Rodents at a Cafe

"Ah? I was just gonna like, take a taxi or something." Gail shrugged. She certainly wasn't against his proposal or anything, it was just really unexpected.

"But, if you're offering, I guess no reason to say no, seeing as you haven't drugged my food."

"No no, you shouldnt have to do that. A lovely won like you shouldn't be caught in the rain or be woth some sleazy cab driver. Stay the night here." Conza again offered to her. He makes a smirk and shook his head at her slightly...off joke.

"Oh yeah, that's real convincing." Gail rolled her eyes. She poked her fork into the bird's carcass. "I guess I can't refuse though... so fine, you get to have me for the night." Another forkful of quail went into her lips.

"Excited?" She looked up with a slightly sultry smirk.

Without thinking of it until just now, Conza realizes that he just invited her to spend the night here. His cheeks flush red with her question. His eyes waver a bit in trying to look at her and not look away. It was hard, but doable.

"Um...Y-Yeah, sure."

Conza's cute red face widened the smile. "You don't sound very sure." She said simply, getting up and walking towards him.

"If you're not okay with it, they you gotta say it..."

Conza shouldnt be this shy. He usually wasnt. At least he thought he was get to over his fears. But maybe it was something different altogether? Soon, Gail was right besides his chair. In that small time if thought, he knew he had to be nice to this woman. As she was also his houseguests.

He gently takes her hand and kisses the top of it. "Its not a problem to me. Im excited to have you stay the night."

Conza kissing his hand was a little bit unexpected. But whatever, it wasn't that weird. Or maybe her expectations had shifted after him bringing her over to fight, nothing else would seem too weird.

"Yeah, I can see that." Gail laughed, poking him just below the navel.

"Um...So what would you like to do now? Miss Gail?" Conza got up and took his playe of bones to the counter besides the sink. Throwing away the bones, he put the plate in the sink to soak.

Gail shrugged. "Whatever you'd want's fine, really. More wine would be nice though." Gail giggled. She wasn't exactly weak to alcohol, but everyone enjoyed a good drink.

He points over to where he kept the wine. It was a cabinet with about 7 of them. Each different kinds. "Help yourself. You are a guest. If there's one you like, I can ask mother to send more. Its all straight from France. I...Dont drink much."

When he began to think about what he would like to do, he thought quickly. And replies: "M-Maybe another match? A small one...If that is okay..."
