Talk Over Tea

"Never understood the whole Tension scene. Why would men want to willingly fight women. They lose much of the time, anyway. But, I suppose women do slip up sometime and men get their victory." Xuan says, showing Getsu her view on male wrestlers. "But, it is nice to meet them out of the ring."

"Well i wanted to join this league for the casual friendly feel and focus on equality. Gender doesnt make much of a difference in the feild of battle."

"Ah, good to hear something different. Heh, most males surely just want something other than... 'Friends'." Xuan was referring to those who participated in sexual fights. She didn't flat out say it to not sound so rude to Getsu. The woman would sit back in the booth and crosses her arms.

"I have had skill in fights with training but it was always for a purpose that I couldn't take lightly. Survival, protecting someone, catching a thug. Doing what I'm good at to make people happy like this is a dream come true really."

Xuan's eyes lower in a contemporary way. This man was very interesting. He was the first man she had met that fought for more than just personal benefit. The thieves back home didn't do thatz and many ken she met afterwards surely didn't.

"Yes, yes. Dreams can always become real. Now what if that someone can protect themselves? What then?"

"They could. I stayed until no one needed me anymore then began living my life for myself with peace of mind."

"Until that peace ended and you came upon this place. A place where you could, show off your skills. Where you can do what you do best with no consequences." She wanted him to say the right answer. Xuan didn't know it at the moment, but slowly she was finding more and more in common with Getsu.

"There is no more crime, risk, death, paranoia. "

Gets finished his tea and leaned on the table a bit more with a somewhat charming or mysterious smile

"I can finally have fun."

"Yes...No crime, risk or death..." She didn't say the fourth one, for purposes that she didnt want to think about or admit. But, her worried face was quickly combatted away by this man's smile.

Not knowing it, Xuan blushes lightly. "I s-see..."

"That is why we should do this. Entertain people. Have fun. Stay fit and healthy. If we didn't have that, why wrestle?"

He noticed her flustered reaction a bit. It surprised him honestly that he could cause such a reaction without trying. He was flattered once he pushed away suspicion of there being another cause.

In reaction,he smiles warmly at her and spoke again.

"You are quite nice to talk to."
