hesitant about getting into matches with other women, especially Friction women - so far, the Friction girls she'd met had been an annoying, preening group of sniveling cunts. Her 'trainer' included.

But Alaina seemed straight. Maybe too straight for her own good, in a place like Friction, but at least she had good people watching her back. And Taylor.

"Say about a year from now, think that'll be enough time to get up to speed. And no," Kozue sat up and pointed Alaina's way, smirking. "I have ropes to run. You won, you get the day off, that was the deal."

"I would feel like a bitch if I let you run it alone. Besides, you did get behind me even though I expected it right?" Alaina asked. "The more work we put in now the better we will be down the road. Besides, if I stand still you are going to zip right past me. I can't have you humiliating me in the ring next year after all."

Alaina leaned back against the ropes waiting for Kozue to begin her run. Alaina figured a good rabbit to chase would help her run harder.

Kozue had a little laugh that faded into a sigh, as she looked up at Alaina with a softer version of her typical smirk. "I can't keep hanging around you, can I? People might start thinking I'm a nice person. Can't have that."

She stood up, dusted off, and made her way over to Alaina from behind. Kozue gave her a quick slap on the back as she passed. "Tag. You're it."

And with that, she was off.

Alaina chuckled as she gave chase as best she could. She didn't nave speed but she knew over time she could keep going and maintain her top speed or close to it.

"You know, if you did want a spar or match against a Tension guy I can talk to Charlie. Just go easy on him, he is pretty easy to throw around and stuff." Alaina said. Back when she spared with Charlie the first time she thought he would be pissed that a woman was bigger and stronger than him. She was able to slam him around no problem, but she still lost the first few. She began to wonder in an actual match between them who would win.... Alaina liked her chances. She also figured she could handle Charlies girlfriend in a match with her Tension comeback.

Right now, Alaina was content to tire herself out training to near exhaustion with someone else at the dojo. It was always nice knowing that she wasn't the only one who was newish. Good company was hard to find, but as far as Alaina was concerned she had been lucky. Only Z.Z and Fathia really struck Alaina as the Friction women she truly disliked.
