Reira Kirishima vs Julia Rogers

Julia needed a moment to recover after that rough landing onto the floor, and luckily, Reira didn’t seem to mind giving it to her. The blonde heard her foe’s cocky laughter, and her insulting words. But in spite of them, Julia grinned in response.

“Don’t make me laugh.” Julia said as she pulled herself back to her feet with the apron’s help. “A real champion like Taylor...wouldn’t waste her time with a piece of trash like you!” That actually sounded like a matchup she’d enjoy watching. Though, she only said it to show Reira she still wasn’t intimidated while biding her time. She’d had a moment to catch her breath and recover, and now all she needed to do was wait for an opening of some kind.

Reira frowned, going through the ropes and dropping onto the floor in front of her opponent.

"Just what would you know about being a real champion anyway? You've never held gold, just like that boyfriend of yours failed to win this gold!"

She yelled, grabbing Julia's arm and attempting to irish whip her towards the metal guardrail!

Julia hadn’t held a title in the AFW, but she had in much smaller places. Not the same thing, but the luchadora understood what it meant and what it took to be a champion, and she was going to do everything she could to prove that tonight against Tension’s world champ!

Her arm was grabbed, and Julia felt Reira starting to throw her right toward the guardrail. But just as her foe’s arm fully extended on the throw, the blonde tried to turn the tables by grabbing on to Reira’s arm and attempting to send her off toward the metal rail instead!

"SHHHHIT!"

Reira had just enough time to yell, before she crashed side first into the metal steps, actually flipping over them and hitting the padded floor on her back, cursing as she held her side, feeling like she just had a hammer smashing into her ribs!

The crowd roared in approval as the champ went crashing right into the steps and flipped over onto the padded floor. But Julia wasn’t celebrating just yet. She had a nice opportunity in front of her, and she wasn’t about to waste it.

She patiently waited until Reira started to get up, and would take off in sprint toward the steps once she was close to a vertical base. The luchadora would then leap and step up off of the steps to throw herself into the air and attempt to land on Reira’s shoulders with her legs coiling around her neck, before swinging around and attempting to flip her onto the mat once again, this time with a hurricanrana!

Reira groaned and pushed herself back up to her feet. Alright, she admitted, she got a little cocky there, hadn't seen that coming. She could come back from this, she wasn't in trouble just yet.

Getting up though, Reira encountered something else she hadn't seen coming, Julia's body in the air coming right at her, before her vision was blocked by Julia's crotch, feeling herself being spun and flipped, hitting the padded concrete floor with a loud gasp, her body arching as she pressed a hand against her back, the crowd on their feet after that impressive hurricanrana!

Her flight through the air, sending Reira flipping onto the mat and hearing the roar of the crowd all got Julia’s adrenaline rushing through her. She smacked her hands on the mat and jumped right back up to her feet. “LETS GO!” she shouted out at the top of her lungs, only further fueling the audience’s cheers.

Moving over to Reira, she bent down to grab a hold of her foe and started to pick her back up, before attempting to roll her back into the ring. If she could get her in, the blonde would then climb up onto the apron and grab a hold of the top rope. From there, she’d suddenly sling herself up and over the rope, flipping forward in an attempt to bring her back crashing down onto Reira!

Rolled into the ring, Reira shook her head, pounding her fists onto the mat in frustration. She'd show that little bitch. She'd get ahold of her and-

"GAHH!"

Reira yelled in pain, Julia's body crashing down on top of her, her limbs raising up from the impact before she lay on the mat, groaning, the crowd cheering in support of Julia after that big hit.

Julia once again immediately sprung up after crashing down onto Reira, lifting a hand up high and pointing up toward the rafters, signaling to the crowd that the luchadora wasn’t done flying just yet. And after briefly glancing back at the downed champion, Julia then stepped through the ropes to move out onto the apron at the side of the ring that was facing Reira’s back.

There she patiently waited once again for her foe to pick herself back up, stalking her like a hawk with its prey. And as soon as Reira was back to her feet, Julia would then jump and pull herself onto the top rope before springing off of it. Hurling through the air toward Reira, the blonde would twist her body through the air and whip her leg at the back of the champ’s head and neck, aiming to blast her with the luchadora’s signature Pistol Whip!

Reira had only just gotten to her feet, rubbing her sore back, before taking a hard kick to the match of her head, dropping the champion to the mat on her front, groaning loudly as her head throbbed in pain.

The crowd stood on their feet, chanting Julia's name, sensing there might be an upset early on!
