Shiyomi Tanikawa Vs April Springs - Shiyomi's debut!

Shiyomi:

Shiyomi was excited about her Momentum debut. Entering a new league was a exciting experience for anyone. When she received the details of who she fighting however, she was somewhat disappointed. Looking at the person she was fighting; she was a passionate boxer, but at 5'4" and weighing 115lbs, Shiyomi did seem to have an unfair advantage. All she had hoped was that because she was older, she might have more experience than Shiyomi. She had tried to get tapes or clips of her opponents boxing before hand, like she used to do when she competed nationally. She had managed to get an old high school boxing record. Which was impressive, but nothing quite as recent, which was a disappointment. Either way, Shiyomi planned to get out there and destroy this woman.

Stepping out from backstage to her music, Shiyomi world walk slowly towards the ring, letting her mind sink into the music as she walked, step by step. Letting the music seep into her brain and get her into the mood. As she walked she rocked her gloved fists backwards and forward, the black leather shining from the stage lights. Once she approached the ring, Shiyomi climbed in, taking a moment to look around and take in the depth of the stadium. She had boxed in many places, just not anything like this. The number of people watching was breath taking. Once she finished looking around, Shiyomi would make her way to the corner and sit on her stool, waiting to see her opponent in person.

April was so excited. She was going into her first match against a woman who seemed to have an unfair advantage, but that wouldn't stop her from trying to win this boxing match. She strapped her boots on and stretched before lacing up her gloves. She then heard her music playing and she stood up. She headed to her door, taking a deep breath and pounding her gloves together before she opened her door and headed out. After her door was opened, she slipped on her left glove. She then pulled her hood over her head and headed out to the ring. She pounded her gloves together and walked down the aisle. She slipped through the ropes and held her gloves up in the air after her name was announced and she slipped off her robe and bounced around, waiting for the bell to ring.

Shiyomi kept a close eye on what was going on. She knew little about who she was facing but decided to try and get some information now. She really was small. Which worked in her advantage. This was going to be a breeze then. As soon as she entered the ring and got into her corner, Shiyomi stood up and walked to the centre of the ring, getting ready for April to arrive. When she did arrive in the middle, Shiyomi simply smirked and spoke quietly so only they could hear each other.

"You ready for this? You are going to get crushed. Just don't blame me if you bleed out."

The trash talk felt good. It pumped adrenaline through her body and got her even more fired up. After a few seconds the referee would get them to touch gloves. Shiyomi held out her gloved fists so that April could bring hers Down on them. When returning the gesture however, she would smash down with force to make a point. Just another trick to unnerve her opponent.

After that, The referee signalled and the bell rang. The match had truly begun now. Shiyomi would take a step back at first, knowing that it would be easier to compose herself. Circling April, Shiyomi kept her gloves up to protect her face at all times, not giving April the satisfaction of landing a early face shot. After completing a entire lap around April, Shyomi made her move, lashing forwards with a left hook aiming at the woman's ribs. If she was successful, Shiyomi would follow through with a right cross to the face and a uppercut to the jaw afterwards. After she finished her attacks, Shiyomi went defensive. She raised her gloves and took a step back, knowing that more than likely, April was going to try and counter attack.

April was amused at her opponent's words, she knew this match could be bloody, but she didn't really care. She just wanted to box and have fun. Suddenly her opponent began to circle her, making a full lap around her. April put up her gloves, which was her first mistake. She felt a sharp pain in her ribs, causing her to bend over. She felt another punch to her face and a hit land to her jaw. She felt a little dizzy from this rapid attack and she fell forward after staggering around a bit. The ref would then begin to count her out, "One!"

Shiyomi had a feeling this match was going to be easy, but not this easy by any stretch of the imagination. After a combo of three hits, her opponent had already fallen to the ground. She had at least expected her to last at least a round before collapsing to the canvas. It seemed Shiyomi had vastly overestimated her opponent. Watching her fall forwards, Shiyomi pretty much sighed inwardly and quietly to herself. Hearing the first count Shiyomi was secretly wishing that April would get back up. Just so she could keep fighting.

"It's no fun if I beat you up in three punches you know? You might be a small brat but surely you can fight better than this?" She taunted, pretty much sneering afterwards. If April did get up, Shiyomi would take a step back, in preparation for Aprils inevitable counter-attack.

She got to her hands and knees before rising to her feet at the four count. She would then raise her gloves to guard her face from another attack as she bounced around, "It may be true that I'm a small whelp, but I will beat you." she hissed and began to throw a flurry of jabs towards her face and gut.
